This is absolutely one of the best resort hotels we have stayed. The view to the lake is not the best but we are very happy to be hearing bird chirpping in the morning. The corridor of the hotel is unbelievable wide and spacious. The service provided is amongst the best that a hotel could provide. This hotel in the best location next to Nanhu where most of the sights are within walking distance or very close by. It is offering beautiful and relaxing walks along the lake. Going to the old city wall or to the old town takes only a short ride on the taxi of about 10 minutes. The restaurant for breakfast is just beautiful and the food is excellent. We just love this hotel and we will be back. If you are planning to visit Jiaxing, this will be the best hotel in Nanhu. Jiaxing is just absolutely serene and beautiful. We have taken heaps of beautiful photos and so lucky to be staying at Jiaxing Nanhu Resort Hotel.

As soon as you enter the hotel lobby, you have a feeling of class, the decoration is very exquisite, the front desk brother is very welcoming, and the room looks very fresh, clean and tidy. The room was also very clean, with large floor to ceiling windows overlooking the city at night, and the bed in the hotel room was very comfortable, which was a very good experience.

Het hotel ligt op een geweldige locatie, naast International Trade City District 1. Het is erg handig om met kinderen de handelsstad te bezoeken. De t****e verdieping van het hotel is direct verbonden met winkelcentrum Xinguanghui, wat erg handig is. De kamer is schoon en netjes, en het beddengoed is zacht en comfortabel. De dame bij de receptie, Iris, is enthousiast, attent en snel. Het was een zeer aangenaam verblijf. 🫶🫶🫶

I had a great stay at the Sheraton in Huzhou, which sits right on the beautiful Taihu Lake. The hotel itself is a major attraction, and every room comes with amazing views and excellent facilities. The villas are especially impressive, each one has its own hot spring and a private swimming pool, which makes the experience even more relaxing. The hot spring area at the hotel is super comfortable, and the night light show is absolutely spectacular. Walking around the lake and around the hotel feels peaceful and enjoyable. A special thanks to Ms. Lucy Liu from the front office. She speaks good English and acted almost like a personal butler during my stay. She helped with everything, planning the hot spring visit, suggesting nearby boating options, and offering support whenever needed. Her kindness really made my stay even better. This hotel is great for solo travelers, couples, and families. Highly recommended!

De kamer is erg schoon en heeft een kleine tuin. Laat een klein briefje achter voor kamerwensen, en daar wordt op tijd aan voldaan, wat erg fijn is👍. Er is elke dag fruit, de wasappels zijn heerlijk en de lychees zijn vers. De omgeving van het hotel is zo mooi en erg rustig. Het enige minpuntje is dat het ontbijt te simpel is. Ziwei Hall is echt moeilijk te beschrijven. De service is niets bijzonders, maar deze maaltijd is duur en de smaak is niet bijzonder goed. De wintermeloen is één hap, 6 kleine stukjes, minder dan 100 yuan😱, Michelin heeft echt een lesje geleerd, en Michelin zal in de toekomst een omweg maken!

Stayed for 6 nights from 19 October 2025. The Good: - spacious room - good hot shower (very important to me) - walking distance to District 2 and Glory Mall. Lots of food choices. The Bad - The bathroom has a clear glass panel which looks into the bedroom. I had enquired at the Front Desk and via ”At Your Service” phone button at least 3 times whether they could do something for privacy as I was sharing room with my son. The staff told me that they could sent someone to install curtains. Subsequently, a man turned up and passed me a folded bedsheet. He said it was for me to cover the glass panel. I asked how I was to do it without any tools - ladder, hooks etc !!! He replied past guests had given same feedback but Management did nothing. He said that his colleague had tried taping up the bedsheet but it soon dropped due to weight! I called the ”At Your Service” again, this time a guy said he would get back if there's a room with full privacy. Instead, the same man returned with the bedsheet again! Please understand that for twin sharing, having privacy is very important. - not enough hooks in the bathroom to hang up towel to dry and clothes for changing. Had to drape over the bathtub. - I had booked a room with 2 single bed but was checked into a room with King bed. I called the Front Desk and a lady told me that I booked for a King bed. I said that I had printout to prove that I booked 2 single. Eventually, she returned call and informed that they would change our room in the morning, which was duly done.

I have to praise this guesthouse! It was incredibly cozy, and the owner was exceptionally attentive and helpful. The entertainment facilities were comprehensive, including a huge private swimming pool where every shot was a masterpiece. The ambiance was amazing at night, especially with the lights on. The rooms were spotless, and the soft, plush bedding made for a super comfortable and restful sleep. The heart-pounding amusement park was just a few hundred meters away, and we didn't have to wait in line at all the next day. My friend and I were extremely satisfied and will definitely stay here again next time!

De locatie is fantastisch, vlakbij het Westmeer en de LeiFeng-toren (maar daar zijn we niet geweest). Hoewel het een enorm complex is, is het pand goed onderhouden en de tuin is zorgvuldig verzorgd. We voelden ons bevoorrecht om in dit historische pand te verblijven, waar de eigenaar trots is op zijn huis en gasten met open armen ontvangt en hen iets extra's biedt. We zijn vooral dankbaar voor de jonge, knappe Rince, die geduldig een fietsroute rond het Westmeer voor ons heeft uitgestippeld. Dit was het hoogtepunt van ons korte bezoek aan Hangzhou, en het was tevens onze 15e huwelijksverjaardag. Dankjewel Rince!

We boekten een familiesuite. De hotelomgeving is erg goed, maar het serviceniveau van de obers moet worden verbeterd. Toen we haar vertelden over het kamertype dat we hadden geboekt, zei ze dat ze het had gezien. Toen we naar de kamer gingen, ontdekten we dat ze ons maar één kamer gaf. We belden om te vragen en vroegen ons te wachten, maar er gebeurde niets. We belden opnieuw en na lang wachten vonden we eindelijk een tante open een andere kamer voor ons (een familiesuite is een eenpersoonskamer + een woonkamer + verbonden met de woonkamer) (één kamer), we vonden dat het management chaotisch was. De obers wisten niet welk kamertype door de gasten was geboekt , en ze leken onbekend met familiesuites. Ik wist niet of niemand ze gewoonlijk boekte? Hetzelfde gebeurde toen we de volgende dag gingen ontbijten. Ik dacht dat we met een paar mensen in een eenpersoonskamer woonden. . Het wordt aanbevolen dat het hotel de opleiding van obers versterkt, niet omdat ze denken dat ze een vijfsterrenhotel zijn en zich geen zorgen hoeven te maken over zaken of service. . Ik vond het echt niet leuk. We boekten het voor één nacht. We dachten oorspronkelijk dat we meer nachten zouden boeken als de ervaring goed was, maar we waren overtuigd door de servicegerichtheid en besloten de volgende dag uit te checken 🙂
