"The hotel is super cozy with the mountain view of Changpingou front from your room, very well interior stylist and nicely decorated. Inside is sparkling clean from the bathroom to the lobby area. We really had a great stay and would like to stay more in future. The hotel also offers a daily afternoon set of tea/coffee with seasonal local fruits and snacks. This was the good fulfill after a long day in national park. Also having heated floor, heated mattress, hot tub, daily refill mini bar&snacks&apples, aromatic set of amenities for bathroom and dinner was tasty! The location is 500m away from Changpingou entry and about 30mins by car to Shuangqiaogou which hotel suggest us to take a local taxi and return the fares back. And 1.5km away from bus station. Everything was so perfectly and there is no comment for here only wish them keep this standardized."

"We had a reasonably good stay at this hotel. The room was a good size, clean, lots of media entertainment options on the TV, and the oxygen generator was very much appreciated. The staff were friendly enough. One thing we didn’t like is there are no proper towels - just the disposable paper ones they replace once a day.
The hotel is very close to the entrance of the main valley, which is very convenient. Getting to and from the other valleys might take a little preparation since there is no online taxi service and we mostly had to wait on the roadside for a transport to take us.
We stayed for 3 nights, which was a mistake. There is very little in the area other than the valley entrance, more hotels, and very bad restaurants. There is only one main road in the area which is very loud and dusty: all the hotels are lined up along it. I recommend staying further east in the village by the other valley entrances as there is much more going on and better food choices."

If there were 10 stars, I would definitely give this hotel all 10.
Honestly, I don’t even know where to begin, because everything was simply amazing.
The location is very convenient, close to Shuangqiao Valley. The hotel itself is beautiful and modern. The heating system works quickly and efficiently, keeping the room very warm, which is extremely important in this area. Oxygen is also provided whenever we had health issues due to the altitude — there was truly nothing missing.
During our entire trip from Chengdu until arriving here, this was the first time we met a host who spoke excellent English. She was incredibly kind, patient, and caring. Her husband even drove us around after our original booking was already completed.
For the next day, I had booked another hotel. Although the room rate was higher, their conditions were unreasonable, and they even refused to provide transportation. Because we are not familiar with the local language, the owner of ShanShangShan Hotel and her husband went out of their way to help us and communicate on our behalf. In the end, ShanShangShan was the one who took care of us and gave us a ride.
Now, as I am lying in another hotel writing this review, I truly regret not staying longer at ShanShangShan.
The food here was also delicious, and the chef was extremely friendly and lovely. We felt incredibly comfortable, happy, and relaxed during our stay. Every corner of the room was carefully prepared, thoughtful, and very convenient.
This hotel is not just a place to stay — it genuinely feels like being taken care of."

"Location: the hotel is located inside Shuangqiao valley national park. The scenic green bus will alight at the hotel so upon arrival, the bus will stop at the doorstep of the hotel or flag it to get further into the national park. The scenic bus will drive all the way towards the redwood forest which is the end point of the park, around 30-45 mins. I highly encourage to stay inside the scenic area as just a day trip will be too rush, with a few days, you get to acclimatize yourself to avoid altitude sickness and also get to explore each location properly and even trek the boardwalk between the locations instead of taking the bus. As long as you don’t exit the national park, you can still utilize your entry ticket and bus ticket. I have stayed for 3 days and was able to use the same ticket for 3 days which was very worthwhile.
Service: there is a young male stuff who is very attentive. As soon as the scenic bus alighted me at the hotel, he came out to receive my bag. Also, when I had difficulties flagging the bus since some of them were already full from passengers at the entrance , he came out from the reception just to help me. Besides him, there’s a young lady (without spectacles) who has also been very helpful and friendly and has helped to stop the scenic bus for boarding. Thank you!
Room View: if you are looking for a place to take a break, this will be the best place and it is very quiet and the Mountain View is just right in-front.
Facilities: the room is very cosy yet big. There’s a bathtub right infront of the mountain view.
Overall, it has been a great stay with a with such an amazing view. Will definitely return for a stay if there’s an opportunity."

"Love loveeee this hotel. The view is stunning! The room is very nice and cosy. We had limited option for breakfast as we are eatig halal food. They cooked rice noodle for us. And it tasted good! I was so cold at night they brought portable heater to our room. If you re going during winter, maybe you cam ask them to heat up the room before checking in because the area is sooo cold it takes a while to warm."

Technisch gezien was er een berg, maar de kamer was parkeren en straatzijde dus we hadden een beetje straatgeluid van nacht en morgen. zorg ervoor dat u een kamerzijde boekt. Het personeel was handig, geduldig en helpde ons plannen onze dag!
Grote perken: hoewel het een 20 minuten lopen op een grote weg (soms zonder zijwandeling) kunt u terug te lopen naar het hotel van de stad. Grote verkeersslaap tijdens de oktober vakantie, waardoor het onmogelijk om een taxi te nemen. De wandelingen in de buurt waren de beste die we ooit in China hebben gedaan. De kinderen waren op paarden terwijl we aan hun zijden wandelden. We kochten zuurstof flessen en gebruikten ze schaars. Het was wel leuk en beroerend met kinderen om met zuurstof in de kamer te slapen."

"Jaw-dropping mountain views set the tone for an incredibly romantic early spring stay. Waking up to snow-covered peaks outside our room felt almost unreal, and the restaurant was even more panoramic. The interiors were manicured and cosy with every space designed to frame the surrounding mountains.
The amenities were luxe from the Dyson hair dryer to Havaiana flip flops and Voss water, and the complimentary arrival treats were a lovely touch (the little tea cake was delicious). Breakfast and the hot pot dinner were also great and perfect for the cold mountain weather.
If you’re visiting Mt Siguniang, this is the kind of place that turns the trip into something really special rather than just somewhere to sleep. Highly recommend"

"The newly opened villa B&B in 2026 has no smell of old facilities, and the details are very intimate. Dry and wet separation bathroom, atomized humidifier, direct water dispenser are all available, fully considering the characteristics of the plateau climate. The breakfast is rich and delicious, the service is intimate and thoughtful, and the communication is smooth if there is any problem. Opened in 2023, the Mushan Yingxue Holiday Bieyuan (Siguniangshan Changpinggou Scenic Area) offers travelers a pleasant stay in Xiaojin, whether for business or leisure purposes. With multiple attractions nearby including Giant Panda Hundred Images Thangka Scroll Museum, Zhangpingcun Zonghe Square and Geological Museum, guests will find plenty to keep themselves occupied. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site. If you demand a high level of service, our guests have indicated that this hotel has excellent standards. For guests traveling with groups of friends, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.
"The stay was ok. The hotel staff were not that friendly and helpful. The staff didn't greet us whenever they saw us during our 2 nights stay there. It is a small property and we were probably the only few customers there and yet it felt like we're were strangers to them. There is no elevator and we had to lug our luggage up to the 4th floor where our room was. Likewise we need to carry them down from our room when we checked out. If you need suggestion and information about getting around and what to do, don't hold hope that the staff is able give useful tips, you would have better luck checking the Internet. Breakfast was not ready by 7.30am on our first morning and the choices were limited due to low season. We had some soup noodles which was nice. The room was decently decorated. However, the toilet bowl flush was annoying and flushed by itself and splashed water out onto the floor with the ”faulty” sensor. There is no air conditioning but luckily there was floor heating. However, the heating took extremely long time to heat up. We also had to request them to activate the heater for us even though they knew we were in the room in the cold winter, really lack of sense of good customer service. The hotel is conveniently located about 10 minutes walk from the Changpinggou visitor center. We visited in February, during the low season, 80% of the shops were closed in Changpinggou area so it felt like a dead town. We went to Shuangqiaogou for meals and it seemed livelier there."

"We stayed at this hotel from 17 to 18 May 2025 and had a wonderful experience. The interior design of the room was both beautiful and thoughtfully done, creating a cozy and comfortable atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Every detail in the room reflected care and style, and the amenities provided were complete and well-considered.
The hotel’s shared living room was another highlight — tastefully decorated and incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was also a lovely surprise: nicely presented, delicious, and clearly prepared with care.
One of the most heartwarming parts of our stay was meeting three friendly furry companions — the owner’s Husky and the two neighbor’s Golden Retriever. All the dogs were gentle and playful, bringing a unique warmth to our stay.
The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and kind, always ready to assist with a smile. Overall, this hotel offered not just a place to stay, but a memorable and heartfelt experience. We’d gladly return and highly recommend it to others."

MaoxianshenglvxingrijiAvoid the peak season and friends to punch in Siguniang Mountain, set Changpinggougougou Fangyuan Li 3300 French Mountain Residence, the location is excellent, it is very convenient to go to the scenic spot. Although it is a new store, the overall is well maintained. The butler service is online throughout the whole process, and the parking lot is answered. The large luggage is actively helped to carry. There are Hada, hot tea, welcome fruit and afternoon tea. The details are very warm.
Staying in the viewing pool twin room, floor heating, oxygen supply equipment, highland living comfort is full, toiletries are branded, Dyson hair dryer is a plus. The room has a good view, the private soup pool viewing experience is excellent, clean and quiet, whether it is a friend or a small couple to travel, the overall stay experience is full, highly recommended!

本來打算進結斯溝定的這家，位於理小路上進溝非常方便，老闆熱情，下午到達五點多，詢問哪裡可看日照金山按照老闆指示順利開完進溝前的鋪裝路面看到了金山。晚餐店裡吃的銅鍋氂牛肉湯鍋還不錯的，如果不想自己開車可找老闆幫忙預訂越野車進溝，第二天我們怕高反放棄進溝。

Our stay at Yue Shan Si Ji Yin Su was nothing short of delightful. The moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth — check-in was effortless, and the staff were always kind, cheerful, and ready to help with anything. Their sincerity truly made a difference.
The rooms were spotless, tastefully decorated, and filled with thoughtful touches that made us feel instantly at ease. The entire homestay feels peaceful, beautifully blending modern comfort with the quiet charm of the mountains.
Dinner was another highlight — their chicken and yak hotpot was rich, hearty, and perfect for the chilly evenings. The flavours were authentic and the price very fair — it felt like a comforting hug in a bowl after a cold day outdoors.
We left feeling refreshed and grateful — this place is a hidden gem where hospitality, warmth, and nature meet perfectly. 💛

This inn provided a truly unforgettable experience for us for a 2-night stay! Perched at 3400m, the views were incredible, and the decor fit right in with the nature vibes. Super chill place to relax, with a cafe and bar on-site (coffee is charged separately FYI).
The Good:
Stunning Location & Ambiance: Breathtaking views and a cozy atmosphere. You cant get tired of those views!
Top-Notch Service: Friendly staff took care of everything.
Delicious Food: Amazing hotpot dinners!
We had a nice garden patio to relax in which was quite private (Room 102).
Heads Up:
Altitude Sickness: It's high up (3400m!), so be prepared (they rent oxygen for 60 RMB/night).
Tricky Drive: If you're self-driving, the mountain roads are single-lane and require caution. We had a private driver so it was okay.
Overall, this inn is a gem for a relaxing mountain getaway. Just be mindful of the altitude and driving situation.

ฉันกับเพื่อนรวมทั้งหมด15คน เราจองทั้งหมด6ห้องจากทั้งหมด7ห้อง รถบัสของกลุ่มเราไม่สามารถเข้าถึงที่พักได้ ทางโรงแรมจึงส่งรถไปรับโดยไม่คิดค่าใช้จ่าย แต่พอเช็คเอ้าขาไปส่งโรงแรมคิดค่าใช้จ่าย15คน100หยวน ตอนเช็คอินเพื่อนของฉันจองห้องชั้นบนสุดที่แพงที่สุดแต่โรงแรมเปลี่ยนเป็นห้องราคารองลงมาโดยไม่แจ้งก่อน พอทักท้วงจึงบอกว่าห้องชั้นบนน้ำหยด จากนั้นจึงให้ส่วนลด10%สำหรับห้องนั้นแค่นั้น ส่วนอีกห้องใช้รูปห้องอื่นมาใส่ทำให้เพื่อนเข้าใจผิด ตอนกลางคืนร้อนมากเพราะปรับแอร์ไม่ได้ แม้ข้างนอกจะอากาศหนาว สิ่งที่ชอบที่สุดคือน้องหมาโกลเด้นที่แสนน่ารัก

Voorzieningen: In principe compleet, met oplaadstations, maar de zuurstofconcentrator maakt wel veel lawaai. Ook zouden de prullenbakken iets groter mogen zijn, vooral een prullenbak bij de wastafel zou handiger zijn.
Hygiëne: Erg schoon.
Omgeving: Zeer rustige omgeving, met uitzicht op de besneeuwde bergen en de zonsondergang.
Service: Het personeel bij de receptie was erg behulpzaam. Ze bieden een gratis shuttleservice naar de Siguniang-berg, een gratis ontbijt en een gratis diner (te bestellen in het restaurant) tegen een zeer redelijke prijs. Na het bestellen bereidde het personeel bij de receptie de ingrediënten voor en liet ons weten wanneer het tijd was om te eten – het voelde als thuis! 🤭

The hotel is nicely located.
If you walk out you are directly at picture Nr 2: a street with a lot of Restaurants and small supermarkets. So your breakfast, lunch or dinner are just a few steps away.
400m down you can find the ticketoffice where you can buy the entrance and take the Shuttlebus directly to Changping Valley. An amazing day trip.
The staff helped us organise the bus back to Chengdu, and is generally helpfull, but there was a language barrier so better check twice if things are getting lost in translation. ;)
The room is decent. The Blankets are thick so you dont freeze.
But the room wasn't 100% clean and we found some big peanut leftovers on the nightstand and some dust here or there.
In conclusion:
If you are looking for value for your money i'd recommend this Hotel.
But if you have high Standards you should keep looking.
