De faciliteiten zijn een beetje verouderd. Er zijn pantoffels en tandenborstels voor kinderen in de familiekamer, maar er zijn geen bedrails voor kinderen. Er zijn geen borden voor warm en koud water. U moet deze zelf verkennen zijn gescheiden, maar er zit een transparant glas in het midden. Is het verkeerd tijdens het douchen? Kijken anderen vanuit de badkamer? Zeer gênant ontwerp. Bovendien is de ruimte achter het toilet erg klein en compact, waardoor het gemakkelijk is om te staan ​​bij het opstaan. Het hotel heeft een fantastische locatie en het personeel bij de receptie was erg vriendelijk. De kamer was onlangs gerenoveerd, maar rook niet onaangenaam en de ventilatie was uitstekend. De tv was groot en casten werkte perfect. Ze hebben zelfs een bezorgrobot! Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en we kregen bij het uitchecken twee flessen water van de receptie.

Faciliteiten: Uitstekend, het hotel is erg rustig en de faciliteiten zijn top, aan alles is gedacht. Hygiëne: Uitstekend. Het hotel is zeer schoon, met voldoende wegwerp toiletartikelen. Er is altijd schoonmaakpersoneel aanwezig om schoon te maken. Omgeving: Uitstekend, de omgeving van het hotel is goed en erg rustig, waardoor ik heerlijk heb geslapen. Service: Uitstekend. Het personeel is vriendelijk, de buschauffeur is vriendelijk en het ontbijt is ook erg goed. Ik zal zeker weer in dit hotel verblijven als ik in de toekomst via Pudong overstap.

Check-in was quick and easy. The staff spoke excellent English. The room was as described and matched the photos. It was very large and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. Room service was very quick and courteous. We needed an extra towel and it was brought within minutes. The food delivery by robot is funny, but I personally don't like eating from plastic bowls; I prefer a plate or bowl. The beach is great if you're travelling with children and the pool area is fantastic. Only the condition of the slide in the toddler area is no longer so good. The paint was peeling off in places and the play equipment in the water was very rusty in many places. The water in one pool was also very cloudy and didn't look very clean. But it was still a lot of fun... The breakfast was very good. There were even enough plates and cutlery for children. The selection was large and very tasty. The breakfast room was very clean and large enough for many guests, and the staff were very attentive and courteous. It was a very nice stay and I will definitely recommend the hotel to others.

Newly renovated room with top notch amenties and furnitures. Very comfortable stay although we are just there for a few hours. They provided hotel to pudong airport drop off as early as 510am which matches our need. They also provided free porridge at night as supper which is a plus. Can take didi to Disneyland Street which is around 10km away. They also provide pick up and drop off service for disneyland in morning and back at night if you need. Only downside was the breakfast they promised to provide for us to airport wasn't provided despite they said they will the day during check in. (breakfast was only from 7 to 10am and we leave for airport at 510am, so they said will provide us with bread and drink but was not given)

Ons verblijf in Banyan Tree Shanghai was werkelijk uitzonderlijk van begin tot eind. We vierden er ons t****e huwelijksjubileum en het team maakte het ontzettend speciaal voor ons. Ze hadden onze kamer prachtig versierd en verrasten ons met taart en fruit als een attent gebaar. We waardeerden die moeite enorm – het maakte onze viering nog gedenkwaardiger. Onze kamer was ruim, prachtig onderhouden en bood een adembenemend uitzicht op de skyline van de stad. We waren vooral dol op het minizwembad op de kamer – het hoogtepunt van ons verblijf was gewoon lekker ontspannen en genieten van een bad met uitzicht. De Tales Rooftop Bar was ook een geweldige ervaring. Het is de perfecte plek om te genieten van het prachtige uitzicht over de stad en de rivier onder het genot van een drankje. Ze bieden zowel alcoholische als non-alcoholische opties en we waren aangenaam verrast met de gratis hapjes. Het ontbijt was uitstekend, met een ruime keuze aan westerse en Chinese gerechten. Naast het buffet kunnen gasten ook vers bereide gerechten bestellen, zoals noedels en eieren, die warm worden geserveerd – een fantastische toevoeging. Het personeel was gedurende ons hele verblijf ongelooflijk professioneel, gastvrij en attent. Ze gaven ons het gevoel dat we gewaardeerd werden en stonden altijd klaar om te helpen met een warme glimlach. De algehele sfeer van het hotel is vredig en ontspannend, waardoor het een perfecte plek is om tot rust te komen, ondanks de bruisende stad Shanghai. We bevelen Banyan Tree Shanghai van harte aan en kijken ernaar uit om in de toekomst terug te keren.

First of all, I want to thank Manager Peter for upgrading our room to Executive Room. It gave us an excellent stay and experience. He was very helpful considering he's the only one who can speak English. He even helped us with our Taobao orders, online food cravings, etc. Even when he's on leave, the other receptionist was calling him and let him talk to us in English. He didn't have to do that since it's late at night but still, we appreciate it. Pros: 1. The Executive room was huge. 2. Variety of breakfast at the hotel and the One Step Restaurant that serve western food. 3. You can do your laundry for free. 4. Make-up room service was consistent and gave us generous amount of water bottles. 5. The whole vibe of the hotel was light and positive. 6. Smart toilet. 7. The hotel area was huge and full of trees, we didn't mind staying at the hotel for a whole day because of how relqxing it was. 8. With fresh towels everyday and the room jas a dyson hairdryer. Cons: 1. Only one person can communicate in straight english but app translate works. 2. The location was a bit far from the nearest MRT station but since the fare was cheap, we didn't mind at all. 3. Other than the restaurant, there is no convenience store nearby so buying food might be a struggle. Make sure you buy food/snacks before going back at the hotel. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and will definitely recommend the hotel because of the service and the amenities. Thank you for the upgrade and youe service, Peter. 😊

De hotelkamer was niet groot, maar wel schoon. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk. Je kon gratis Disney-films kijken op de tv in de kamer. Tijdens het inchecken was het behoorlijk druk en rumoerig in de lobby, maar het personeel was geduldig en het incheckproces verliep snel. De service van het hotel was van een vijfsterrenniveau, maar de faciliteiten voldeden niet aan deze standaard. Er was een kinderparadijs, geschikt voor kinderen onder de 6 jaar. Ook was er een Disney-winkel in het hotel, wat handig was om te winkelen. Een groot pluspunt, vooral voor gezinnen met kinderen, was dat je vroeg de Disney-parken in mocht en de shuttlebus van het hotel je direct naar de veiligheidscontrole van Disney bracht, wat het naar binnen gaan erg gemakkelijk maakte.

Wow what can I say about this hotel. I'm from Scotland and was weiry about booking a hotel away from shanghai city centre. Glad I did the city centre was far to busy felt like coming out of a busy concert. I shouldn't have been. Using Didi saved us the hassle trying to use public transport. Please note Didi (uber) ranged from £1.40 to £16 for a long journey. Didi arrived in 3 mins max WOW. You are close to the wildlife park and Disneyland you still need Didi to take you there but as the hotel offers a free shuttle then that cost isn't there. Shanghai Village is great for shopping again close by, across from disneyland The service in this hotel is 2nd to none. Derek (Manager) and his team are first class. I've never stayed at a hotel in which the staff make you feel so welcome. From a free gift, to a free upgrade. Free fruit and the willingness to help when you dont speak the language. The breakfast wasn't to my taste but looked lovely the staff went out of their way to buy bread and jam for us. We were offered a free bus to Disneyland we declined due to being to early for us. Didi only cost £4.80. But the offer was there. Derek and his team really go out of their way as I needed something printed off and was no hassle at all. I took his WeChat number (WhatsApp) just incase I got stuck I didn't get stuck but the offer was there and made me feel relaxed and not afraid to venture out knowing I could contact him. The hotel room was cleaned every day and was spotless. Room was very large, my room when I went to Hong Kong was a quarter of the size. Impressive! Has everything you need to be safe and comfortable. I genuinely can't fault this hotel and would have no hesitation to recommend to my family and friends. The surrounding area has a KFC and supermarkets there is a lot to choose from but more Chinese food is on offer. There is a bakery a few mins walk away and the bakery goods were delicious and I got my coffee from luckin coffee make sure you have the translater on your phone very easy to order if you have that plus the staff help too. So there you have it book this hotel and enjoy the hospitality Derek and his team offer you will not be sorry. I'm so glad to have stayed there sorry to leave.

It's really the best house I've been able to stay in with my family. The service is incredible and also the facilities a luxury each object in its position. Definitely the best human warmth we feel at home. Thank you, we will be back in the future.
