This hotel was amazing and we really enjoyed the location to everything aswell as the customer service right up to the manager as girls who have lived in auckland and experienced hotels there this place has immaculate care for their customers within their space we also enjoyed the body wash that smelt so beautiful we are going to get some of that also we are truly greatful thank you.

About the hotel itself: certainly it’s no luxury experience, but it is a solid, clean basic hotel perfectly located at the marina if you want to go snorkeling, surfing, scuba diving at poor knights or enjoy (walking at) the beautiful tutukaka coast. The walls of the rooms are a bit thin and you can hear everything through the wall. However, it’s a fair value for money and there are basically no alternatives available.

From moment we arrived lovely Sarah was so welcoming 100%.price was really good compared to other places we have stayed that cost more and wasn't worth money. Stones throw from the beach.Thus was our second time staying really enjoyed and had a really good night's sleep.lovely touch they give you a bottle of milk on arrival 😀

Slightly tired with some maintenance due.
Too many emails (I think 9 in total) re the stay. When on holiday I don't want 9 extra emails!.
Staff great, rooms really good and quiet considering the location.
It would be good to get all the Sky TV channels for the amount charged. I.e it was missing Channel 7,17,21 etc.

I like the location and Bay of Island is beautiful. Admiral's View Lodge is clean, quiet and offers self driving traveller's everything what one needs. Paihia's small community is nice, friendly and one can feel safe. I lost my mobile phone while I went out for dinner and found it in the next morning thanks to the lost and found board in the community.

Met een verblijf bij Lodge Bordeaux in Whangarei, in de buurt Avenues, bevind je je op 10 min. lopen van Quarry Arts Centre en Botanica & Cafler Park. Dit pension in luxe stijl ligt op 1 km van Pou en op 1 km van Old Library Arts Centre.
Loop vooral de recreatieve voorzieningen zoals een seizoensgebonden buitenzwembad en fietsenverhuur niet mis. Andere kenmerken van dit pension zijn gratis wifi, hulp bij uitstapjes/tickets en een picknickplaats.
Profiteer in dit pension van de roomservice (beperkte tijden). Op werkdagen wordt er tegen betaling een à-la-carte-ontbijt geserveerd van 08.00 uur tot 09.30 uur en in het weekend is dit beschikbaar van 08.00 uur tot 09.30 uur.

Staff were super friendly. It was a good price for good accommodation, within walking distance from the beach, restaurants etc. Small things could have earned a full 5 star rating such as extra pillows as ours were a bit flat, having more toilet paper as 3 rolls single ply for 4 people on a 5 day trip didn’t cut it, but overall a good experience. The laundry was a bit dated so we ended up using the laundromat down the road, and we had no idea where the gym or restaurant was which would have been nice to have been informed of when we checked in.

Het gevoel van mensen is erg warm. De eigenaar van de gastenhuishouding Paul is erg gezellig. Omdat het geen traditioneel hotel is en geen receptie is, moet het een dag vooraf bevestigen dat de aankomsttijd is.
Het aankomstproces is zeer langzaam en de huurder is goed gevonden. Elke kamer heeft een nummer in de koelkast.
Het is erg comfortabel hier te wonen, Paul heeft ook een intieme hulp geleverd. Het is goed om een paar dagen te blijven proberen Karikari Peninsula en Coca-Cola Lake!

RRUIThe scenery is good, there are more bugs in the room. The facilities are also basically close to the limit of needing renovation. However, it is very good to have such an supporting facility in the big countryside. The young lady at the front desk is also very good. In addition, if you want to use an outdoor heated swimming pool, it is best not to live in a single building. The area where the single house is located is too far to the pool, to drive around from outside.

When we arrived we meet friendly staff and a nice clean setting, the room was spacious and a fabulous view of the marina, not to forget the tutukaka Twilight market with great atmosphere and sounds. It was a Hot day so unfortunately when we got back to our room that also was very hot and there was no air conditioning we did have great stacker windows and a fan in the ceiling but it was no match for the warmth we had that day. So going to the premises outdoor swimming pool seems like the logical thing to do upon arriving we found a great pool salt water chlorine and a beautiful Pahutakawa just waiting to burst into flower. Couldn’t put to put much wrong with this place I would guarantee it to friends thanks guys,great stay
