I've stayed at this location multiple times. It is a good location and I enjoy the house band in the pub (located in the basement). The Kempeski is definitely showing its ago, however. The marblework in the bathroom is cracked and some of the flooring is stained. The public bathroom (to the right of the lobby) is in desperate need of a makeover, i.e. recaulk the edges of the lavatory and do a deep steam cleaning of all tile. Breakfast was superb and the wait staff was doing a great job turning tables around for the next customers. I would probably stay again, but only if the prices are reduced.

I can safely say Intercontinental is one of the best hotels in Dalian after having stayed in many Dalian hotels. For starters we got a room upgrade and early check in and late check out. The hotel also gave us complimentary coffee and fruit soon after checking in. The room was clean, comfortable, modern and had a gorgeous city view. The amenities were satisfactory and their Breakfast buffet had a wide range of Western and Chinese cuisine to choose from. Special thanks to Jason from the fitness centre and Winnie and Kevin from the front desk for their excellent service they especially made sure our stay was enjoyable. The only downside is that I think the Chinese restaurant staff could use some training the service there was the least professional but in my opinion it didn't takeaway from the overall experience.

To be honest, I expected a lot for this hotel. Well too much expectation. 我想太多了！ The room, when we first entered it was smelly like I don’t know…like an old room. Clean, yes. But the smell not so ok especially when we have a baby. The Electric plugs, OMG😱 PLEASE FIX IT !!! At first it was ok but then it stopped everywhere. We need to find which electric plug works so we can boil the water and charge our phones. And the last, the WIFI. Speechless on this one. I was thinking that I can do my work during stay at this hotel. But the connection sooooo poor !!!!! I had to use my personal hotspot from my phone to do my work using laptop. Well…I spoke to the receptionist but they said, well maybe because of a lot of people are using it. Well….it’s a big hotel, not a small apartment or even house. Anyways….next time I won’t take much higher expectations on this. Tks!

Pleasant hotel with a good outdoor seating. The bathroom was spacious and shower and toilet are distinctly separated. Breakfast is decent but could be better. They offer meals for lunch and dinner which are fairly priced. The sliders I ordered were only 60-80rmb and they tasted yum! The hotel is nicely located at the beach front and is less crowded during the holiday, but our king sized room was in front of three trees that were blocking the view of the ocean. Other than that it was a cool experience.

This second time staying here, like the first, didn't disappoint. As before, visiting during the off-peak time is ideal for a quiet, uncrowded getaway. The sea-view room is welcoming and comfortable, with a view that is uncluttered and peaceful; opening the patio doors to the sound of waves rolling in equals instant relaxation. Aside from having a super comfortable bed and all the useful amenities one could need, there were simple niceties about the room, like the ability to adjust the temperature and fan speed (which runs quietly without disturbing sleep), ample hot water to fill a soaker tub, and multiple options for adjusting the room lighting. The hotel is immaculately clean, the grounds are meticulously maintained, and access to the beach is just steps away. The breakfast is substantial, with a variety of both Chinese and Western dishes. The staff was friendly and happy to care for our needs, even providing a power converter which I forgot to pack. Those in search of a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of the city can't go wrong by staying here. Highly recommend, and hope to visit again in the future. Hats off to the staff. 感谢你们让我们住得特别舒服！

An overall good hotel though large, meaning some areas were crowded—for example the restaurant at breakfast, or the pool. The rooms were nice if not particularly unique, certainly with the feel of a large big-brand hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. A nice location with good views. Overall a decent place to get away and enjoy Dalian.

The hotel staff were so kind and friendly. They did not speak English but we're able to communicate using a translation APP. The brought extra water bottles to my room and asked about the room temperature. I ended up staying at my girlfriend's apartment instead of the hotel after the first night and they allowed me to cancel even though they didn't have to. I had ordered a jacket to be delivered to my room, which ended up arriving after I checked out. The hotel kept it for me and let me pick it up from there once delivered. The view from my room was awesome. The only negative was the walls were a little thin and I could hear the neighbors. I'd definitely stay here again.

This is a hidden gem to stay for families or for couples! We wanted our kids to enjoy being in the water even in the middle of winter and this was the perfect place. We stayed in a villa where they will fill your personal hot spring whenever needed. The public hot spring area also has huge indoor heated pools and a wonderful kids area. My children had a blast! Cleanliness and service was impecable all around. Shout out to Derek and Brain who spoke English and were so kind and helpful throughout our stay. As expected, the area around the hotel is quite dead in the winter like the amusement park and beach. Most attractions and things to do in Dalian are about 45 minutes away, so we will probably come back March- September instead.

Hotel Nikko is a throwback to the 1990's. It is well maintained and very comfortable hotel. In fact, I moved from another 5 star hotel to this one mid weekend. The decor is a little dated, BUT of the 3 hotels in downtown Dalian that I have used over this last year I think Nikko is my favorite. Their service is excellent. The food is good. (Breakfast is great and the Japanese restaurant is good) The atmosphere of the hotel is very nice and upscale. I like that there is a Lawson's near the lobby, in the adjoining office/apartment building. When I called to request they lower the temperature in my room, they said they could not adjust the thermostat; however, they did offer me a fan. Within 5 minutes housekeeping brought a very nice standing fan which worked great. My next trip downtown I think I'll start with Hotel Nikko.

The front desk manager Liu Dongzhe called in advance and prepared a satisfactory room. The hotel lobby is quiet and elegant. The breakfast is delicious. Dessert master Yu Hailin praised the exquisite craftsmanship. The room style is good and gives people a feeling of home. I will continue to stay in this hotel next time I come to Dalian for a business trip.

Great hotel. The suite was above and beyond the booking price. Staff is friendly, speak English, and made sure our stay was comfortable. Pool was very nice. Library and billiard room were also very great. Proximity to the mall and metro make it so you can get around without ever leaving the building! Bikes are available for no additional charge. I thoroughly enjoyed taking them out to see the city and surrounding countryside. Hotel restaurant is japanese food. It’s strictly ok. I would advise ordering through your favorite delivery app instead and getting your food delivered to your door by the hotel’s friendly robot! Outstanding hotel. Would book again!

This hotel is my favorite place to stay when I return to Dalian in 2023. Let me talk about the advantages: 1. Excellent location, you can solve everything in a hundred steps: 2. The bedding is excellent and your sleep is better than at home. 3. The room service lady is kind, diligent and responsive to all requests. 4. The breakfast is rich in variety, and the tea, fruits and snacks picked up by the front desk are very considerate and pleasant. 5. Self-service laundry room and treadmill (although the instruments are not easy to use) 6. You can hail a taxi at the door, which is friendly to the elderly. 7. The two boys at the front desk are young and professional. Regardless of whether they can meet the needs of customers, they do their best. shortcoming: The young girl at the front desk is really a decoration and a burden. Almost the first reaction when a guest makes a request is: no, no, no, no sense of service at all 😂 and the response is slow and inefficient. Once there are no guests, they start to climb on the counter and check their mobile phones, or fight with colleagues. It really feels like they are here to damage the image of the hotel. It seems that instead of having a facade, the front desk needs some 35-year-old older ladies with service spirit, rather than those young ladies who are ignorant of the world and need others to look at their ignorant faces! I really have a strong feeling when I come here this time. As a Dalian person, I know that we speak loudly and harshly, but you are the front desk. I really like the front desk of a big hotel in the city center. Dealing with yourself and guests in this way is good for yourself and the guests. The hotel's one is irresponsible! Evaluate carefully! Speak from the bottom of my heart!

The front desk service was very good and quickly helped me solve the problem. I asked about my stay preference and the arranged room was very satisfied. The corridor has a aroma, the room is very clean and the area is large. Very good accommodation experience. The breakfast was also very good, with freshly cooked noodles and a great taste. Second time around - friendly front desk service by two enthusiastic young men. Language was a bit of a barrier and we ran into an interesting challenge. I pre booked and prepaid for 2 rooms - or so I thought. I was told that (1) there was no booking showing under the booking number I presented. (2) I was advised to call C-Trip to check the booking and a refund. After a call to customer relations - and waiting for them to check (wonderful service from customer services) my daughter presented our passports to the young men and lo and behold they found our booking needed to pay a deposit on one room I had booked. However I was then told that: I had not paid for 2 rooms but rather one -so I had paid for one room + booking fee and so needed to pay for another room. We got through everything with good humor and still good enthusiasm from the two lads. My suggestion would be to have a checklist of what to do for front desk staff when it’s domestic or fore DJ guests that arrive - request our ID (passports) with booking numbers (even if offered by guests). It makes it easier for staff and guests. In hindsight our first time at this hostel that’s what the girls did. We all learnt that day - checks are important 😁

Now I stayed in other hotels for one night, and I was not satisfied in all aspects, and then I checked out decisively and chose this Hilton. The location of the hotel is in the city center, it is convenient to go anywhere. The room is full of floor-to-ceiling windows, with a very good view and lighting. The facilities in the house are relatively modern and user-friendly, and the sanitation is also good. It is very comfortable to live in. The hotel service staff is considerate, meticulous, patient and organized, and there will be someone in front of the door to help open the door and take luggage. The breakfast is rich in varieties, both Chinese and Western food, and the taste is not bad. Choosing this Hilton for this trip was very successful, and I will stay here again in the future!

Great location! In the CBD of the old city of Dalian, it takes about 5 minutes to walk to the subway entrance, and there are many delicious foods around! I live in a wooden double bed, one bed is 1.5, and the other is 1.2. It is very comfortable for a family to live in. The small refrigerator is the tea and cola in the mini bar, which is really good~

We Visited Dalian during our Summer vacation & we loved it. The place is a little hidden so it took us a little while to find it. When we arrived the receptionist was welcoming and spoke English which made checking in easy. The Room was tidy and everything was Smooth we will definitely come back when we visit Dalian. Thank You to the ladies at the Reception their service was by far better than the service we just experienced at a 5 star hotel.

It’s really a great experience. I’m definitely not trusting you. I booked the hotel based on the reviews. It’s very safe to take care of my children. There are security guards downstairs. The location is very good. Just around the corner is Zhongshan Plaza. The facilities in the room are so complete and all. Branded home appliances, washing machines, refrigerators and projectors are all available. It is definitely comparable to a four or five-star hotel. You can stay at ease and the room is very big.

Traveling to Dalian, stayed for two days, the overall feeling exceeded expectations! The homestay at this price is clean and the location is excellent. It is next to Zhongshan Square. Facilities: Exactly the same as the photos on the website, the apartment building and the front desk are not in the same building, but you can find the apartment building by following the signs on the ground after exiting the front desk stairs, which is very convenient! The only flaw is that the glass partition door in the bathroom doesn't work well. After taking a shower, the floor outside the bathroom is full of water. Hygiene: Apartment-style management, plus the housekeeper's WeChat. If you need to clean, you can just WeChat the housekeeper, which is what I prefer. Environment: Located in the center of Zhongshan District, next to Tianjin Street, which used to be the busiest, but is now very depressed, but it is very convenient to get around by taxi, subway, and bus. Service: I just had dinner on my first night in Dalian. Fortunately, the lady at the front desk gave me some honest advice, otherwise I would have eaten those expensive and unpalatable so-called seafood dinners😅

During the May 1st period, I chose to go to Dalian for the whole tour. The only thing that made me feel incredible and exceeded my expectations was this hotel, because I thought it was a place to live at the time, but I didn’t expect that there would be Tangquan in his house. And after you book a guest room at his house, Tangquan is free. There is also a lounge below, and there is sweating. After playing one night, I realized that the hotel is like this. Pinched feet, very good, very good~~Very satisfied~~ Especially thanks to the lady at the front desk for arranging a mahjong table for our house~~Hahaha, because I didn’t bring a mobile phone in the bath, I took such a picture, hahaha, you can see the picture to know what is in his house~~Great ~~

Overall, it was a great stay. The location can't be beat, for the price group, at least. Abundant restaurants and coffee shops within a short walk, along with the beachfront. To the right were most of the coffee shops, cafes, and supplies, and across the giant oval were the seafood restaurants. Nice options on the seafront, as well. For convenience items, go to the left and seek out the hidden allyway stores I found only on the last day. The hotel was clean and efficient but comfortable. Service was good in general, but fell short in a couple areas. Front desk and restaurant staff seems overtasked; they did a nice job, but needed additional hands. This was most visible in the small dining area, in which all tables were at times either occupied or covered with dishes. The rooftop bar showed promise, but was closed by the time I arrived at 9:00 pm. Most of what fell short of expectations seemed beyond the hotel's control, such as the short-handed staff. Construction in the neighboring unit disrupted any tranquility I sought for most of two days. The workout area was adequate, but the eliptical trainer inoperable, a bit of a disappointment.

This was my first experience to stay on this hotel, i just checked out hotel today and until now (it has been 2 hours and more i haven't received my deposit back) i called customer service 3 times and they are so busy, they cannot handle it fast, this kind of service is so bad, why they hold my deposit so long, i don't know the reason At first i arrived at hotel, they provided us room which has bad smell (like no one ever stays in the room) ,then they changed the room to other room I found pillow in the room is kind of pillow for hotel with 2 star instead of 5 star, really not comfortable, then the dust under the bed and sofa, it is really dirty like they never clean dust under the bed and sofa Those all my concern, and i think i will not come back to this hotel ever again and will not recommend to my friend

The room was ok, clean. The location is good quite close to the Veneza place and subway. Was not so easy to find the front door. The main issue was that the hot water finished during the bath. Needed to wait 20 minutes to come back.

The location is phenomenal!!! Amazing view from the top . You can look down and view the city and sea. The night view is spectacular. The hotel is very clean ! Have enough amenities for few days . However if you want your room to be clean you should give the hotel specific detail on what you need for example take out the trash and clean the bed or vacuum the floor etc. we didn’t , we just asked to clean the room and only the trash was taken but the room was still as it is . Also right now there are major construction going on starting from 5am -10:00pm. So if the noise bother you , sorry but you can’t do nothing about it :( . The bed creaks a lot , the pillows are super soft and the place feels very comfortable. I wouldn’t definitely book again in the summer time . Thanks ~

The hotel staff were so kind and friendly. They did not speak English but we're able to communicate using a translation APP. The brought extra water bottles to my room and asked about the room temperature. I ended up staying at my girlfriend's apartment instead of the hotel after the first night and they allowed me to cancel even though they didn't have to. I had ordered a jacket to be delivered to my room, which ended up arriving after I checked out. The hotel kept it for me and let me pick it up from there once delivered. The view from my room was awesome. The only negative was the walls were a little thin and I could hear the neighbors. I'd definitely stay here again.
