"Ik kwam met mijn vrienden naar Leshan en koos voor een tweepersoonskamer met tuinbad. Over het algemeen was ik tevreden. Faciliteiten: Ik moet de kussens prijzen, de ene is zacht en de andere is geschikt om te slapen. Iedereen wil er een kopen en mee naar huis nemen. Hygiëne: De hygiëne is zeer goed en zeer schoon. Een wegwerpbadhoes is speciaal gemaakt voor het bad, wat handig, schoon en hygiënisch is. Omgeving: De kleine tuin is erg mooi, de planten bij de deur passen perfect bij de decoratiestijl en het is erg leuk om foto's te maken. Service: Goede servicegerichtheid, enthousiast en responsief. Iedereen zei dat ze hier graag zouden willen blijven de volgende keer dat ze naar Leshan komen. Het enige wat ik hoop te verbeteren is dat het ontbijt rijker kan zijn hahaha😝"

"The hotel is really well located. right by the river and within walking distance of the entrance to The Giant Buddha. The room is ok, quite large with a view of the river, but everything is a bit worn. The staff is not very welcoming and it is a shame because it would have made the experience much better."

"Very good service from the front desk even though we are only staying for one night. 向样，小何 & 杨淋 really try their best to satisfy their customers and make them feel at home. We got upgraded to a river view room and the view was fantastic! As our train is only departing near to 5pm, we requested for a late check out. To my surprise, they really did their best to accommodate and we only checked out at 3.30pm. A big thank you for their gracious accomodation to our request 👍👍👍 Highly recommended to stay there."

"Ik heb 5 dagen in Sichuan doorgebracht en in 4 hotels verbleven. Deze is het meest bevredigend en bevredigend! 1. De omgeving is zeer comfortabel. De auto was bij de winkel aangekomen en een aantal jonge dames haastten zich naar buiten om de bagage te dragen, thee en water in te schenken en vragen te beantwoorden. Speciale complimenten aan Xiao Huang, onze spullen waren achtergelaten in het hotel. We hebben contact met haar opgenomen en ze heeft ze meteen gevonden en gratis naar ons opgestuurd, geweldig. Suiker is ook goed. De andere obers bij de receptie en in het restaurant waren erg vriendelijk. 4. Het buffet in het restaurant is erg goed. Wij hadden een buffet dat niet inbegrepen was en in plaats daarvan kregen we een ontbijt. Vind ik leuk 👍. Het ontbijt is heerlijk en bestaat voornamelijk uit vegetarische gerechten, met onder andere koffie, melk, sojamelk, brood, fruit, pasta, etc. Het past bij de smaak van ons Kantonese volk. Ik hou van maïskoekjes. Al met al zal ik dit hotel zeker weer kiezen de volgende keer dat ik naar Leshan ga en overweeg om er 2 nachten te verblijven. Ik vind het heerlijk om 's avonds na het avondeten een wandeling te maken langs het bospad en 's ochtends ga ik graag buiten hardlopen, luisterend naar het gezang van de vogels en de geur van de bloemen."

"Brilliant hotel. We had our own onsen in the room, they provide jasmine tea to add to the water which is great for your skin. Close to the station and there’s a massive mall within walking distance. We needed help tracking down some lost luggage at the train station. The manager went out of his way to help contact the station and follow up with them later in the day. His English was superb. Fantastic service! Highly recommend staying here."

Though the space inside room for dining is very limited, they have a nice common dining area with view to the river. The welcome fruit platter was lovely and the breakfast was hearty. Also enjoyed the free laundry room! Had my clothes washed and dried within hours (the washing machine has built-in in detergent dispenser). "Close to the train station (within 5 minutes walk), clean and comfortable. There is a Lawson at the first level and noodles shops as well. About 5 minute ride to Shi hao shopping area for more food options and shopping. The bathtub is a nice touch as well. There is free laundry and dryer as well. Will stay again!"

GGastgebruikerOnverwacht perfect. De eigenaar van de B&B moet een kunstenaar zijn die verstand heeft van esthetiek. De B&B ligt halverwege de berg Emei. U moet vanaf de voet van de berg met de auto naar de B&B. Deze B&B ligt op een geweldige locatie, omringd door bergen. U kunt direct voor de deur een sightseeingbus naar de Golden Summit nemen. Faciliteiten: De badkamers zijn allemaal van het merk Kohler en de toiletartikelen zijn van Guanxia, met een zeer elegante geur. Hygiëne: Schoon, met vloerverwarming Omgeving: De omgeving van Mount Emei is zo prachtig. De geografische ligging, het exterieurontwerp en de binnenhuisdecoratie van de B&B zijn allemaal fantastisch. Wie hoge eisen stelt aan de smaak van de B&B, kan hier volledig aan voldoen. Service: De butler voegt WeChat vooraf toe en beantwoordt geduldig verschillende vragen. Het allerbelangrijkste is dat het eten dat de chef-kok van deze B&B kookt, overheerlijk is. We brachten twee dagen door op Mount Emei en wilden graag de speciale hapjes van Mount Emei aan de voet van de berg eten, maar we waren te moe om de berg af te lopen. We hebben dus twee keer gegeten bij de B&B en alle gerechten smaakten erg goed. Speciaal geschikt voor uw mond. Het is geschikt voor zowel de zuiderlingen als de noorderlingen. De chef-kok is absoluut professioneel. Het ontbijt is klein maar uitstekend, met allerlei kleine noedels en wontons die bijzonder lekker zijn. De volgende keer dat je naar Mount Emei komt, verblijf ik in onze B&B.

GGastgebruikerthe stay was so so good! firstly, before our arrival date, the hotel contacted us on both trip.com & wechat, so our transport to the hotel from emeishan station was smooth. check-in was fuss free as well, and the front office lady xiaoshi was kind, warm, and gave us tips for our trip up emei. we could borrow the hanfu and took pictures in the yard and around the hotel. the facilities were clean, nice, and overall really cosy. breakfast was really good too. and if you prefer to go up the mountain earlier, the hotel will also prepare some light takeaways for you, and thats super thoughtful i’ve read reviews that the location was not as good as those around baoguo; but since we were travelling as a family, this place was peaceful, slightly quieter and very near huangwan visitor centre! To me this was equally as good as hotels that are around baoguo. the trip up emei mountain was quick and fuss free as well, since I got the tickets and boarded the bus from huangwan (about a 5-7 mins walk away from the hotel) which is not much different from baoguo. will definitely stay here again if im visiting this area :))

LLanJiangWe initially chose Pure Cloud Hotel for its proximity to Wuxiangang Bus Station and its recent opening. The drive up the narrow mountain road, full of sharp turns, was a bit unsettling for our city Didi driver, so we were secretly relieved (as was our driver) when we finally arrived. At first glance, the hotel seemed quite simple, and I wasn’t entirely sure I had made the right choice. However, any lingering doubts were quickly washed away by the warm welcome from Derek, the hotel manager, and the staff. When we got to our room, it was pure joy! The minimalist design is visually soothing, and the balcony with its expansive mountain views made us feel like just hanging around and doing nothing was more than enough. If you're the kind of traveler who feels guilty about not doing anything, rest assured that the hotel is in a beautiful section of the mountain. There's a lovely old temple and a sacred spring pond nearby—Zhongfeng Temple and Shenshui Pavilion, I believe. You’ll also enjoy the energy of hikers rushing up and down the mountain. There are enough people to make it lively but not overwhelmingly crowded like Leidongping or Jinding, where the crowds can be exhausting. A special mention goes to Derek, who exceeded all our expectations. His kindness and professionalism reminded me of the kind of service you expect from a six-star hotel, where every need is anticipated. Derek went above and beyond, making our journey to Golden Summit and onward to Leshan much smoother and more enjoyable. Since we speak minimal Chinese, he kindly helped us communicate with the next hotel, explaining how to get there. He even offered us a free ride to the bus station when we struggled to find a Didi in the area. Derek also helped arrange our transfer to Leshan. We were incredibly impressed and grateful for his assistance. If I had to suggest one area for improvement, I’d say the dinner options could use some enhancement to match the overall excellence of the stay. A small tip: If your goal is to catch the sunrise and sunset at Golden Summit, you'll need to stay at one of the mountaintop hotels near Jinding. Logistically, getting to these hotels involves taking a bus from Baoguosi or Wuxiangang Station to Leidongping, then a cable car to the upper platform, followed by a roughly one-hour hike with steep steps to Jinding. It's manageable with a backpack, but not ideal with large luggage. That’s why we chose Pure Cloud Hotel for its close proximity to Wuxiangang Bus Station, leaving our luggage there and heading up the mountain with just our backpacks.

GGastgebruikerService: First of all, we arrived at Emeishan Station at 9 a.m. and had booked the pick-up service in advance. The hotel butler came to pick us up in a business vehicle. Although the hotel is just a few minutes’ drive away, this thoughtful service greatly enhanced the overall experience. Le Méridien Emeishan is positioned as a resort hotel with over 300 rooms. Since we arrived quite early, we initially thought we’d have to wait until the afternoon to check in. However, the hotel had available rooms and kindly allowed us to check in right away. The butler even gave us two cups of coffee and drove us around in a sightseeing cart to show us different room types. Although we had only booked a standard room, they upgraded us to a lake-view room with beautiful scenery. We really appreciate the hotel’s excellent service! Additionally, the butler gave us 10 bottles of water upon check-in, which was more than enough—no need to call for more during our stay. Facilities: The hotel grounds are quite large, and the buildings are low-rise. Guests staying in Building 2 may need to walk about six to seven minutes to their rooms. The hotel offers a lobby bar, reading lounge, gym, hot spring pool, swimming pool, and kids’ play area. The facilities are generally comprehensive, though the entertainment options may feel a bit limited for a resort hotel. The children’s play area includes simple slides, swings, and a small ball pit—fairly modest in scale. Location: About 2 km from Baoguo Temple and close to the shuttle bus station for Emei Mountain. Very convenient. Breakfast: Abundant and delicious, with the option to dine outdoors in a beautiful setting. Environment: The hotel is located next to Exiu Lake, surrounded by a scenic park with views of the Golden Summit (Jinding). The environment inside the hotel is also pleasant—perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. Overall: The highlight of this hotel is its outstanding service, which is undoubtedly the most important aspect for a resort. It would be even better if the facilities were more varied.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the professional and welcoming staff, setting the tone for a perfect visit. Due to some logistics, the hotel generously offered us a free room upgrade. The room itself was exceptionally good—spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean. The entire property is stunning, featuring beautiful ancient Chinese architecture that provides a charming, rustic feel while still offering all the comforts you could need. The service was a highlight of our trip. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help us. We also thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, especially the delicious noodles which were a perfect start to our day. To top off the amazing service, the hotel arranged for someone to see us back to the Emeishan railway station and even kindly paid for our fare. This level of care and generosity is rare to find. We will definitely be coming back for another visit and highly recommend this gem to anyone traveling to the area!

The restaurant was closed when we were there, so called gym does not exist at all, swimming pool is small like a pond and the bigger one is for kids. There is no garden or anything that covers the road and the bridge you can hear easily while staying down the swimming pool. The big bonus is the bathroom- big and modern exactly like on the picture and the spring water hot tub that works well and can create a great time during the night as you can hear the river. Light system is amazing. You can find any light that you need to set up a mood. People are very nice and friendly. The front desk does not have ‘ business card’ and location of the hotel was written down on a paper. Really little things that shows this place has a potential but not in the current set up. You can’t lock the room door when you are not inside- only the garden gate. Who would design such a thing? I know it’s a safe destination but still. There is no safe either. People create this place special but it does not meet a high standard resort score.

GGastgebruikerCleanliness and location are good, and this hotel has the potential to be an excellent place to stay if it can improve in the following areas: 1. Power outlets: Please consider providing alternative outlet types such as Type C (two round pins) to better cater to international guests. The current Type I and A outlets are more suited to local use. Emeishan was my final stop after visiting Chongqing, Yichang, Enshi, Chengdu, and Gaoping — and all those places provided Type C outlets. Because of this, I was unable to charge my phone here. Although the front desk staff eventually helped me with charging (somewhat reluctantly), I believe hotel staff should proactively offer assistance in such cases. Good service is essential in the hospitality industry and is what gives a hotel a competitive edge. 2. Bathroom hangers: At present, the only option is the grab bar inside the shower cubicle, which is impractical since clothes get wet during showers. Proper hooks or hangers in a dry area of the bathroom would be much more useful. 3. Bathroom amenities: Providing a floor towel (bath mat) would allow guests to dry their feet before stepping out of the bathroom, adding comfort and safety. 4. Storage: Instead of only a few wall hooks, a proper hanging closet or wardrobe would greatly improve convenience for guests. 5. Luggage storage: A luggage rack should be provided so guests do not have to leave their bags on the floor. These may seem like small issues individually, but together they significantly affect the overall guest experience. I share this feedback not as a complaint, but in the hope that it will help the hotel improve for future guests.

GGastgebruikerDe kamer is schoon en netjes, het bed is zacht en comfortabel om in te slapen, stil, de service is warm en attent, het warme mineraalwater dat het meisje bij de receptie geeft is erg hartverwarmend en het ligt heel dicht bij de eetstraat, die heerlijk is. Ik kom de volgende keer weer naar Leshan. Zal het Southern Hotel nog steeds mijn eerste keuze zijn? Er wordt ook een buffet voor drie maaltijden per dag aangeboden, wat erg attent is. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

EEllen vdsMijn hiking trip naar Emeishan was fantastisch maar ik zou dit hotel niet aanraden. In het begin was de communicatie met het hotelpersoneel moeizaam maar via een app en mijn beperkt Chinees lukte het om elkaar te begrijpen. Dus helemaal OK. Als je geen Chinees kan, zou ik absoluut dit hotel niet nemen. Kamer was wat gedateerd voor een 5 sterren hotel en ik had een kamer geboekt met uitzicht op de bergen maar kreeg uitzicht op gebouwen (geen berg te zien). Op zich ook niet erg gezien ik de hele dag naar de top van Emeishan ging hiken. Maar het ontbijt en service daar was verschrikkelijk en geen 5 sterren hotel waardig. Het personeel was heel onvriendelijk en deden geen enkele poging om mij te begrijpen en wilden enkel praten in (heel snel) Chinees. Het ontbijt was zogenaamd Westers/Chinees maar het westerse gedeelte was frieten en/of hashbrown(?). Niemand boven de 12 jaar wordt gelukkig van frieten bij het ontbijt. Ook was al veel eten weg en (bijna) niets werd aangevuld. Nochtans was het ontbijt zogezegd nog 1,5 uur open. Teleurstellend. Gelukkig wel een fantastische dag naar Emeishan gehad!

GGuest UserChoosing this hotel for our trip to Leshan was the best decision. It's ideally suited for families traveling with parents. The family room had spacious beds (both the large and small ones), and the room itself was very clean. The river view rooms boast fantastic scenery, and the third floor also offers beautiful night views. Its excellent location meant my parents could easily take leisurely strolls along the river in both the morning and evening.
