Ik heb een fantastisch verblijf van vier nachten gehad tijdens mijn bezoek aan Marrakech voor de halve marathon. De service van het personeel was uitstekend – iedereen was vriendelijk, attent en oprecht behulpzaam gedurende mijn hele verblijf. Daardoor verliep alles soepel. Het hotel ligt gunstig dicht bij verschillende restaurants en bakkerijen, waardoor het heel gemakkelijk was om maaltijden en snacks te halen, vooral op drukke racedagen. Dat alles op loopafstand was, was een extra pluspunt.
Het was een uitstekend verblijf en ik kom volgend jaar zeker terug voor een andere marathon.

Остановились в данном Риаде на 3 ночи, и ни чуть не пожалели! Очень красиво и атмосферно, будто попадаешь в сказку, и круто иметь возможность прочувствовать их историю и культуру жизни.
Хозяйн, что встретил нас и дальше помогал со всеми насущными вопросами, был очень вежливым и гостеприимным.
Завтраки были очень кучными и сытными, особенно хотелось бы отметить их кофе (просто отдельное произведение искусства)
А еще есть бассейн в свободном доступе😍
Рядом с Риадом было маленькое кафе, по ценам очень дешево и безумно вкусно😌
Мы долго думали вначале, стоит ли бронировать данное место, но ничуть не пожалели о нашем решении💛

Ik begrijp de lovende recensies over dit hotel niet! De badkamer is verschrikkelijk klein. Je kunt je niet omdraaien. De douchecabine is ook heel klein en al het water stroomt eruit en op de vloer. Er vormt zich een plas en dat is verschrikkelijk! Wat nog erger is, het water in de kamer is koud. We hebben die avond nog twee keer gebeld en dit gezegd, waarna het even warm werd, maar de volgende avond was het weer koud. Niet warm, maar koud!!! Na het schoonmaken bleken er van de 5 verstrekte handdoeken, om een of andere reden, 2 grote handdoeken te liggen en dat was het dan. Ik moest opnieuw bellen om het te vragen! Er zijn geen slippers in het hotel en het is zeer oncomfortabel om over de koude tegels te lopen!

Als je op zoek bent naar een authentieke Marokkaanse ervaring, kun je niet om deze tijdloze schoonheid heen. Het is geen westers hotel, maar het heeft alle voorzieningen en charme die je je maar kunt wensen voor een kleurrijk genot, een oase in Marrakech.
Speciale shout-out naar Rachid, de conciërge, die er alles aan deed om je te helpen met alle vragen of aanwijzingen. Bedankt Rachid en bedankt Moroccan House Hôtel.

Geniet na een dagje op de piste van recreatieve voorzieningen zoals toegang tot de piste. Enkele voorzieningen van deze bed & breakfast zijn conciërgeservices, een gemeenschappelijke woonkamer en een picknickplaats.

Over het algemeen had ik een geweldige ervaring in dit hotel; het personeel was ongelooflijk behulpzaam en de voorzieningen waren geweldig. De kamer was prachtig, schoon en perfect om een verjaardagsweekend te vieren. Dit stond bovenaan de lijst van beste verblijven/ervaringen ooit. Personeel was erg gastvrij en er voor al mijn behoeften. Ontzettend bedankt.

Sorry for the long review, but I wanted to be as informative as possible and share the information I would have liked to know before booking. This was my 5th trip to Marrakesh and my first stay at Savoy Le Grand. I was quite nervous booking after reading some negative reviews, but overall I had a very pleasant experience. From the moment we stepped out of the taxi, we were warmly welcomed by Salah (concierge) and the Moroccan tea man in reception. From check-in to check-out (4 days later), all staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Everyone we encountered spoke Arabic, French, and English, which made communication very easy. The foyer is beautiful, and the grounds are extremely well cared for—even more beautiful than expected. That said, there is ongoing construction and upgrades, which are not mentioned on the website. This is currently their quiet season, and the main construction is above the reception building, which is being extended upwards. Noise started daily around 9:15am, drilling around 9:38am, and finished around 6:30pm. Estimated completion is 1 May 2026. If you request a room near the second smaller pool, the noise is much less noticeable. The noise is louder and echoes more around the main pool due to the square layout. The hotel has four pools: two outdoor and two indoor. One indoor pool is heated and includes jacuzzi jets. There is also an additional indoor jacuzzi at the spa, charged at MAD 250 per person for one hour. There are three à la carte restaurants on site: Moroccan, International, and Italian. Directly outside the hotel are a supermarket, Paul, Chilli’s, and Papa John’s. Please note that outside food is not allowed inside the hotel. There is an ATM in reception and direct access to Menara Mall, which closes at 10pm. Special thanks to Nabil at reception, who did an excellent job checking us in. He listened carefully to my needs and arranged early check-in to a ground-floor room close to the restaurants, spa, and gym, with a garden and pool view. Soundproofing from the pool area was good, although hallway noise does travel. The grounds are beautiful, but the ground-floor rooms occasionally had a sewage smell, which I’ve also experienced at other Moroccan hotels. We did experience a few issues with our first room (heating not working, leaking fridge, slow-draining sink). Without us needing to complain, Soukayna from guest relations came first thing the next morning and immediately arranged for us to move to a beautiful suite. This level of customer service, care, and attentiveness is exactly what you expect from a 5-star hotel. In the evening there’s live entertainment music in the bar and outside a light & water fountain display. The suite was stunning—very spacious, with a separate living area, two balconies, lots of storage, mini fridge, large sofa, king-size bed, two TVs, kettle, coffee machine, safe, bathrobes and slippers. The bathroom had two sinks (standard rooms have one), plenty of toiletries (no washcloths), a large shower with both handheld and waterfall options, and excellent water pressure. There wasn’t much space to hang items, and there is a bidet hose beside the toilet. Thank you to the head cleaning lady for the final touches and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. I’d like to thank all the staff for providing us with a wonderful stay. I love the Moroccan people—they are humble, kind, and always willing to help. Despite the construction, I achieved my goal of relaxation and a short break. This is now my new favourite hotel in Marrakesh, and I will definitely return and recommend it to friends and family

Amazing
KK DesaiThis is an absolutely stunning Riad. I cannot praise it enough. The courtyard is beautiful and full of trees and plants. The restaurant shares this space and is a wonderful experience to have breakfast, lunch or dinner among the trees and plants. We stayed in room Orientalle and it is just incredible. There is a balcony over the pool and plenty of room to relax. The artwork is also stunning, not just in the room but all over the riad. It is like staying in a museum. There are also many patios to relax in although we could not make full use of them as the weather wasn't great. The real stars of the Riad are the staff. They are simply amazing. Ahmed looked after us so well. Sorted out our transfers and organised a tour of Marrakech, booked a restaurant for is. Would always ask if we were okay was always ready with a tip or helping on what to do or where to go. When he wasn't there Khalid did the same. Khalid is also very friendly and helpful. It was great having them in reception just before you went out. As we had come to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary Ahmed had decorated the room with petals and had also arranged a bunch of roses for my wife. He also organised a special vegetarian dinner in the restaurant for us Housekeeping led by Latifa were great and the room was cleaned very well and repeatedly decorated with rose petals. Breakfast is a traditional Moroccan one and is very good. The star is however Oussama, our waiter. He looked after us every day and insisted we try everything and made sure we had a good breakfast. He is a very genuine person and truly wants you to have a good time. When we had dinner at the restaurant one evening he made sure we couldn't eat another crumb. A truly kind and sweet person I cannot praise the Riad and staff enough. It is not the cheapest place but for my wife and I it was worth every penny. The memories we have will last for ever. We will return

We didn’t have any issues there. In general the service is good even if there is nobody in the reception thus they give you your own keys of the main entrance and your room. As a suggestion it is needed a sign “Riad Nouhal” but anyway, if you follow the location on Google Maps, you will be in.

Absolutely great experience in old style. Beautiful building run by friendly people that were always ready to help. Small but cosy rooms that were kept clean everyday. Very good breakfast! Really was sorry to miss one because of early departure for a trip one day. All staff always smiling, helpful and ready to brighten your day with mint tea (even late in the evening). Very communicative, I enjoyed having some small chat with them everyday. They also have spa and hammam that was nice to try after one particularly wet and cold day. I truly recommend this hotel to everyone!

NNatasha Audina SI love the ambience, the decor and above all, the service that this riad has given from the moment we arrived until we checked out. The staff member that greeted us was very helpful and informative, and there were two night shift members who were incredibly helpful arranging our early breakfast (because we had to leave super early) and accompanied us to show the safest way to the square at the crack of the dawn. Even when we got lost on our way to the riad, the staff member also picked us up and helped us with our belongings. I would definitely recommend this riad to friends or family who want to make a trip to Morocco, especially Marrakech!

GGuest UserIt is located right next to the sea and Madina. The restaurant offers a nice view and serves very nice food. The hotel is family-owned and the owners make great efforts to ensure guests have a pleasant stay. The only downside is that the air conditioning is very noisy and the auto stop-start feature wakes you up all night. Additionally, the bathroom needs updating, and guests have to carry their bags to the first floor reception.

Location: The villa is about 30 minutes from Marrakesh city centre, so it’s definitely more on the quiet, countryside side. That’s great if you’re looking to unwind away from the chaos of the Medina, but just keep in mind you’ll need a taxi or arranged transport to get around. Ambience & Property: The place feels like a peaceful retreat. The pool area is beautiful, well-maintained, and surrounded by greenery and palm trees. Plenty of loungers and shaded spots to relax, which makes it perfect for a chill day. The architecture has a rustic Moroccan charm with small villa-style rooms that add to the cozy vibe. Rooms & Comfort: Rooms are simple but comfortable. Not ultra-luxury, but clean and nicely designed to match the overall aesthetic of the property. It feels more like staying at a private villa than a typical hotel. Service: Staff were friendly and helpful, though service can feel a bit laid-back at times (which honestly matches the vibe of the place). Food & Facilities: The poolside setup is great for relaxing, though food options might be limited compared to larger hotels. Best to plan meals or head into the city for more variety. Overall Experience: If you’re looking for a calm, aesthetic getaway with a beautiful pool and peaceful surroundings, this is a solid choice. BBellinisThe check-in process was good for customer service, but my room experience was terrible. I booked a superior suite, but I ended up with a regular room. I was informed that the person who was supposed to be in the room decided to stay another day. When I checked online, I found that the room was still available for reservation. The next day, when I asked to switch to my reserved room, I was told that it was booked again and that I should check back in line. Surprisingly, the same room was still available for reservation. I feel like they were scamming people by booking a suite at a higher price and then giving them a cheaper room.
The night crew member was very friendly and informed me that the manager was traveling. However, I don’t understand who is responsible for managing the website and ensuring that the correct room is posted when it’s available. I tried to contact them via phone and email, but nothing happened. I hope that Trip guide and the hotel will take responsibility for their actions and make sure that this doesn’t happen to other customers. I could have booked a different suite that had a similar aesthetic to what I was looking for, but I couldn’t even cancel the reservation. There should be a system in place for booking a specific room, and if the room is not available, the customer should receive an automatic refund. It’s their job to figure out when the room is available and what type of room it is. Additionally, the room had a bunch of knickknacks, and the table, wall, and bottom of the table were all chipped, cracked.
