We hebben een zeer comfortabel verblijf gehad in Pullman Zam Zam Madinah. Het hotel is prachtig en de hygiëne is zeer goed. We verbleven in een vierpersoonskamer, die ruim was.
We verbleven ook in Pullman Zam Zam in Mekka, maar die in Medina is veel beter.

Uitstekend, schoon hotel met een goede locatie. De enige nadelen zijn dat sommige van de kamerservice personeel onsamenwerken en tijd nemen om te bedienen zelfs na aanvraag. Het vreemde is dat een van hen liegt en beweren dat we de dienst weigeren. De meeste dingen die wij vragen, zeggen wij dat ze niet beschikbaar zijn en de koffiecapsules zijn helaas uitgesteld vanuit het restaurant.

Ik zal zeker terugkomen om in dit hotel te verblijven. Het hotel zelf is zeer bevredigend qua netheid en comfort. De omgeving was ook erg nuttig voor mij om te blijven, want er zijn veel winkels en eetgelegenheden. De shuttlebus ook erg behulpzaam.

Het slechtste check-in proces, onbeschoft en onbehulpzaam personeel. Kamers waren niet op tijd klaar. Parkeren is niet gratis. Boeking was voor een kingsize bed, maar voor 3 eenpersoonsbedden in elke kamer. De receptie is groot, maar er zijn 2 of 3 mensen die extreem traag zijn en er staan mensen in de rij om in te checken. Dit hotel is helemaal geen aanrader. Het enige goede deel is de locatie, dat is alles.

A very beautiful hotel, clean and fragrant… with welcoming and kind staff. My hotel room had a magnificent view of the Haram and the Saqifatou Banu Sa'ida garden. The hotel management should maintain this standard to satisfy its guests. However, in my room, water was dripping into the toilet, either from the toilet upstairs or due to a problem with the plumbing.

Eerlijk gezegd een 10/10 geweldige plek. Geweldige shuttleservice naar de haram en terug. Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel en roomservice. De beste persoon als je iets nodig hebt is Arman. Arman, moge Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ) van hem houden, hij is een geweldige man die je met alles helpt!

I'm not sure why it's classed as 3*, personally I wouldn't give it less than 4*.
The location was perfect. As soon as you exit the hotel you cross the road and are literally in the premises of Masjid al Nabawi. Obviously the mosque is a large complex so from there it takes a few mins to reach the actual building but that would be the case wherever you stay. In terms of distance from hotel to masjid, you couldn't get any closer.
The room was clean, comfortable bed, nice bathroom. I could hear the adhan from my room, which helps to wake up for fajr, and I was very fortunate to have a beautiful view of the masjid from my window. The attached photos were taken from my room.
The restaurant was very good with a wide range of delicious food to suit everyone.
Staff were helpful and friendly.
I genuinely can't think of a bad point and would definitely book with them again. It's worth it just for the location.

Over het algemeen was mijn verblijf goed. Het personeel was over het algemeen vriendelijk, hoewel de incheckervaring in het begin wat onprettig was. Gelukkig verbeterde de situatie daarna dankzij de uitstekende hulp van mevrouw Bayan. Het hotel voelt echter te duur aan in vergelijking met andere opties vlakbij Al Haram in Medina. Een groot nadeel waren de gangen – ze stonden vaak vol met etensresten die buiten de kamers waren achtergelaten, wat onprettig was en een slechte indruk wekte. Het beveiligingspersoneel had verdere training nodig om klantvriendelijker te zijn.

AAnonymous UserI booked this room for my parents who were performing their Umrah during Ramadan. They really enjoyed their 5-night stay at this hotel.
One of the biggest advantages is its proximity to Al-Nabawi Mosque, which is incredibly convenient for attending prayers, especially during Ramadan.
The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. My parents felt very much at ease throughout their entire stay.
They truly appreciated their experience, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Medina for Umrah or a spiritual visit.

However, it's crucial to arrange transportation with the hotel in advance, otherwise, an Uber ride will cost you an arm and a leg. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the signature Banyan Tree essential oils felt like an amazing bonus in a desert hotel. Overall service was excellent, with friendly staff always ready to assist. Of course, there was one disappointment: the mountain pool was closed due to a safety issue with falling rocks.

From the moment I arrived, the experience exceeded expectations in every possible way. One of the hotel’s greatest advantages is its excellent location, just a short and convenient walk from the blessed Masjid Al Nabawi. This proximity makes it incredibly easy to attend prayers, especially Fajr and late-night prayers, without the stress of transportation or long walking distances.
The staff at Makarem Burj Al Madinah deserve special recognition. Every team member I encountered was welcoming, respectful, and genuinely eager to help. The front desk staff handled check-in smoothly and professionally, always ready to assist with questions or requests. Equally impressive was the cleaning team, who maintained the rooms and public areas to an exceptionally high standard. Their attention to detail was evident daily, and their polite and friendly manner made the stay even more comfortable.
As the hotel is only around six months old, everything feels fresh, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The rooms, corridors, and common areas are spotless, well maintained, and beautifully finished. There is a noticeable sense of cleanliness throughout the property, complemented by a pleasant and refreshing fragrance that greets you as soon as you enter. This consistent cleanliness and inviting atmosphere contribute greatly to a sense of peace and relaxation after long hours spent at the Haram.
Another excellent feature of the hotel is the 24-hour gym, which is thoughtfully segregated for men and women. This allows guests to exercise comfortably and privately at any time of day or night. The gym is modern, clean, and well equipped, making it easy to maintain a fitness routine even while traveling. Having round-the-clock access is especially convenient for guests with busy schedules centered around prayer times.
Breakfast at Makarem Burj Al Madinah was another highlight of the stay. The breakfast spread is generous, varied, and well organized, offering a wide selection of dishes to suit different tastes. From fresh and hot options to lighter choices, everything was prepared to a high standard. The dining area is clean and pleasant, and the breakfast staff are attentive, friendly, and efficient, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable start to the day.
Overall, Makarem Burj Al Madinah delivers an outstanding hospitality experience. Its close proximity to Masjid Al Nabawi, combined with its new and pristine condition, friendly staff, excellent housekeeping, well-designed gym facilities, and high-quality breakfast, make it an ideal choice for visitors to Madinah. The location is excellentjust a short walking distance to Masjid Nabawi, which made it very convenient for prayers, especially during peak times.The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with some offering beautiful views of the Haram. Housekeeping was generally good, and the atmosphere in the hotel felt calm and suitable for a spiritual trip. Many guests also highlight cleanliness and comfort as strong points. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist when needed. Breakfast had a good variety, and the service in the dining area was efficient.

GGuest UserWe had originally booked another hotel but upon arrival there we immediately canceled our reservation and were looking for another hotel in the area ASAP, something clean, close to Masjid Nabawi and fairly priced. We knew the name and brand; however, we saw two Intercontinental hotels and went with the one we felt had a slight edge or advantage.
The hotel was built many years ago and we were informed that it is in the planning process of a renovation so we knew ahead of time what to expect. It has signature blue carpet and a 1950’s/1960’s vibe that I personally adored (almost out of a James Bond movie with Sean Connery). Everyday we stayed at the hotel, it grew on us. The view outside was heavenly mashAla. Remember you can open the window haha some people I imagine think they can’t. It such an experience and you have to do it. Most importantly, however, the sweatheart staff and how accommodating they were, you forget you’re staying at the Intercontinental and imagine you’re at your friends house. Again, We had an amazing window view and could see in the direction of Uhud. All The cafe’s are right outside of the hotel, the mosque is literally right outside the hotel and down the walking path, maybe a 5 minute walk. Plenty of pigeons to feed, affordable Ubers/ Taxi right outside, you can walk to Uhud you can walk to Quba, you can do it all. And the best part, the check-in/help desk are right in front of you when you walk in to the lobby.
Side note: if you enjoy peoppe watching , you get a great view from your hotel room to the outside.
They have a coffee bar in the Lobby with free dates and Arabic coffee (world class) and this hotel served the best Breakfast and room service food I’ve ever had and I’ve been to 51 countries, aged 44. It was even at par or better maybe than the Jabal Omar in Mecca we stayed at. You absolutely cannot lose out by staying at this hotel. If you have any issues pick up your room phone and dial any one of the prompts and someone will alleviate any issues you have.
The hotel executive management were world class and again treated me like a friend/family. Based off our repertoire I’d come back to this hotel because Sister Khadijah and staff were so amazing mashAla.

AarsheelFor what the hotels worth, it’s a really good one. The beds are super comfy, the toilets are clean and the staff are helpful. Shuttle bus is provided for all 5 prayers to the Masjid. Used uber sometimes if I had other plans, and it’s affordable. Probably the only negative thing I experienced is that the wifi can be a bit unstable inside the room. Other than that, totally worth it.

The location is unbeatable, just steps away from Al-Masjid An-Nabawi, with direct access to the ladies’ and men’s prayer gates, making it incredibly convenient, especially during prayer times.
The rooms were spacious, beautifully maintained, and spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds, soft linens, and all the amenities expected from a top tier hotel. The view of the Prophet’s Mosque from our window was breathtaking and made every moment feel extra special.
Service throughout our stay was impeccable. The staff were courteous, professional, and genuinely kind, always ready to assist with a smile. Check in and checkout were smooth, and housekeeping was attentive to every detail.
The breakfast buffet was outstanding, offering a wide variety of international and Middle Eastern dishes, all fresh and delicious. The restaurant staff were warm and accommodating, making sure every guest felt welcome.
Overall, InterContinental Dar Al Iman truly stands out for its prime location, world class hospitality, and serene atmosphere. It’s the ideal place for anyone visiting Madinah, whether for Umrah, Hajj, or personal reflection. We left with hearts full of gratitude and peace, and we’ll definitely stay here again on our next visit.
