My family and I totally enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean and amenities are really good. The service staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. The location is actually very good for tourist because it is very convenient to assess a lot of food and photo taking sceneries. The thing is, it is not exactly easy to find the taxi will only send you to a place nearby and then you would have to figure out how to go to the hotel. There are some rooms on the second level so it might be a bit tiring to climb up the stairs but we were fortunate to get rooms on the ground floor with a courtyard view. Do look out for mosquitoes but there are mosquito repellent provided. Breakfast is also provided, we had noodles and some condiments. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel. His proactive approach and genuine enthusiasm made us feel like VIPs. The suite itself was a standout: sleek modern design blended with subtle Suzhou-inspired elements, while the lake-view bathroom offered breathtaking vistas day and night. Scott even arranged a private stroll along the lakeside and recommended hidden gems nearby. I stayed at Suzhou Liuxiang Hotel and booked the Refreshing Double Bed room, which was a very comfortable and pleasant stay. The room was clean, bright, and well maintained, with a comfortable bed and effective air-conditioning which is perfect after a long day of walking around Suzhou. The location is a major highlight, situated between Guanqian Street and Pingjiang Road, making it extremely convenient for shopping, sightseeing, and exploring local food spots. Many attractions and eateries are within walking distance. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it offers great value for money and is a solid choice for travelers who want comfort, cleanliness, and a central location in Suzhou.

I had a wonderful stay at Wenlv Gusu Yard Donghuali. It’s more of a charming 民宿 than a traditional hotel, and that’s exactly what makes the experience so special. The service was exceptional. We had very heavy luggages, and the staff immediately offered to help us carry them up the stairs to our rooms. If you order food delivery, the staff will also kindly bring it straight to your room, and they were consistently helpful with any of our requests. They also prepare a healthy and delicious breakfast every morning, which was a lovely way to start the day. The location can be a little inconvenient at first as the 民宿 is tucked deep inside a quiet lane, but once you get oriented, you’ll find that it is actually very close to many popular attractions. We appreciated the balance - peaceful surroundings while still being within walking distance of key sights. Our room was clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, with beautiful views of the courtyard. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring.

有咖啡館又有烘培坊的酒店，還是太全面了！ 設施都很新，第一次見可愛的小木梳子，好好用～房間裏很亮堂，整潔無異味，電視也特別大，床品很親膚，有浴袍和徠芬吹風機提供。 服務很周到，因為有工作任務一直在忙，咖啡和麪包都可以點好給我送到房間，有什麼需要都會及時幫忙解決，很貼心。 金雞湖太美啦，來看話劇的，酒店位置就在蘇州文化藝術中心旁邊，走幾步路就到了，早晚風景都很好，還會再來的！

We had a wonderful stay at Novotel Suzhou, even though it was only for one night. We were celebrating our 16th anniversary and were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a suite. The room was spacious, spotless, and extremely comfortable. A special thank you to Daisy and her team—your service and hospitality were truly appreciated. Breakfast was delicious, with a great variety that included some lovely Western options. I also accidentally left a few items behind, and the staff responded immediately and helpfully, arranging for everything to be couriered back to me without any hassle. Thank you once again for an excellent experience. We will definitely be returning!

Faciliteiten: De faciliteiten zijn geweldig. Zodra u binnenkomt, voelt u de zorg van de ontwerper. De douche, het toilet en de wastafel zijn allemaal apart, zodat een gezin hier zonder enige impact op het gebruik kan verblijven. Hygiëne: Zorgvuldig schoongemaakt Omgeving: Het hotel is prachtig ingericht in antieke stijl met kenmerken van Suzhou. Het heeft een mooi aangelegde tuin, biedt bij elke stap een nieuw uitzicht en heeft zeer goede verlichting. Service: De service was erg hartelijk, de mooie dame bij de receptie was attent en attent, en ze bood ons ook gratis afternoon tea aan en de gebakjes waren heerlijk. Het algemene gevoel is heel goed. Suzhou heeft prachtige mensen en een prachtig landschap. Ik kom de volgende keer zeker weer. Ik raad het iedereen aan.

We were looking forward to our stay here and suffice to say, it did not disappoint. Location was great and it's located along Pingjiang Road. It made for a very convenient stroll at anytime of the day. We wanted to experience the street at its busiest to the quiet in the middle of the night once shops close and tourists leave. The sound of light footsteps and wheels rolling against cobbled path during the break of dawn to lightly stir you from your sleep were strangely soothing and nice to wake up to. Pillows were a lil soft to our liking but each to their own. We had a great stay nonetheless.

We booked two great little rooms here on the main floor. One of them was GORGEOUS and had a little balcony that you could sit in the sun in the morning. The other room was clean and tidy but more basic. The owner was so nice. He answered all my questions on WeChat, waited up for us in the evening to let us in and helped store our bags the next morning when we went for a walk. **NOTE: to enter the old town you will need to pay 100 rmb per person if entering before 5:00 PM. If you plan on staying here keep this in mind. If you’re wanting to explore the city that day then great! You can walk around and see the attractions. Otherwise, wait until after 5:00 PM to check in.
