"It was a very good experience. The rooms is clean and modern, the pillow is comfort, bathroom is so spcious, plus welcome drinks in the fridge once checked in.
The staffs are always friendly and responsive.
Lobby is well decorated, cozy feels like home with touch of artistic design.
Surrounding is convenient, there are lots of choice of food, Chagee, 24hr convenience shop are downstair. Only 10-15mins drive to take speedboat to pulau.
Only parking is about rm30 per day. No free parking."

"Absolutely amazing, trust me and book it, you won't regret it! Incredible value for money! The customer service lady even spoke Chinese, and the location is great, right in the city center. We even caught their traditional dance performance in the mall across the street, it seems like a regular show around noon, so you can check it out then. The bed was super comfortable, and thoughtfully, they even provided an iron, a fridge, and even Chinese power outlets! That was a lifesaver if you didn't bring an adapter. The TV worked too, though there was no water in the room, but there's a supermarket downstairs, which is super convenient. And the lady was really, really attentive! Absolutely amazing, a truly happy trip!!!"

"Although theree was an error on the booking system at my side...but they solve the problem easily by giving me a room with seaview..(seems to be an upgrade to me) the room is clean and the cleaner did their job really well too by adding more towel rather than change my towel...for the breakfast it's good, though the only problem is their drinks is bland...thats all"

Haf LuqOverall, the hotel is good, especially because of its convenient location near a shopping mall, making it easy to purchase daily necessities and other items. The breakfast café is spacious and offers a wide variety of food choices.
However, there are a few areas that could be improved. While the breakfast selection is extensive, the taste of the food was somewhat disappointing and could be enhanced. In addition, the cleanliness of the room needs more attention. The floor felt dusty, as if it had not been properly swept or vacuumed. Guests who are not comfortable wearing the hotel slippers may notice the dust more easily.
With improvements to room cleanliness and food quality, the overall guest experience would be much better.

Guest UserI originally booked a twin room and was worried about getting one facing the construction site. Upon arrival, the hotel informed me that the twin room was unavailable and upgraded me to a suite, which was very spacious. The swimming pool and splash area for kids were great; we pretty much spent the whole first day at the hotel. Breakfast was decent, nothing spectacular but perfectly fine. Overall, I'm quite satisfied. I just wonder when the construction next door will be finished; it should be even better once it's done. The VR attendant inside was very enthusiastic; my child even went over time, but he still let them have another round.

The front desk staff were very patient. The only drawback is that the room is a bit old-fashioned. However, the hotel's exterior looks upscale and grand.

XiaoqiebabaThe scenery is unbelievably beautiful, every photo is a masterpiece. The hotel is huge and the breakfast is delicious. There's also a free shuttle bus to the airport and city center; check the last picture for the schedule. This is the most recommended hotel in Kota Kinabalu! Super value for money! Highly recommended! It's just a bit far from the city center, but you can take a taxi. The hotel's location is a bit secluded, but it doesn't detract from its beauty.

Guest UserWe stayed here for two nights on a family trip. The location was excellent; we could walk to shopping malls and restaurants, which was very convenient. The staff were friendly, and check-in and check-out were smooth. The room, pool, and gym were kept clean, making for a comfortable stay. While we felt the breakfast could have had a bit more variety, overall, we were very satisfied and consider this hotel to offer great value for money. We would definitely like to stay here again when we visit Kota Kinabalu.

FayuzhuThe facilities are indeed quite old; the corners of the tables and cabinets are worn and shabby. The hygiene was just so-so. I compared it to another Hyatt Centric, which had higher ratings but wasn't as close to the sea as this one. I came specifically for the sea view and asked the front desk in advance to reserve a high-floor sea view room. The view was slightly inferior to the sea view B&B I stayed at previously, but still acceptable. The sink design is unfriendly; I felt like I was going to fall into the basin. I highly recommend the breakfast – the variety is amazing. Make sure to leave plenty of time in the morning to savor it slowly. A happy day starts with breakfast, haha!

Kalel jrhad a very pleasant stay at Citadines Waterfront Kota Kinabalu. The location is excellent and very convenient, with plenty of restaurants, shops and attractions within easy walking distance. The property feels modern, clean and well maintained.
My room was comfortable, spacious and clean, and the facilities were very good. I especially enjoyed the overall atmosphere and the waterfront location. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful throughout my stay, and check-in and check-out were smooth.
Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience with good value for money. I would definitely consider staying here again when visiting Kota Kinabalu and would recommend it to solo travelers looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay.
