"I extend my stay there for another day due to the hotel is affordable, comfortable and near Metro. I accidentally left my wallet in the hotel room and tough that no room cleaning will be done. I when out in the morning and back in the night and notice that my room has been clean. I was worried about my cash in the wallet that have around $700 and my cards which I did not place into the safety box when missing . After check not even a single thing or $ missing. Thanks to all the staff which is able to guide and recommend us place to visit. Will back to this hotel when my next visit 🫡"

"Hotel room is clean. Bed is comfortable. Everything In the room seemed new. Super nice and comfortable. One set-back hotel did not provide disposable sleepers. I could not find it anywhere in the room. I thought this was a standard item in every hotel now. Counter service staffs seemed okay except for a few who are not very helpful. Presumably not knowledgeable. Hotel location is not good. It is away from Railway Station and especially Metro Station. As I rely on subway train or public bus alot to get around as a budget traveller and to blend in into their local life.. And I find it not convenient to get around for sightseeing and others."

This hotel is absolutely perfect, truly my forever stay in Dalian.
When you request a non-smoking room, it really means zero cigarette smell, which is rare and so appreciated. The room was spotlessly clean and felt fresh and comfortable from the moment we entered.
The view is breathtaking, spectacular, and mesmerizing , you can see Venice Water City and the ocean at the same time. Watching both sunrise and sunset from the room was unforgettable.
The whole building smells good and feels luxurious and elegant. The woman who came to help us was incredibly kind, welcoming, and spoke excellent English, which made everything so easy.
The room is fully equipped with everything you need: toiletries, slippers, clothes hangers, washing machine, fridge ….literally like an apartment. The bed is super comfortable and perfectly clean.
This is my second stay here, and it will definitely be my forever choice whenever I come to Dalian. Highly recommended! 💙"

"The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, making it super convenient for getting around and dining out, with all amenities close by. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive, handling check-in and check-out very quickly. They were all polite and gentle, always responding promptly to any requests. The room was spotlessly clean with no strange odors, and the layout was cozy and well-designed. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. Toiletries were comprehensive, and there was plenty of hot water with excellent water pressure. The dry-wet separation in the bathroom was a thoughtful touch. The room had great natural light and ventilation, and the soundproofing was effective, making for a wonderfully quiet night undisturbed by outside noise. The cleanliness was exceptional; the floors, tabletops, and bathroom were all spotless. Overall, it offers incredible value for money. Even though I wasn’t the easiest guest—having to modify my travel plans when my friend joined me during my stay—the manager went above and beyond to quickly adjust my booking multiple times to accommodate my needs.

"Het weer in Dalian is de laatste dagen echt goed en de hotelservice is erg goed. Hoewel het niet bijzonder gemakkelijk te vinden is, ligt het wel op de markt, maar je kunt het uithangbord zien als je omhoog kijkt. De kamer was erg schoon en de dame die de kamer schoonmaakte was ook erg aardig. Ze kwam heel enthousiast water en papier brengen. De receptie zag dat ik kinderen bij me had en heeft onze kamer geüpgraded, de kinderen vonden het erg leuk.

TTokkiiiWe stayed at Atour Hotel Dalian Dongguan Street (大连市政府东关街亚朵酒店) during our first trip to mainland China, and honestly, this place was one of the highlights of our whole visit.
Right at check-in we were kindly upgraded to a suite, and the staff asked if we could leave a review — after staying here, that was an easy and enthusiastic yes.
Where do I even start?
The room was immaculately clean, super quiet, and incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was impressive with strong water pressure and top-notch amenities — everything felt fresh and high quality. We had zero issues with housekeeping — everything was always perfect.
The staff were some of the friendliest we’ve met in China. Their English wasn’t perfect, but they tried so hard to help with whatever we needed, always with a smile and patience. That honest effort made a big difference.
Location is another major plus. This hotel is right by Dongguan Street, which means you’re walking distance to tons of restaurants, shops, and attractions. Pavilion Mall is super close too, and the airport is easy to get to — really convenient for arrivals and departures.
One small thing — the subway station is a bit of a walk, but the tram stop is very close, so getting around was still easy.
We didn’t try the breakfast since it wasn’t included, but honestly, everything else was so good that we really don’t even care.
To all travelers — especially Korean and Western visitors who might skip Dalian thinking it’s “not worth it” or don’t see many foreigners here — do yourself a favor and stay here.
This was hands-down one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had anywhere.
If we come back to Dalian, we will 100% stay here again without hesitation. Highly recommended.

SSeanchorHet is een uniek, puur Europees kasteelhotel met een zeer goede ligging, op slechts een steenworp afstand van het Xinghai-plein. Het is een erg handige plek om te eten en te reizen. Er zijn speciale auto's die je de berg op en af brengen. De kamer is erg groot. De kamer met zeezicht kijkt uit op de zeebrug en het uitzicht is werkelijk adembenemend. De interne faciliteiten zijn wat verouderd, maar over het algemeen prima. De bediening is hartelijk en attent. De lobby is prachtig en indrukwekkend. In de middag zijn er ook interactieve optredens voor kinderen. Er zijn meerdere liften in de lobby en het is gemakkelijk om te verdwalen. De kwaliteit van het ontbijt is gemiddeld, afgezien van de hoge prijs. Verder is alles prima.

SSam and LeeWe booked two nights at Yiyi Haisu hotel to celebrate my birthday and enjoy a wider view of Dalian's Venice city and sea. The room was large, comfortable and warm. The bedding was comfy and a dream to sleep on.
The reception was very helpful and provided everything that we asked for. We had a great time and would love to come back again ;-)

Only the guys at the reception speak good English and all questions had to be resolved with them, including the restaurant menu - no one in the restaurant, even with my use of a Chinese online translator, could help me with questions about the menu and when I asked the person at the reception to help me understand the menu, it turned out that the kitchen could not cook either the first course from the menu or the second. With dietary restrictions and allergies, you can die of hunger here.
I consider it unacceptable to have non-English-speaking staff in a franchise of an English establishment.
The cook at breakfast talks on the phone right at the place where food is prepared during breakfast. I wanted to ask him a question about the dishes on the first day - he was texting on the phone, on the second day he was directly talking on the phone.
The dishes at breakfast are either not named at all or are named only in Chinese.
There was no seller in the store at the hotel no matter how many times I went in to buy a T-shirt. In the end, I tried on what I was interested in at the store, chose it and went to the reception to pay for it. The next day, a salesperson appeared in the store and told me that the T-shirt I bought the day before had a 20% discount for a month, but when I paid for it, I paid it full price and thus I was deceived by 20% of the cost of the T-shirt and did not give any receipt.
The pool is very small and not deep for such a huge hotel. If there is someone else in the pool besides your partner, there is not enough space.
The sea near the hotel is dirty. Nothing is suitable for swimming - there are no sun loungers, there is no space on the beach specifically for the guests of the hotel. The beach is across the road from the hotel.
There was only one coffee machine at breakfast and it didn't work both days. You could ask a restaurant worker for coffee.
The hotel by the way has a cool energetic staff and that's nice. The room cleaning is high-quality.
There are renovations going on at the hotel and guests can't use all the hotel areas.

CCameo19Great location, across from Zhongshan square and 15 minutes walk to Russia street. The marina is a short 10-15 mini taxi ride. This hotel is like an old style China hotel, it’s kind of grand and is kept in relatively good condition, but it is dated with dark wood furniture and not in keeping with the high expectation of an InterContinental, especially compared with other cities. Also, there is a weird smell in the room, and the breakfast spread is limited, even in the club lounge. Also, there was no acknowledgment of my milestone birthday, which was disappointing. On the positive, the executive room is a nice size, bathroom is huge, shower is powerful, the condition is ok, bed and pillows are comfortable, no coffee machine, but free access to lounge with afternoon tea on both days and happy hour where food is served. The pool is large and up to 1.8m deep. The price is relatively good, so overall it was enjoyable. Thanks also to Grace who gave me a late check out and a magnet. I hope they refurbish the hotel soon, as it could be better, through it ain’t that bad ether.

아... 단점으로 복도에서 담배 냄새가 좀 납니다.
청소문제가 아니라 실내에서 흡연하는 게 밖으로 나오는 것 같네요.
금연객실 요청해서 배정받았는데 실내는 괜찮았습니다.

The room was good, there's even a washing machine (didn't use it though). The staff was kind and helpful. Perhaps the only problem was that the room card didn't work, so I had to get a password, which also expired daily at midnight, and I had to contact the reception to get a new one. But that's not how it's supposed to be, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. Overall, a great option.
