The owners & staff make you feel like part of their family and give wonderful support in every need of your visit ex. tours.& transportation. They speak very good English and their breakfast & coffee are excellent and will accommodate any request if possible. Excellent location, superb services, helpful staff, waht else do you need? Will definitely come again to this place. Very satisfied with the cleanliness of the hotel, the size of the room, the helpfulness of the staff at the front desk (all of them during our stay), they even go out of their way to guide you through the places to visit in Rome. The breakfast was to our expectation. The area is central even if one wishes to walk around. The only thing is that the room is hot, does not have enough light and no air comes in even if you open the window as it is sourrounded by buildings.

The hotel stay was fantastic! One of the best and most luxurious hotels I have stayed in. It was huge and a family of 4 could stay comfortably. Wanted to get a day bed for my daughter but she was comfortable sleeping on the huge sofa. The facilities were complete and staff was great and help was given whenever it was needed. Every time my cab arrived at the hotel there was definitely someone opening the door for us.

The location is really good, there are subway stations nearby and it’s easy to get to places of interest. Also there’s a big shopping mall not far from it. That difficult decision- you have 7 hours at Guangzhou - Do you slum it in the lounge, scrapping for the last comfy seat, or risk getting a 144 hour visa, heading to the domestic terminal and booking into the hourly pod hotel! I'm still not sure it was a good idea, but grabbing 4 hours of sleep, getting a shower and hopping back on a plane for the second leg was ace. Would I advise running the gauntlet of a post-covid dash to domestic terminal? Maybe only if travelling solo & sprinting to the front of the visa line, with all necessary paperwork printed off and ready. No toilet, unless you cross the corridor and you'll need to pay via WeChat or in local currency. But the bed and the pod hotel concept is a wonderful treat mid-journey

Checking in was a quick process and apparently this hotel chain is a big player in Guangzhou so expect a lot of activities. Housekeeping is provided daily but they missed out on the bed for one day during my stay. Breakfast is simple but good with drinks and limited fruits. Location is very convenient as it’s right smack at Beijing Road. As mentioned by other travelers, there’s only one elevator serving the entire building so expect a longer waiting time. The bonus about this hotel is their free laundry service.

Location was not the best, however it is close to the airport, only took 10 minutes for the driver to pick you up and they also provide free drop off service too. The room was not that big but I didn’t mind, all I cared about was that the bed was big and very comfortable. The room was also clean and so is the bathroom. Great service especially front desk receptionist, had no problems checking in and out.

Located at Exit A of Guanzhou Subway Station, it’s only a minute away from me. It’s very suitable for me as I’m taking my baby as one more step would kill me. The suite has one bedroom and one living room, which is quite satisfactory and has all the facilities and equipment expected in an apartment. A 2-meter bed is enough for a family of four, let alone a family of three. It's perfect. There is a convenience store and McDonald's downstairs, so you can grab a quick bite. If you want to eat more, you can take the subway one stop to Wanshengwei. There is a large shopping mall there with a lot of food. It is suggested that the children's playground in the apartment can be improved. The children's picture books are badly drawn and dirty. The building block table was also rotten and there were not many building blocks. The slide is too shaky, and timid children will not dare to play after a few tries. It is recommended to add more children's books or children's toys. If you were expecting to have a children's paradise, but when you go there it's a shabby place and it doesn't have anything like this, you'll be quite disappointed. Overall, staying in a hotel apartment is very comfortable.

It's just at Exit B of Shiqiao. It's only a three-minute walk away. It's super fast! There is a large shopping mall opposite Pinruo Hotel. It's also very convenient for shopping. Miss Xiaomai at the front desk is friendly and has good service. There are many places to eat nearby downstairs. place. The room is clean and hygienic, the corridor is quiet, the breakfast and afternoon tea are rich and delicious, and the scented tea is also delicious!!! It was a surprise to get a free upgrade when checking in the hotel, after searching thru WeChat proposed hotel, noted that I was paying 100++ CNY more for the deluxe room! When going up the hotel, the corridor was dark and the spoilt bulb wasn’t replaced. Things get more challenging was the bathroom water was so milky this morning which I couldn’t use it to shower nor washing my face. This is also the time when I was rushing to board my flight!

Our order has 2 breakfast everyday but the hotel record only shows 1. We have to show the trip.com confirmation (luckily husband has printed it out, we can't find it again from the order) and they checked that their record is wrong. Billy at the reception doesn't smile and I think he should ask me to add 1 more breakfast (because there is discount to add in advance) but he didn't do so and make me spent half hour to prove I should have 2 breakfast in the next morning. The manager Yannes has apologized and let us have breakfast in the VIP lounge (also free for tea time and happy hour). The food is only average. The waitress asked me if the food okay, I said the bread of the egg benedict is too soft. Then she answered usually people dont' eat the bread. Do you think her answer is so strange? The hotel is grand, the garden and pond is beautiful, room is cozy but you can hear the noise in the next room. The cleaning lady has good smile and polite. Very close to the MTR station and the restaurant Dim Dou Duck.

Front Desk staff is top service, housekeeping lady that clean my room, thank you so much for the hand writing note.Concierge staff, doesn’t feel like helping traveller like us. I want to thank front desk for helping me and assisting on my request. Here are the major negative thing that i personally feel 1. Centralized A/C which is too hot even though i have switch to the lowest degree with cool high air. 2. Window too dusty as i was told to open the window if is too hot and stuffy 3. Shower top needs to change as the rubber tip turn brownish and water shooting from different direction 4. Breakfast expenses need to pay on the spot and not able to settle upon departure 5. Lift is alittle scary to me even though is safe. The lift have not completely stop and the door open. Overall, staffs is good but hotel is kinda old.

Fabulous historic hotel in the center of the beautiful YueXiu district. Rooms are huge, staff is efficient, speaks English, and very polite. Rooms have high ceilings, huge windows and very well decorated in a classic but super comfortable classical China style. Yuexiu Park metro station is 5 min walk, and next door is a Starbucks and McDonalds. Across the street is a new mall with lots of Chinese restaurants. It’s also about a 10 minute walk from Guangzhou’s famous clothing wholesale markets. Hotel lobby is huge and totally fabulous! Staying here makes you feel like you are living a life of luxury, but still at a reasonable price. One thing I would tell the staff to improve : showers need to be scrubbed better because any mold in the shower is unacceptable, even a little. This is a common problem in China, different standards than western cultures I guess. Otherwise, this is the place to stay. Standard Rooms here are a lot larger than at the China Hotel next door, and usually rooms rates for both properties are similar. Why not stay at Dong Fang and get a nicer room for the same price ?

The view from the room is magnificent, but I personally do not like the room displacement of Hyatt. It tries to be contemporary, but it ends up to be uncomfortable. The breakfast is very rich and the food quality is top. Pool at the 24th floor is also enjoyable.

Jumeirah Residence is the best experience I have ever experienced in an apartment. The furniture is all new, the kitchen and refrigerator are clean, and there is no greasiness from repeated use. The sugar water delivered every night is also delicious. The lady at the front desk was also very considerate and arranged the same room for me when I checked in the next day after checking out. The Burj Al Arab brand name lives up to its name. Nothing wrong with the hotel except that the water in the hotel's indoor swimming pool is a bit cold.

Easily one of the best hotels I have stayed in while in china. My wife and I already live in Guangzhou so we only went for a staycation but we were blown away by the room. The size of the room and the view from our window. We stayed on the 50th floor and I must say it was breathtaking. There were a few minor complaints, firstly the AC in the room wasn’t the best. So we found our self’s overheating a little during the night but it wasn’t unbearable. Second overall the staff were very nice and friendly but there was one lifeguard at the outside pool that was a little rude when we forgot to bring a swim hat to the pool. The breakfast too was a little overpriced for what it was and there are definitely better options outside the hotel Other than these complaints I can see why this is one of the best hotels in city and I would recommend this to anyone who can fit the price range.

The hotel is located in a cbd, very close to the park and convenient. The room is clean and very comfortable, the bed is extremely soft. We had a good sleep, but I think something wrong with the air conditioning system, it was still quite warm in the room even we adjust the temperature to 16-18c.. We asked one of the staffs for help if they can fix it but we didn’t get any answer even after check-out. Anyway, overall was good.

This time I stayed in a girl's quadruple room. Fortunately, it was good and cheap. It was very close to the destination I was going to. I liked its location very much. Ok, this was a 5 star hotel and everything is expected to be immaculate. However, I had to sleep there for a night to notify them that their air conditioning wasn’t working. I lost 2 nights of sleep because of that… They also will not take your food deliveries and you will have to go downstairs all the way to take it yourself. Is it really posh and comfortable? Yes. Will your money be well spent? Not really.

Visited during Lighting Exhibition and the main purpose of selecting this hotel was its close proximity to Exhibition center. I book twin suite room at 35% price of Shangri-la Hotel which is near to exhibition area too. It was a business visit so I did not have any high expectations. Room was very nice and spacious and there was a washing machine, microwave and many electric sockets. Room had big french windows directly facing the Exhibition area. Best part of the stay was its distance to Exhibition and it just took me 10 minutes walk to reach C Area and another 10 minutes to reach B Area through the bridge. There are not many restaurants near the hotel. Just 3-4 behind the hotel so I preferred calling food from wechat and had to go down to collect it. Overall it was a nice stay and I would like to come back during exhibition time again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here — the construction during the period only affected us on our first day (cleaning of windows). It was the NYE/New Year’s period and the Beijing Road area was always bustling and crowded but the security here did their jobs well. The room facilities are also new and clean. Only downside was the hdmi port of the TV wasn’t really accessible, but Apple TV casting could be used. The security was also friendly to us as we had some parcels throughout our stay. Oh and, Mcdonalds and Chagee (and many other malls) are located right beside the hotel — score!

(+) - Smart room (Voice control lighting and curtain) with projector, able to chill and watch movies/shows at night - Heated toilet bowl (with bidet etc), great for cold season - excellent location - space is on the smaller side but good for couples with 1 medium and 1 cabin size luggage (-) - First thing first, CIGARETTE smell on day 1 check-in. Not sure if is from the previous guest, but I can still smell a hint of it until the next morning. There is a smoke detector but it is covered with paper and scotch tape, not sure who did that. Quite disturbing for me who doesn't smoke. - Overall cleanliness should be improved, there are bottles and tissue under the clothing rack, with dusty corners. - Lift is shared with others (level 2 and 3 was escape room and something else, couldn't remember exactly). But card access is needed for the hotel level.

The hotel is a typical Jin Jiang Inn hotel (stayed in a couple of hotels of this brand). Rather clean and comfortable to stay (when all day you go sightseeing and come to the hotel to take a shower and sleep). The only things I did not expect is the so called “window facing hallway”; it wasn’t hallway at all, but a kind of a well with some horrible light which was on 24/7 creating a sensation of a day light. To sleep one needs to shut the curtains very well, otherwise it’s really annoying. (See on the pictures) the AC works okay, but needs some cleaning. A couple of times during our stay we had some blackouts, so we called the reception to fix this problem. The curtains also need to be changed, as they are filthy.

The mats in the elevator have not been changed for a long time and look old and dirty. The bathroom tub in the river view room and the floor-to-ceiling glass in the room were very dirty. It really affects my mood. The 700 yuan spent on accommodation during the Chinese New Year is a bit worth it.
