I recently booked Sara Sadan Hotel in Kathmandu for my parents, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The hospitality and clear guidance provided by the staff were excellent. My parents were very comfortable during their stay and were truly happy with the service. The staff were extremely friendly, respectful, and always helpful. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a pleasant and caring stay in Kathmandu.Definitely we will be back there. Thanks and best regards. Binod

Het hotel, als een afgelegen toevluchtsoord, ligt in een rustig steegje te midden van de drukke straat. Bij binnenkomst in het steegje ervaart u een rustige sfeer, die nog wordt versterkt door een kleine tuin op de binnenplaats van het hotel, waar u heerlijk kunt ontsnappen aan de drukte. De inrichting van het hotel is nieuw, schoon en stijlvol. De kamers bevinden zich op de t****e verdieping en kijken uit op de rustige tuin. Het hotelpersoneel is behulpzaam en het welkomstdrankje is uitstekend. Het hotel heeft een kleine fitnessruimte, maar die is voldoende voor een comfortabele workout.

Het was en goede ervaring in het hotel ze waren heel vriendelijk. Voor hulp gingen ze gelijk helpen zonder twijfels. Zelf bij de receptie kreeg je hulp waar je moet gaan , Welke plekken mooi is zonder gedongen te worden. Ik had zelf het chauffeur van het hotel genomen zelf hij was heel aardig.Hij heeft ook andere plekken gebracht zonder dat we hadden afgesproken Dat was top geen extra kosten. Ook met manager gesproken hij had alles in kaart gebracht en het totaal kosten voor drie dagen gezet. Ik ga zeker terug naar Nepal en het zelfde hotel nemen. Zonder twijfel. The hotel is conveniently situated right behind of the Garden of Dreams. Just a short walking distance to the busy Thamel area. The vicinity has convenience stores, cafes, eateries and pharmacy. The room is quite small but it's alright for a short stay. The bed wasn't quite as comfortable as other hotels that I've stayed. Very basic fitness facility in the hotel, do wish that they would make the gym bigger and better equipped. The breakfast buffet is good enough for some fuel before heading out to explore. Omelette could definitely be improved but I do like the mushrooms and bacon with my omelette. They also have a soup station which you can pick what you want to go into your soup. The soy latte was nicely done. Some day they serve the chocolate cake which is a must try. Staffs are very well trained and speaks good english. I'd definitely recommend staying here for the value for money, fantastic location and good hospitality.

Ik schrijf zelden recensies, maar ik kan dit hotel in Kathmandu van harte aanbevelen. Het hotel ligt aan de hoofdstraat van Thamel, waardoor het zeer gunstig gelegen is ten opzichte van Chinese restaurants, bars, winkels en meer. Het hotel heeft een uitstekende smaak, met kamers die vergelijkbaar zijn met die van hotelketens, compleet met elektrische gordijnen en een slim toilet. De eigenaar is erg aardig en biedt zoveel mogelijk hulp. Het lokale personeel biedt uitstekende service en je merkt dat ze een systematische training hebben gevolgd voordat ze aan de slag gingen.

Eerlijk gezegd is dit het meest kosteneffectieve hotel waar ik ooit heb verbleven. De locatie is geweldig, de kamer is comfortabel en het belangrijkste is dat het erg schoon is. De douche heeft een sterke waterdruk, wat erg verfrissend is. Het ontbijt is heerlijk. Het hoogtepunt is dat de hoteleigenaar erg behulpzaam is en alles voor ons regelt als eerste bezoekers van Kathmandu. We hebben al gepland om in december terug te keren naar Nepal en zullen opnieuw in dit hotel verblijven. ---

Hotel dom Himalaya in center city of Kathmandu, big room and clean , quiet and breakfest every morning , the staff very helpful exactly the receptionist ARPANA always smiling and speaking good English. I recommend this hotel.

Everything was just perfect! Had I known this hotel earlier, I kist have been stayed longer. The buffet food was exceptional. The service they gave was outstanding. I had a problem with my bath tub and fridge but both were solved quickly. Location is exceptional. In less than a minute, you’ll find numerous souvenir shops and restaurants. You can even walk to Durbar Square and Monkey Temple like what I did! My room with the bathtub and balcony was supra relaxing, the bed was ultra comfy. The garden cafe is a plus. Will definitely book here again. Highly recommended!

Extremely wonderful hotel 15 minutes walk from the airport. Everything was sparkling clean, comfortable, and I always felt well taken care of. The gym is well stocked and has a great view of the city. Breakfast was another highlight and included many delicious Nepalese, Indian, and Western foods. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and kind, helping me call taxis for a cheaper fare than the tourist rip off price, and they also helped me store my luggage overnight while I went on a yoga retreat. Can’t recommend this hotel enough!!

The stay was great, to say the least. We actually decided to extend our as our plans changed and looked no further. The staff were very flexible with our late night flight and the ensuing late check-out and assisted us price-wiae. The hotel is truly a boutique one. Breakfast is nice. We didn't need much anyway, so for us, it was much more than we needed. There is a slight variation on a daily basis. The cleaning lady cleans the room impeccably on a daily basis. In general, if you need anything, the staff are accommodating and always ready to help. Locatio- wise, the hotel is somewhat further away from the noise of Thamel and other touristy areas but close enough to places of interest. Last but not least, we arrived later than scheduled, so the meet and greet service , which came free, was super handy.
