"The location is very good. Receptionist carried out her duty very well and also provided good info regarding car parking. Ah! We were shocked by the smallness of the unit!! The only other place I have seen a similar one was in Japan. I am just wondering why Accor has to go to the extent of maximizing profits with offering of cramped spaces both in bathroom & room."

"This was by far the best hotel I stayed at in New Zealand. Compared to other Hilton properties, the bed here was noticeably larger and more comfortable. I stayed in a twin room, and each bed was around 1.2 to 1.5 meters wide, whereas other hotels only offered very narrow single beds (about 0.9 meters). There was also plenty of space between the beds, which made the room feel much more comfortable. The room was very clean, well-equipped, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The location was also decent, making it a very convenient and pleasant place to stay overall. I would highly recommend this hotel — especially if you’re looking for a comfortable and restful experience."

"Nice hostel in convenient area of the city! The hostel is clean and every floor has its own kitchen and living room. Not very social but good and clean Toilets are the best ones I saw in many hostels, just perfect!"

"De kamer was erg mooi en schoon, maar $30 per nacht voor parkeren, geen slippers, tandenborstel of water? Dat is echt absurd! Vergeet niet om deze dingen zelf mee te nemen. Het hotel ligt wel dicht bij het vliegveld. En het Novotel ligt vlak naast de deur! Er zijn ook veel parkeerplaatsen."

"Hallo, jongens. We hebben ons verblijf genoten. Helaas waren er iets dat verstreken was en de schoonheid in de halswegen moet aandacht krijgen. De kamer was een goede grootte, voor de prijs die we betaalden, dus we waren blij met dat. Het was niet het beste slaapje omdat het bed in het midden zag, alsof 1 van de 2 bases had gevallen, en we realiseerden ons pas in de ochtend dat we verliet, terwijl we onze zakken op de vloer zaten. Als u me wilt sturen, moet ik dat dan een foto van hem hebben. Over het geheel genomen waren we blij met ons verblijf op basis van de prijs die we voor die periode van het jaar betaalden."

"My friends and I had a great stay at The Bealey Quarter! The motel is situated in Christchurch City, allowing easy access to the tourist sites, whether you're travelling on foot, by car, or by public transport. There are plenty of buses and metro buses that frequently stop right near the accommodation as well! The staff were very friendly. We had a late flight (that got delayed even later) and ended up having to check in after hours. They were very accommodating with this, and similarly, when we asked for new towels, we received them immediately. Similarly, they were kind enough to allow us to put our luggage in their reception office whilst we went to collect our rental car on the day that we checked out. My only issue is that I had to contact them a few times before I received the late check-in details. The facilities were lovely. and very clean! The bathroom was private with a shower with good pressure and hot water. The bench and the toilet were a little high, which we were surprised by, but this wasn't a major issue at all! My only recommendation would be to add a ventilation fan to the bathroom, as although there is an open window above the sink, ventilation was still not ideal. The room came with a heater, a really good fan, and very comfy blankets and duvets. We were also provided with glasses and mugs, a selection of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate, a hair dryer, a bin, a little cupboard, desk, chair, and even a bench where our suitcases fit really well. The view of the courtyard was beautiful despite the somewhat miserable weather, and access to the courtyard via the back door meant we could use the hammocks in the nice grassy area :) The back door was a bit tough to open, and we had to actually get the staff to show us how to use it. My only other qualm is that there is no potable water in the rooms themselves. Instead, our keycard allows us to the Lodge (I believe the hostel area), where there's a kitchen and we can fill up. Overall, we had a great experience here and I definitely recommend the Bealey Quarter to anyone coming to Christchurch. It was so affordable too :)) I didn't get many good photos but here you go!"

"De kamer heeft een beetje geur. Ik raad je aan om geen ontbijt mee te nemen. Dit is het mediterrane ontbijt dat ik heb besteld. Haha, de helft ontbijtgranen en de helft jam. Ik kon het ontbijt echt niet doorslikken. Ik bestelde een banaan en 2 messen. Natuurlijk hebben ze het in beslag genomen omdat ik de kom pap (het hele ontbijt) niet heb opgegeten. Het tuinhotel heeft alleen een naam, er zijn geen bloemen of gras. De meeste gasten die hier verblijven zijn Indiërs, en de bezettingsgraad is redelijk goed haha٩(๑^o^๑)۶"

"Room was large, and had ample space to open 4 large suitcases. Room was clean too, and staff was friendly and helpful. Arrived at 1.30pm and was able to check in early. Only downside - Hotel parking is at the private open space adjacent to the hotel but could be better if within the building itself and sheltered."

"Het hotelgebouw is een nogal fragiele, eenvoudige constructie met dunne vloerplanken en slechte geluidsisolatie; op winderige nachten maakt het een erg luid ruisend geluid. De binnenplaats is groot en er is voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Er is geen ontbijt, maar er is een gemeenschappelijke ruimte waar je kunt eten. Het personeel dat ze inhuren schiet tekort in het schoonmaken van de kamers; soms legen ze de prullenbakken niet, soms vervangen ze de handdoeken of vloermatten niet, en soms wordt de kamer zelfs na meerdere dagen verblijf niet geveegd of gestofzuigd. De bedden worden plichtmatig opgemaakt. Het zijn waarschijnlijk werknemers die per uur betaald worden, want ze zijn niet grondig."
