Well kept older hotel with huge rooms and great bathrooms. Biggest rooms and bathrooms we've had in Japan! Very clean and comfy beds. Great staff and very close to historical district.
The room is good view and they provide eyes hot pad for when you sleep to using. Even I stayed one night, they gave me a bottle of water. Pls mark it: they don't have water at room, but you can use ice~
5 starts hotel, staff are helpful and welcomed. The location is very good, near the train station, aeon mall and big camera is within 5 mins walkable
distance. The hotel is aged but well maintained. They provide parking at the basement of the hotel. We had a good stay there.
The location of the hotel is incredible! It is just beside the main station exit. The place was in pristine condition, very spacious and the staff extremely polite.
The only down side is that it doesn't have a restaurant in which you could have breakfast. There are alot of great places to eat nearby but that would be a bonus.

Great
Ll3unnyThe staff I came came across were all very polite and had welcoming smiles, no matter at the reception desk or the restaurant on 20/F. I enjoyed my stay here, but it felt comparable to the 3 star hotels, just slightly better especially thanks to the fabulous breakfast and location of breakfast…If hotels have half stars, i would think it’s’more of a 3.5 star hotel instead of a 4. I have a few suggestions which the hotel can look into to improve in the future.
3 Things to improve on:
1) I picked this hotel because I read other reviews saying the hotel is connected to a bridge from the Okayama station. This is true but unfortunately there were no signs in the station to guide travellers unlike another hotel like Granvia. Google suggested that I look for the west exit which I did, but I ended up being at the ground level hence had to bring big suitcase all the stairs…then I spotted the bridge and ANA crowne plaza from the street
2) cleanliness can be improved. There’s a UCC drip coffee machine in the room. I don’t drink coffee, and the box for the drip coffee selection was refilled. However I spotted a used capsule on the floor near the wall. The bin was not blocking the view, so the cleaners could’ve easily spotted the rubbish if they had been a little more careful and looked under the table when they have to clear out the rubbish bin anyway.
3) I sent a message to the hotel via TRIP.com. The message wasn’t replied promptly, as in within a few hours. Ultimately it didn’t matter anymore, I arrived at the hotel before somebody managed to reply me. Maybe it’s the system that’s problematic which may have caused a lag? Or staff only look at mails/messages when not too busy at the front desk?
JjennychenjieThis hotel is genuinely great. There's a dedicated passage directly from the JR station to the hotel, so you don't even need an umbrella if it's raining. Dining is incredibly convenient too; there are all sorts of restaurants in the commercial area right downstairs, from ramen to coffee. Everything is perfect!
GGuest UserI stayed at this cabin hotel for two nights to visit Naoshima Island and it was a truly great experience. If you are looking for a unique and high-quality stay, I highly recommend it.
The Highlights:
• Service & Food: The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. A huge standout was the breakfast, it was exceptionally fresh and delicious!
• The Cabin: For a ”cabin” style accommodation, the space felt surprisingly roomy. The bed was very comfortable, and I slept quite well.
Addressing the ”Security” Concern:
Before booking, I was a bit hesitant because of previous reviews mentioning that the cabins do not lock. However, after staying there, I didn't find this to be an issue at all. I never felt unsafe and it didn't take away from the experience.
Good to Know:
The only thing to be aware of is that since it is a shared sleeping hall, you can hear some noise from other guests. However, in my experience, it was still a very pleasant and calm environment.
I honestly have nothing negative to say, it’s a perfect spot for travelers heading to the art islands!
YYACHOOIt is near the Kurasaki Bikan Historical Quarter, so it is good for exploring the Bikan Historical Quarter, but it is a bit far from Kurasaki Station, so it takes about 15 minutes on foot.
It is old, but well-maintained, and the breakfast is delicious, although it does not have many varieties.
It is a decent hotel for a one-day stay.
GGuest UserI stayed in Uno only for one night. The design of this hotel is very stylish and has interesting conception. The room is enough big, nice balcony with an amazing view, also there is free water. I also liked the breakfast and it was very good, liked it a lot. It’s a pity, that there was no tea and coffee at the reception and also there was no personal care accessories. Not all staff speak English.
TTiantianzhuizhumaqidaLocated on Mt. Washu in Kojima, the views are absolutely stunning, offering panoramic sights of the Seto Inland Sea bridges. It's very close to Washuzan Highland Amusement Park, and they provide a shuttle service back to Kojima Station. The rooms are quite spacious by Japanese standards, and there's also a hot spring bath (onsen) available. While it's a bit on the pricey side, the service is impeccable.
GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is incredible! It is just beside the main station exit. The place was in pristine condition, very spacious and the staff extremely polite.
The only down side is that it doesn't have a restaurant in which you could have breakfast. There are alot of great places to eat nearby but that would be a bonus.
GGuest UserLovely accommodation - everything was well thought out and considered. Excellent location close to train station and Bikan Quarter. We had a wonderful time in Kurashiki. Will definitely stay here again. No washing machine / dryer - only thing that would make this accommodation even better. Thank you for having us!
WWK.CThe scenery is so beautiful, very comfortable and first-class service! The proprietress and the driver staff are kind and friendly! If you buy a jrpass, you can make an appointment to pick up and drop off. It’s free at Kurayoshi Station and highway tolls at Tsuyama Station, but it’s worth it. Time is money. I gave a small gift before I finally left, looking forward to going again next time!
GGuest UserWe had a wonderful time staying at the Machiya Stay Fukiya Senmai.
The hospitality from the host was warm and welcoming. We enjoyed a quiet night relaxing at the stay.
The breakfast was delicious and everyone was so welcoming.
Thank you very much.
