"This are many good things that I like and one thing that can break the deal.  I like the room because it is bright. It has many lights. It is big too. I like the virtual assistant whereby you can control the curtain , the lights, the air conditioner and the VA is also smart enough to reply ‘yes’ in different way. The air conditioner however seems to have one temperature setting. It is always too cold or it keeps on blowing air and doesn’t have a thermostat.  The room however has no shelf space. No closet, no rack to place your luggage. The bathroom its translucent so a person taking shower , one can see a figure. I like the sofa and the table but the chair doesn’t like stable.  The breakfast is buffet style. It has quite a bit of variety and it changed on the 2 mornings that I ate there. There is a snack after 9 pm . I waited 25 minutes for a simple bowl of noodles. There were 5 people ahead of me and each bowl of noodles required time to heat up.  The staff has cold bottle waters in the lobby. There is no fridge inside your own room.  There is a washing machine and laundry that one can use for free. The staff said it would take out my laundry from the washing machine and put it in the dryer and they did. However , one inconsiderate guest took out my clothes from the dryer when they weren’t completely dried. He had 4 or 5 things to wash and he used 2 washing machines. I think because it is free and the guest wanted to maximize the usage of the free things. The hotel cannot control this kind of behavior. It is better if the laundry room is behind lock doors and only the staff can access it and of course, wash the clothes for the guests.  The toilet is something that I didn’t like. The moment you sit down, it flushes water and then if you move, it flushes again. But the problem that I had was the water was so strong that my buttocks were wet. I told the staff and he came to reduce the water flow which solved the problem.  One my last night there, I went to the bathroom 4 times and the last time I  was shocked to see a cockroach on the floor. It wasn’t moving but I wasn’t sure so I killed it. I dislike cockroach in any hotel. If I see this comment ( about cockroach sighting )  , I wouldn’t have stayed there because I am afraid there is an infestation and there will be cockroaches crawling all over me and enter my packing cubes , my clothes and my luggage. I was thinking it would be best not to write it in the comment if the hotel staff said they will would fix the problem. I spoke to the woman who welcomed me the first day. She was very nice and positive up to that point. When I told her about this issue , she said 沒辦法, it is impossible to resolve or there is no solution. Granted, this hotel has 8 stories and it is big. Eradicating pests and cockroaches, ants is not a simple thing but it is certainly not impossible. If China can collect samples from the moon and send astronauts to their own space lab, why is exterminating cockroaches be 汲辦法? Instead of taking a systematic approach to prevent further potential infestation , she said it is not possible.  I like this hotel. It has a lot of potential. The staff was helpful and always eager to help. The room is the best that I stayed in for my  trips and one of the best. ( the one in Pu’er is even better because the staff took my clothes, wash it, dried it, fold it and return it plus there was no cockroach problem ).  I hope the staff will take note of the opportunities presented to them by the guests , and make improvement. If I were to give a score, it would be 8/10 . 2 big points taken out because of the cockroach. "

"Beautiful new resort-style hotel. Excellent service. Modern gym and huge swimming pool. Unfortunately the saune was out of service - hope it will be fixed soon. Breakfast is delicious with western and great Chinese food. Great place to spend a weekend at."

"It's a great hotel. Keeps up to the Shangrila high standard. It's slightly away from the busiest part of the city but close enough to walk on a fine day. It's right next to the huge K11 shopping mall. Unfortunately it's very empty with low traffic so it's not a nice place to shop or hang out. That's a disappointment. Hope things will get better."

"This is absolutely one of the best resort hotels we have stayed. The view to the lake is not the best but we are very happy to be hearing bird chirpping in the morning. The corridor of the hotel is unbelievable wide and spacious. The service provided is amongst the best that a hotel could provide. This hotel in the best location next to Nanhu where most of the sights are within walking distance or very close by. It is offering beautiful and relaxing walks along the lake. Going to the old city wall or to the old town takes only a short ride on the taxi of about 10 minutes. The restaurant for breakfast is just beautiful and the food is excellent. We just love this hotel and we will be back. If you are planning to visit Jiaxing, this will be the best hotel in Nanhu. Jiaxing is just absolutely serene and beautiful. We have taken heaps of beautiful photos and so lucky to be staying at Jiaxing Nanhu Resort Hotel."

"This hotel, Pullman Taizhou Huahong, opened in July this year, and the facilities are excellent. The hairdryer in the room is a Dyson, with great airflow. The disposable slippers are of good quality, and the bath towels and bathtub are all new, making them very comfortable to use. Perhaps because it's newly opened, there's still a slight odor in the room. The buffet breakfast offers a wide variety, even including a fresh juice machine. Check-in was a little slow, but Ms. Anya was very patient and had a great attitude, actively helping to solve problems. Overall, it's a hotel with excellent facilities and a great location. There's a mall downstairs, making dining and shopping convenient. However, because it's newly opened, the service doesn't feel completely coordinated yet and might need more time to streamline. But thankfully, all the staff members have excellent attitudes and are trying hard to do a good job. The value for money is quite good. This stay was a bit rushed, so I didn't get to use the gym or pool. I heard that the gym and pool are outsourced, and you need to bring your own towels."

"The Hotel was absolutely gorgeous. All staff from the beginning extremely helpful and supportive. Starting with the smart check in person Nishant who speaks wonderful English, going on with the nice room service ladies to all people serving breakfast, the lovely chef from Xian with his great dishes. The room is spacious with a great view to the lights of the close amusement places and wonderfully illuminated bridges. We would certainly come back and enjoy life at the Marriott Taizhou. Once you are in Taizhou please don't miss the yellow caves 黄岩石窟. People at the hotel will tell you how to get there . Marvelous and unforgettable experience!! True for Hotel and yellow caves!!!
