"The hotel is great, with excellent views. The staffs are attentive and kind. Surrounding of the hotel has no shops. However the hotel has restaurant and bar which could ease our request. Overall I would recommend those looking for nice view, services can consider this hotel."

"Zeer gezellige en mooie accommodatie. Het eten is zeer aangenaam vooral Yak hot pot. De eigenaar en het personeel zorgde goed voor de gasten. Goede suggesties en vriendelijke groeten werden van hen verstrekt. We hoefden niets te doen over de bagage en de taxi. Ze hebben met hen allemaal omgegaan. Ik adviseer dit verblijf oprecht!! Als ik weer naar Mount Siguniang kom, blijf ik hier."

"Location: the hotel is located inside Shuangqiao valley national park. The scenic green bus will alight at the hotel so upon arrival, the bus will stop at the doorstep of the hotel or flag it to get further into the national park. The scenic bus will drive all the way towards the redwood forest which is the end point of the park, around 30-45 mins. I highly encourage to stay inside the scenic area as just a day trip will be too rush, with a few days, you get to acclimatize yourself to avoid altitude sickness and also get to explore each location properly and even trek the boardwalk between the locations instead of taking the bus. As long as you don’t exit the national park, you can still utilize your entry ticket and bus ticket. I have stayed for 3 days and was able to use the same ticket for 3 days which was very worthwhile. Service: there is a young male stuff who is very attentive. As soon as the scenic bus alighted me at the hotel, he came out to receive my bag. Also, when I had difficulties flagging the bus since some of them were already full from passengers at the entrance , he came out from the reception just to help me. Besides him, there’s a young lady (without spectacles) who has also been very helpful and friendly and has helped to stop the scenic bus for boarding. Thank you! Room View: if you are looking for a place to take a break, this will be the best place and it is very quiet and the Mountain View is just right in-front. Facilities: the room is very cosy yet big. There’s a bathtub right infront of the mountain view. Overall, it has been a great stay with a with such an amazing view. Will definitely return for a stay if there’s an opportunity."

"English review (polished & natural): ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If there were 10 stars, I would definitely give this hotel all 10. Honestly, I don’t even know where to begin, because everything was simply amazing. The location is very convenient, close to Shuangqiao Valley. The hotel itself is beautiful and modern. The heating system works quickly and efficiently, keeping the room very warm, which is extremely important in this area. Oxygen is also provided whenever we had health issues due to the altitude — there was truly nothing missing. During our entire trip from Chengdu until arriving here, this was the first time we met a host who spoke excellent English. She was incredibly kind, patient, and caring. Her husband even drove us around after our original booking was already completed. For the next day, I had booked another hotel. Although the room rate was higher, their conditions were unreasonable, and they even refused to provide transportation. Because we are not familiar with the local language, the owner of ShanShangShan Hotel and her husband went out of their way to help us and communicate on our behalf. In the end, ShanShangShan was the one who took care of us and gave us a ride. Now, as I am lying in another hotel writing this review, I truly regret not staying longer at ShanShangShan. The food here was also delicious, and the chef was extremely friendly and lovely. We felt incredibly comfortable, happy, and relaxed during our stay. Every corner of the room was carefully prepared, thoughtful, and very convenient. This hotel is not just a place to stay — it genuinely feels like being taken care of."

"We stayed at this hotel from 17 to 18 May 2025 and had a wonderful experience. The interior design of the room was both beautiful and thoughtfully done, creating a cozy and comfortable atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Every detail in the room reflected care and style, and the amenities provided were complete and well-considered. The hotel’s shared living room was another highlight — tastefully decorated and incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was also a lovely surprise: nicely presented, delicious, and clearly prepared with care. One of the most heartwarming parts of our stay was meeting three friendly furry companions — the owner’s Husky and the two neighbor’s Golden Retriever. All the dogs were gentle and playful, bringing a unique warmth to our stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and kind, always ready to assist with a smile. Overall, this hotel offered not just a place to stay, but a memorable and heartfelt experience. We’d gladly return and highly recommend it to others."

"This place completely exceeded our expectations. The room was incredibly clean and beautifully designed, with a very cozy atmosphere that made us feel relaxed the moment we stepped in. The bed was extremely comfortable we slept so well every night. The view was absolutely stunning. Waking up to such breathtaking scenery every morning was truly unforgettable and made the stay even more special. The service was outstanding. The staff were super friendly, warm, and genuinely caring. They took excellent care of us and were always happy to help. They kindly recommended many delicious local restaurants and shared great tips on beautiful places to visit around Rilong, which made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. The location is also very convenient,staff always bring us to wherever we want to go . Overall, this was an amazing stay, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place in Rilong Town. Highly recommended we would definitely stay here again!"

"Dit was het meest comfortabele pension waar ik tijdens deze reis verbleef! De eigenaar haalde me op in Chengdu toen we in de buurt van de bezienswaardigheid aankwamen. Onze ”gelukstas”-kamer werd geüpgraded naar een kamer met een 270 graden uitzicht op de bergen. De kamer was enorm met een fantastisch uitzicht; ik zag zelfs besneeuwde bergtoppen toen ik vanochtend wakker werd! De vloerverwarming was heerlijk en ze hadden zelfs een luchtbevochtiger neergezet omdat het hier zo droog is! Bij de receptie werd zelfs gratis lotion aangeboden – zo attent! In de badkamer lagen ook wegwerpbare badhanddoeken en washandjes, perfect voor luie reizigers! De eigenaar was ongelooflijk aardig en behulpzaam, hij bracht ons vanochtend zelfs naar de ingang van het Shuangqiaogou-gebied. Ik zal deze warme en attente eigenaar zeker aan al mijn vrienden aanbevelen die een reis naar de Siguniang-berg plannen!"

"This stay was surprisingly amazing, exceeding all expectations. First off, the room was super clean and tidy, and we could see snow-capped mountains from the window. It even had a private hot spring (which the owner meticulously disinfects). Secondly, I have to commend the exceptional service. Even though the staff, especially one lady, was clearly busy, she was incredibly attentive to every detail. When we arrived at the scenic area entrance, the guesthouse driver actually walked over with an umbrella to find our car. Later that evening, I experienced some altitude sickness, and the guesthouse promptly provided oxygen and Coca-Cola. We had hotpot for dinner at the guesthouse, and it was absolutely delicious – easily on par with, if not better than, what we had at Changping Valley the next day. For this price, it's an absolute steal! Highly recommended!"

"Voorzieningen: In principe compleet, met oplaadstations, maar de zuurstofconcentrator maakt wel veel lawaai. Ook zouden de prullenbakken iets groter mogen zijn, vooral een prullenbak bij de wastafel zou handiger zijn. Hygiëne: Erg schoon. Omgeving: Zeer rustige omgeving, met uitzicht op de besneeuwde bergen en de zonsondergang. Service: Het personeel bij de receptie was erg behulpzaam. Ze bieden een gratis shuttleservice naar de Siguniang-berg, een gratis ontbijt en een gratis diner (te bestellen in het restaurant) tegen een zeer redelijke prijs. Na het bestellen bereidde het personeel bij de receptie de ingrediënten voor en liet ons weten wanneer het tijd was om te eten – het voelde als thuis! 🤭"
