"De kamer was erg schoon en het beddengoed was zeer comfortabel. Ik ben direct na mijn reis vanuit Jiuzhaigou naar Leshan gegaan. Dit hotel gaf me een heel warm gevoel. De dag voor aankomst nam mijn butler, Alice, contact met me op om me lokale restaurants en bezienswaardigheden aan te bevelen en zelfs naar mijn kamervoorkeuren te vragen – erg attent. Bij aankomst hielp iemand me met mijn bagage en bracht die naar mijn kamer – iets wat veel vijfsterrenhotels tegenwoordig niet meer doen. Voordat ik vertrok, heb ik in het restaurant gegeten en hoewel de chef-kok al klaar was met werken, werd hij teruggeroepen om gestoofde paling uit Linjiang voor me te maken – ik was echt ontroerd; het eten was heerlijk. Er lag zelfs een welkomstgeschenk klaar bij het uitchecken! Wauw, ik kan dit hotel van harte aanbevelen! Serieus, ik zal voortaan alleen nog maar in het Crowne Plaza verblijven als ik naar Leshan ga. "Mijn hiking trip naar Emeishan was fantastisch maar ik zou dit hotel niet aanraden. In het begin was de communicatie met het hotelpersoneel moeizaam maar via een app en mijn beperkt Chinees lukte het om elkaar te begrijpen. Dus helemaal OK. Als je geen Chinees kan, zou ik absoluut dit hotel niet nemen. Kamer was wat gedateerd voor een 5 sterren hotel en ik had een kamer geboekt met uitzicht op de bergen maar kreeg uitzicht op gebouwen (geen berg te zien). Op zich ook niet erg gezien ik de hele dag naar de top van Emeishan ging hiken. Maar het ontbijt en service daar was verschrikkelijk en geen 5 sterren hotel waardig. Het personeel was heel onvriendelijk en deden geen enkele poging om mij te begrijpen en wilden enkel praten in (heel snel) Chinees. Het ontbijt was zogenaamd Westers/Chinees maar het westerse gedeelte was frieten en/of hashbrown(?). Niemand boven de 12 jaar wordt gelukkig van frieten bij het ontbijt. Ook was al veel eten weg en (bijna) niets werd aangevuld. Nochtans was het ontbijt zogezegd nog 1,5 uur open. Teleurstellend. Gelukkig wel een fantastische dag naar Emeishan gehad!"

Locatie: Het hotel ligt in het natuurgebied en er is een shuttlebus die u ophaalt bij de ingang van het natuurgebied. Je loopt 800 meter naar de toegangspoort van Leshan Giant Buddha, wat je het gevoel geeft een gebouw met water binnen te gaan.
Kenmerken: Rustig hotel, maar vriendelijk voor kinderen en honden, met een groot hart. Je kunt in de winter een bad nemen en in de zomer zwemmen. Hoewel je er in de lente niet van kunt genieten, is het uitzicht op de rivier prachtig en het uitzicht op de binnenplaats prachtig.
Service: De broeders en zusters zijn attent en onberispelijk. De service is vergelijkbaar met die in Japan. Ik wil meedoen aan diverse Bijbelkopieer- en andere projecten.
Kamer: ruim, mooi, uniek, ik vind het erg leuk. Ik hoop dat de graffiti op de pilaren in de kamer zo snel mogelijk kan worden aangepakt, aangezien dit de reputatie van het hotel aantast.
Ik wil echt niet meer weg als ik hier eenmaal ben. Ik raad het aan aan vrienden die van vakanties en natuur houden. Niet aan te raden als je haast hebt, het zal je heel erg spijten als je weggaat."

"Een echte aanrader! Een uitzonderlijke ervaring! Ontdek het Wyndham Hotel, een icoon in Leshan! Het hotel is gunstig gelegen nabij openbaar vervoer en voorzieningen, omgeven door winkelgebieden, vlakbij het hogesnelheidsstation en direct naast Shihao Plaza en Ito Yokado. Wanda Plaza ligt op slechts vijf minuten afstand.
De lobby van het hotel is ruim, het personeel is vriendelijk en attent, de kamers zijn goed ontworpen met veel natuurlijk licht, het beddengoed is zacht en comfortabel, de badkamer is schoon en netjes en de geluidsisolatie is uitstekend. Het hotel beschikt over een eigen parkeerplaats, wat erg handig is voor gasten met een auto.
Dit verblijf was werkelijk onberispelijk. Ik was zeer tevreden over de service, de omgeving en de faciliteiten. Ik zal zeker weer voor dit hotel kiezen en raad het iedereen van harte aan!"

"I'm so impressed with this hotel/resort. It gives the vibe of luxury and comfortability. Its location is so close to Emeishan Railway Station. If you don't carry big luggage, you could wait for the bus Line 13. It's only four bus stops away, opposite a gas/patrol station. For me, I boarded a taxi from the train station and the hotel paid for it.
The staff were wonderful and helpful to me. As I don't speak Chinese, they were eager to help, using the mobile translation app, to make sure my stay was comfortable and convenient.
The room I stayed in was huge, with two queen size beds, decorated to accommodate a family with children. I love the big private bath tub next to a wide window, allowing you to enjoy the view. It's clearly designed for families with young children. There was even a big giant teddy bear and a tipi in the middle of the room for kids to enjoy.
The hotel also has a full size swimming pool. Unfortunately, I didn't get to use it as I spent a lot of time in my huge private bath tub.
I want to give special thanks to Ms. ”Little Horse” for being so welcoming and helpful. She even gave me a bottle of drinking water when I checked out and arranged a taxi for me returning to the train station. Impressive!"

We got upgraded to a river view room and the view was fantastic!
As our train is only departing near to 5pm, we requested for a late check out. To my surprise, they really did their best to accommodate and we only checked out at 3.30pm.

"De kamer was schoon, netjes en ruim. De locatie is perfect, direct naast het treinstation naar Mount Emei.
's Nachts is het er erg rustig, met weelderig groen voor het raam en stralende zon in de ochtend.
We vonden de warmwaterbronnen en het waterpark voor de kinderen geweldig, wat fantastisch was. Het kinderpark en de warmwaterbronnen liggen allebei vlakbij, waardoor het een geweldige plek is voor zowel volwassenen als kinderen.
Onze huishoudster, Chenchen, voegde ons bij aankomst toe via WeChat, zodat we hem altijd konden bereiken met vragen. Hij hielp ons ook vooraf met het regelen van een shuttle naar het station. De service overtrof onze verwachtingen! Hoewel dit hotel een oud staatshotel is, is de service modern en comfortabel. Bedankt, Chenchen!

"This is the hotel you should go to if you want good onsen facilities and great views from your room.
The hotel staff were all friendly and meticulous. There were even lifeguards on duty at the heated swimming pools for both indoor and outdoor.
Though it wasn't a private onsen room, the onsen facilities were easy to navigate to, and the room came with beautiful views.
Their onsen facilities were clean, and came with a wide variety. The hotel had temperature indicated for each onsen, and all indoor onsen pools had different herbal onsens. The outdoor onsen pools were pretty interesting and fun too. One was for kids that came with a water play feature, the other one was a swirly pool for adults (the swirls were pretty strong, so make sure your child is supervised by an adult at all times).
The changing rooms were also spacious and clean.
There's also a vendor in the indoor heated pool and onsen area selling snacks and drinks. You have the option of sitting and lounging around with the tables and lounging chairs available.
Our hotel room was very spacious and clean for our family of four. There are restaurants and convenience stores right beside the hotel, so meals and purchases were very convenient.
The hotel restaurant and breakfast was alright, though not fantastic compared to better food choices in Chengdu.
The hotel location is fantastic as it was just a 10-15 mins drive away to the entrance of Emeishan.
Overall, though it was only a one night stay, we had a great experience and time here."

GGastgebruikerOnverwacht perfect. De eigenaar van de B&B moet een kunstenaar zijn die verstand heeft van esthetiek. De B&B ligt halverwege de berg Emei. U moet vanaf de voet van de berg met de auto naar de B&B. Deze B&B ligt op een geweldige locatie, omringd door bergen. U kunt direct voor de deur een sightseeingbus naar de Golden Summit nemen.
Faciliteiten: De badkamers zijn allemaal van het merk Kohler en de toiletartikelen zijn van Guanxia, met een zeer elegante geur.
Hygiëne: Schoon, met vloerverwarming
Omgeving: De omgeving van Mount Emei is zo prachtig. De geografische ligging, het exterieurontwerp en de binnenhuisdecoratie van de B&B zijn allemaal fantastisch. Wie hoge eisen stelt aan de smaak van de B&B, kan hier volledig aan voldoen.
Service: De butler voegt WeChat vooraf toe en beantwoordt geduldig verschillende vragen.
Het allerbelangrijkste is dat het eten dat de chef-kok van deze B&B kookt, overheerlijk is. We brachten twee dagen door op Mount Emei en wilden graag de speciale hapjes van Mount Emei aan de voet van de berg eten, maar we waren te moe om de berg af te lopen. We hebben dus twee keer gegeten bij de B&B en alle gerechten smaakten erg goed. Speciaal geschikt voor uw mond. Het is geschikt voor zowel de zuiderlingen als de noorderlingen. De chef-kok is absoluut professioneel. Het ontbijt is klein maar uitstekend, met allerlei kleine noedels en wontons die bijzonder lekker zijn.
De volgende keer dat je naar Mount Emei komt, verblijf ik in onze B&B.

GGastgebruikerToen ik deze keer naar de berg Emei ging, koos ik voor deze Zen-bergresidentie waar lokale staatsgasten werden ontvangen! De algehele indeling van de kamer is rustig en elegant. Er is een eigen warmwaterbron in de kamer, die u zelf kunt gebruiken! Ook de faciliteiten en uitrusting sluiten aan bij de behoeften van een staatsgastenhotel: eenvoudig en duidelijk, schoon en comfortabel! Ook de ontbijtomgeving en gerechten sluiten aan bij de gaststijl, met lokale kenmerken, er zijn niet veel mensen en het is er rustig! Ook de service is goed, het personeel is goed opgeleid en er is ook een haal- en brengservice vanaf het hogesnelheidstreinstation! De warmwaterbron in de kamer is ook een unieke minerale warmwaterbron op de berg Emei, en het voelt goed nadat je erin hebt gedompeld! Je kunt ook naar de warmwaterbronclub tegenover Gebouw 7 gaan om het te ervaren! De omgeving van het hotel is ook goed. Je kunt in het hotel genieten van het uitzicht op het meer. Over het algemeen zijn de omgeving, de locatie, de service, de kamers en de warmwaterbronnen allemaal opnieuw een bezoek waard!

XxchzqxyzDeze accommodatie overtrof mijn verwachtingen ruimschoots. Het is zowel een staatsgastenverblijf als een resort voor ontspanning. Het hotel is enorm groot en verspreid over verschillende heuvels. Er rijden pendelbussen om je van A naar B te brengen, anders ben je flink aan het wandelen! Het hotel heeft een rijke geschiedenis, met onder andere het gebouw waar Chiang Kai-shek en zijn vrouw verbleven tijdens de oorlog, en de Maarschalken-gebouwen waar figuren als Zhu De verbleven. Het hotel heeft bergen, meren, bossen, warmwaterbronnen en heerlijk eten. De luchtkwaliteit is fantastisch, een perfecte plek om de longen te reinigen. De service is attent en hartelijk. Ik heb hier 3 dagen gelogeerd en 3 dagen genoten van de warmwaterbronnen. Ik wilde eigenlijk niet meer weg!

SShixiaoyuerneDit hotel overtrof echt mijn verwachtingen, van de service tot de kamer, tot de omgeving tot de maaltijden, ik denk dat het echt het plafond is van de hotels waar ik heb verbleven.
Dank aan Xiao Liu voor het sturen van het station naar het hotel, en ook zeer dankbaar aan de persoonlijke butler, Tangtang, voor het positief beantwoorden en oplossen van eventuele vragen. Toen ik incheckte, kreeg ik een gratis upgrade. .
Het doel van mijn komst naar Emei was om de berg Emei te beklimmen, en omdat ik vanaf de Baoguo-tempel wilde wandelen, moest ik heel vroeg vertrekken. Nadat Tangtang hiervan op de hoogte was, heeft ze speciaal de weg voorbereid zodat het restaurant zich voor mij kon voorbereiden !
Wat ik het leukste vind, zijn de maaltijden van het hotel. Het ontbijt is gratis, erg rijk en lekker, omdat ik te lui ben om naar het hotel te gaan (de hotelomgeving is te comfortabel), eet ik twee nachten in het restaurant van het hotel. Het eten in het restaurant is echt heerlijk, en de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding vind ik persoonlijk erg hoog!
Ik hou zelden zo van een hotel, ik ben zelfs bereid om nog een keer naar Emei te komen voor dit hotel

First of all, we arrived at Emeishan Station at 9 a.m. and had booked the pick-up service in advance. The hotel butler came to pick us up in a business vehicle. Although the hotel is just a few minutes’ drive away, this thoughtful service greatly enhanced the overall experience.
Le Méridien Emeishan is positioned as a resort hotel with over 300 rooms. Since we arrived quite early, we initially thought we’d have to wait until the afternoon to check in. However, the hotel had available rooms and kindly allowed us to check in right away. The butler even gave us two cups of coffee and drove us around in a sightseeing cart to show us different room types. Although we had only booked a standard room, they upgraded us to a lake-view room with beautiful scenery. We really appreciate the hotel’s excellent service!
Additionally, the butler gave us 10 bottles of water upon check-in, which was more than enough—no need to call for more during our stay.
Facilities:
The hotel grounds are quite large, and the buildings are low-rise. Guests staying in Building 2 may need to walk about six to seven minutes to their rooms. The hotel offers a lobby bar, reading lounge, gym, hot spring pool, swimming pool, and kids’ play area. The facilities are generally comprehensive, though the entertainment options may feel a bit limited for a resort hotel. The children’s play area includes simple slides, swings, and a small ball pit—fairly modest in scale.
Location:
About 2 km from Baoguo Temple and close to the shuttle bus station for Emei Mountain. Very convenient.
Breakfast:
Abundant and delicious, with the option to dine outdoors in a beautiful setting.
Environment:
The hotel is located next to Exiu Lake, surrounded by a scenic park with views of the Golden Summit (Jinding). The environment inside the hotel is also pleasant—perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway.
Overall:
The highlight of this hotel is its outstanding service, which is undoubtedly the most important aspect for a resort. It would be even better if the facilities were more varied.

GGastgebruikerIt was good but the bathroom had a bit of a weird smell, kind of like the smell of sewage. The smell of incense was also very strong but they were kind enough to review it. The hotel is in a super convenient spot and you can walk 10 minutes to the tourist center or to the front gate of the Leshan Giant Buddha park. It's especially pretty at night and convenient to do the night time Buddha tour!

Achtergrond: Afgelopen zomer heb ik mijn standaard tweepersoonskamer (meer dan 1200 RMB) geüpgraded naar een kamer met een extra groot tweepersoonsbed.
Mijn eigen ervaring: Ik ben nogal kieskeurig wat hotels betreft, maar ik hecht ook waarde aan een goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding. Ik heb in veel goede hotels verbleven, zowel in binnen- als buitenland, en de afgelopen jaren heb ik vooral in gezinsvriendelijke hotels overnacht.
Hotelfaciliteiten: Om eerlijk te zijn, de architectuur en de tuin van het hotel zijn best goed, een authentieke mix van Zuidoost-Aziatische en lokale stijlen. Er zijn echter te veel van die trendy fotospots, die botsen met de algehele stijl van het hotel, wat jammer is.
Service: Het grootste minpunt.
Heb je ooit een vriend (of vriendin) gehad die wisselvallig is?
Er zijn schoonmaakmedewerkers die zo hartelijk zijn als familie, chauffeurs van de shuttlebus die oudere mensen met bagage vragen om een paar stappen verder te lopen, schoonmaakmedewerkers die 's avonds afhaalmaaltijden bezorgen, en restaurantpersoneel dat compleet overbelast is en absoluut geen service biedt. Je weet echt niet of je ze moet prijzen of boos moet worden. Dus als je hoge verwachtingen hebt van de service, wees dan voorzichtig.
Hygiëne: Het westerse restaurant was echt niet goed. De kamer zag er op het eerste gezicht prima uit, maar er zaten spinnenwebben achter de tv.
Pluspunten: Het zwembad en het warmwaterbad waren schoon en de badmeesters waren verantwoordelijk. Handdoeken en EHBO-spullen waren aanwezig. Het ontbreken van een doucheruimte was wel een beetje onhandig.
Ontbijt: Ik raad het westerse restaurant aan om de koffiemachine te vervangen. Ze bieden zowel Chinese als westerse gerechten aan, inclusief enkele lokale specialiteiten, en de smaak was acceptabel.
Vervoer: Je hebt een auto nodig om je te verplaatsen, anders zijn er niet veel restaurants of andere activiteiten in de buurt. De shuttlebus in het park is onhandig omdat je moet wachten.

RRudolph WangHotel was located at a nice, quiet neighbourhood, but still walking distances to Emeishan Train Station, which was great! Our hotel room view, facing the lake, was very relaxing. Amenities were good with Dyson hairdryer. The staff really thought things ahead by taking the initiative of filling up the hotspring tub in our room just before our arrival, so to ensure we can have a very relaxing, enjoyable stay after the whole day out to the Golden Summit of Emei Mountain. Upon checking out, we were given a small paper bag filled with local peanut candies and the lychee flavoured Mr Emei Snow soda drink. It was a very nice, warm gesture from the Hotel. Definitely highly recommended!

GGastgebruikerThis is not a 4 or 5 start resort. It’s a 5 star room down the river. The restaurant was closed when we were there, so called gym does not exist at all, swimming pool is small like a pond and the bigger one is for kids. There is no garden or anything that covers the road and the bridge you can hear easily while staying down the swimming pool. The big bonus is the bathroom- big and modern exactly like on the picture and the spring water hot tub that works well and can create a great time during the night as you can hear the river. Light system is amazing. You can find any light that you need to set up a mood. People are very nice and friendly. The front desk does not have ‘ business card’ and location of the hotel was written down on a paper. Really little things that shows this place has a potential but not in the current set up. You can’t lock the room door when you are not inside- only the garden gate. Who would design such a thing? I know it’s a safe destination but still. There is no safe either. People create this place special but it does not meet a high standard resort score.
