Hotels met Gym in Bagmati, Nepal

This is the second time I stayed at Ramada Encore in Thamel. I was not wrong to choose it again. Absolutely everything is good here ... the staff, the room,the breakfast (oh my, sooooo good), the location, the friendliness of every single employee, from the door in. A special recognition to Nikhil in the reception, whose service and support with a sincere smile is as comforting as the sunshine on an early autumn morning. And to the staff and therapists on the spa where I took a couple of massages that were superb. Kathmandu is a beautiful, yet hectic city. Thamel even more, so to have this oasis to come to after a long day wandering around or trekking is something to treasure. In my case, this is even more meaningful as I left all my stuff to go hiking on the Himalayas for several days, coming back to the hotel with the certainty that I was going to be happily and truly welcome. Again, I was not wrong. Thank you for making a difference and for understanding what the word service means. I will certainly choose you again and again every time I come back to this unique Kathmandu I learned to love. Namaste, 🙏🏼.

Het hotel, als een afgelegen toevluchtsoord, ligt in een rustig steegje te midden van de drukke straat. Bij binnenkomst in het steegje ervaart u een rustige sfeer, die nog wordt versterkt door een kleine tuin op de binnenplaats van het hotel, waar u heerlijk kunt ontsnappen aan de drukte. De inrichting van het hotel is nieuw, schoon en stijlvol. De kamers bevinden zich op de t****e verdieping en kijken uit op de rustige tuin. Het hotelpersoneel is behulpzaam en het welkomstdrankje is uitstekend. Het hotel heeft een kleine fitnessruimte, maar die is voldoende voor een comfortabele workout.

On this special day, I chose to check in at Shanker hotel. The warm service,delicious food and quality environment,everything is so good. The hotel prepares decorations and cake very thoughtfully, surprised us. Due to the late arrival time, the hotel also thoughtfully provided me with dinner order so that could enjoy it when we arrived. Finally the food upexpectedly delicious. I recommend you to choose Shanker hotel. Wherever it’s a vacation or celebration it is best choice.

Vanaf het moment dat ik aankwam, voelde het personeel me echt welkom, de check-in was soepel en efficiënt, en ik werd gegroet met warme glimlachen en verfrissende dranken. Mijn kamer was spotloos, mooi ingericht en bood een prachtig uitzicht elke detail was gedachtenvriendelijk geregeld voor comfort en ontspanning. Het ontbijtbuffet was uitstekend, met een brede selectie van verse, smaakvolle opties om elke smaak te passen. Het huishoudelijk team hield alles perfect bij gedurende mijn verblijf. Ik waardeer ook de rustige sfeer en de uitstekende WiFi-verbinding, waardoor het ideaal is voor zowel vrije tijd als werk. Wat dit hotel echt afscheidt is het niveau van gastvrijheid. Elk teamlid ging boven en verder om ervoor te zorgen dat ik een aangename verblijf had van het aanbevelen van lokale attracties om te helpen met het vervoer. In het algemeen combineert dit hotel luxe, comfort en echte zorg op de beste manier mogelijk. Ik zou het zeer aan iedereen die het gebied bezocht, en kan niet wachten om snel weer terug te komen!

Absolutely loved our stay at the Everest Boutique Hotel in Kathmandu! This hotel is a gem – beautifully designed in a traditional style, and everything feels brand new and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was a great start to the day, with a good variety of options including fresh juices, tea, coffee, fruit, toast, cheese, and delicious pastries. What really set this hotel apart was their excellent tour desk. We booked our trek to Everest Base Camp with them, and it turned out to be the best decision! Not only did they offer us the most competitive price compared to all the other tour agencies we checked, but our guide, Ram Bhandari (who is also a staff member at the hotel), was truly outstanding. He was incredibly helpful, attentive to our safety throughout the entire trek, and ensured we had great accommodations along the way. We can’t recommend Everest Boutique Hotel highly enough – book with them, and you won’t be disappointed!

We knew the service would be good as soon as we booked, and within hours we received a welcome email, listing the ways we could contact them if we needed to. On the pick up at the airport, they were speedy and efficient and the taxi ride only took us 20 minutes with traffic. As we walked through the door we were blown away by the interior decoration, only then to find that hotel had been a former palace! Historic artifacts and pictures were strewn through the hallways and the outside only matched the royal feel with perfection. We stayed in the royal suite, with a big bed and balcony. The staff were great, the breakfast was standard for off peak times and although the location isn't in the depth of Thamel, the area most will go out for eating and drinking, it was within 30 minutes drive of most landmarks and as it was the ambassedy/ office worker area, there was a nice vibe. There were some things that can't be controlled. The hotel did a good job of providing heat as the weather in February is still chilly. The pollution was real. Especially as you walk nearer the streets, something to think about if you are sensitive to this. Apart from that, It was all really wonderful. Ik schrijf zelden recensies, maar ik kan dit hotel in Kathmandu van harte aanbevelen. Het hotel ligt aan de hoofdstraat van Thamel, waardoor het zeer gunstig gelegen is ten opzichte van Chinese restaurants, bars, winkels en meer. Het hotel heeft een uitstekende smaak, met kamers die vergelijkbaar zijn met die van hotelketens, compleet met elektrische gordijnen en een slim toilet. De eigenaar is erg aardig en biedt zoveel mogelijk hulp. Het lokale personeel biedt uitstekende service en je merkt dat ze een systematische training hebben gevolgd voordat ze aan de slag gingen.

I recently stayed at Basera Boutique Hotel, and I have to say, it was a fantastic experience! This charming new hotel really captures the essence of Nepal with its lovely vibe. It’s super clean and conveniently located near all the main attractions. One of the highlights for me was the pool—it was pristine and perfect for a refreshing dip. And don’t even get me started on the breakfast! There were so many delicious options to choose from, plus their coffee and beer on tap were a nice touch. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They helped us book taxis and even arranged airport pickups and drop-offs for our flights from Kathmandu. They also offered great recommendations for tours and places to explore. Our room had an amazing view of the mountains, which was just the icing on the cake. I can’t wait to return to Basera Boutique Hotel on my next trip!
