Geen slecht budgethotel. Het ligt aan de overkant van de weg van het strand. De kamers zijn schoon. Ze worden regelmatig schoongemaakt. Er is een kleine, groene zone met een zwembad en een speeltuin, die ook regelmatig wordt schoongemaakt. Het ontbijt is eentonig, maar er zijn vier soorten fruit, ham en kaas, broodjes en ontbijtgranen. Op verzoek wordt er een omelet met spek gebakken. Als u uw auto parkeert, zorg er dan voor dat er geen palmboom met kokosnoten boven staat. Kokosnoten vallen soms.

Три дня мы провели в этом отеле. Впечатления только положительные. Локация удачная, 10 минут ходьбы до пляжа. И 15 минут до магазинов. Рядом много кафе. Но мы питались в отеле, ребята очень вкусно готовят, красивая подача сочетается с сервисом, с вкусным меню. Ужины нас покорили, изысканные блюда и десерты. На завтрак так же голодным не останешься, тосты, сыр, масло, омлет и йогурты собственного приготовления. В номере убираются ежедневно, белоснежные полотенца, большие номера. Нам очень понравилось, спасибо за гостеприимство!

Очень приятный отель прямо напротив пляжа. Буквально перейти дорогу - и ты уже на пляже. Сам отель вызвал впечатление нового, большие номера с современным ремонтом. Мы бронировали номер с видом на океан, его терраса выходит прямо на дорогу, но шума по ночам нет. Неплохие завтраки, которые были бы интереснее, если их разнообразить, например, кашами и большим количеством овощей и зелени. Отличный ненавязчивый сервис - ежедневная уборка, в любое время суток можно получить помощь от сотрудников отеля. Рекомендую к посещению.

Отличный отель, находится на севера общественного пляжа флик ан флак. 10 минут по берегу до деревьев, где приятная тень. Свой пляж у отеля не приспособлен до купания, но это не проблема - пройти 7-10 минут) еда вкусная, вполне приличная, без особого гурманства. Много индийских влияний в кухне. Сервис отличный - необычную просьбу девушки на ресепшн выполнили, все решили, всех нашли за пару часов и вызвали в отель прям (у нас была фотосессия и мы искали срочно того, кто может заплести афрокосы). Территория очень зеленая, много птиц. Никаких жуков/тараканов, ничего такого, все чисто. Номера не свежак, но вполне. Твердая четверка!

Er zijn maar weinig recensies over dit hotel, vooral niet van Chinese toeristen. Ik heb veel onderzoek gedaan, maar geen enkele recensie bood echt waardevolle feedback. Daarom wilde ik zelf een recensie schrijven die nuttig kan zijn voor Chinese toeristen.
Ten eerste zijn er maar weinig Chinese toeristen in dit hotel; ik ben er tijdens mijn vierdaagse verblijf geen enkele tegengekomen. Ik zal het hotel beoordelen op een aantal punten: Ten eerste was de service uitstekend. Vanaf de eerste avond dat we aankwamen, waren de receptioniste en al het personeel dat we dagelijks tegenkwamen vriendelijk en attent. Ten t****e, de omgeving: het hotel heeft veel kamers en een groot terrein. Onze kamer lag dicht bij het restaurant, het zwembad en het strand. We hebben het hotel verkend en als we een kamer verder weg hadden gekregen, was het een paar minuten lopen geweest. Ze lijken echter een shuttleservice aan te bieden (ze hebben onze bagage op onze eerste dag met een shuttlebus vervoerd). De groene omgeving en het zwembad van het hotel zijn mooi en het strand is, vanzelfsprekend, erg aangenaam. Ten derde, de kamers: de kamers zijn gemiddeld. Als je gewend bent om in vijfsterrenhotels in China te verblijven, vind je dit misschien wat vreemd, aangezien de faciliteiten en inrichting in China tegenwoordig echt uitzonderlijk zijn. Het hotel biedt geen tandenborstels aan en drankjes in de minibar zijn tegen betaling. Het douchewater was wat zwak en de temperatuur schommelde. Voor onze vierde maaltijd boekten we halfpension. Omdat ik dit hotel zes maanden van tevoren had geboekt, was de prijs gunstig. Ik moet er wel bij zeggen dat als je echt van westers eten houdt, je het waarschijnlijk wel prima zult vinden, maar na drie dagen kon ik er niet meer tegen; ik verlangde echt naar de acht belangrijkste keukens van China. Tot slot ligt dit hotel vrij dicht bij Casela, Blue Bay en het vertrekpunt voor dolfijnentochten. Al met al is dit hotel een absolute aanrader.

酒店有自己的沙灘和船屋，皮划艇、槳板是最愛，帆板沒時間用有點可惜。追海豚🐬可以在酒店訂，沙灘直接上艇，很方便。
訂了每日早晚餐，晚餐自助天天換主題，看着日落吃晚飯，很舒服。
服務不錯，健身房設施齊。房間不放瓶裝水，灌水點很多，環保又方便，挺好的理念。
典型的度假風格酒店。

酒店的服務有失五星級酒店的水準：
1. 入住時男朋友讓工作人員領着他去認了一下洗手間、健身房在哪裡，被工作人員説他事多（男朋友英語不太好，可能工作人員覺得他聽不懂）。
2. 吃晚餐時向服務員要冰塊，一名叫Gopee的服務員不給。
3. 晚上想泡一杯泡麪，去餐廳問有沒有熱水，兩個工作人員都告訴我吧枱咖啡機可以打熱水，突然Gopee出現在我身後（進餐廳時並沒有看到他，也沒有問他，不知道為什麼他會知道有人想打熱水），不讓我用咖啡機接熱水，原因是“the coffee machine is too fragile for hot water”。
4. 很多服務員喜歡説“you are not allowed…”，讓人不舒服，我花很多錢住度假酒店還需要處處be allowed to do sth？
5. 總之，酒店的位置離追鯨碼頭和鳥公園非常近，且sugar beach是附近酒店中最貴的一家，才選擇的這家酒店，我會期望這樣的酒店可以有相對令人滿意的服務，不可否認酒店還是有非常熱情、態度好的員工，但是總體而言，相比於我住過的很多同等級別的酒店，這家店的服務是我體驗過最差的。我們這次也住了大灣麗世，相比而言lux的服務會好太多。
酒店管理混亂：
1.餐廳不讓自帶飲料不直説，拐彎抹角的，且餐廳的服務員很多都不知道餐廳的規定：在sugar beach住了三天，晚餐的時候會自己帶想喝的飲料，入住時以及前兩天用餐時，很多服務員看到我們的飲料，但從未有人告訴我們晚餐不可以自帶飲料。最後一天突然被告知“no plastic on the table”（因為飲料是用塑料瓶裝的）。我們問其他服務員，是否有“no plastic on the table”的規定，其他服務員均表示沒聽過這種規定，最後問餐廳經理，餐廳經理先説確實有餐廳不能使用塑料的規定，因為公司的“環保要求”，我説那我帶玻璃瓶的飲料是不是就可以了，餐廳經理才説餐廳不可以自帶飲料，且我不可以在我的房間外的任何地方享用自帶酒水。我可以理解餐廳的“環保要求”以及希望通過酒水獲得更多營收，但應該提前告知不可以自帶酒水，而且可以直接説明，而不是先用“no plastic on the table”這樣的理由告訴我不能喝自己的飲料，最後層層詢問才告訴最終原因是餐廳不允許自帶飲料。
2.穿無袖的衣服進入餐廳被要求回房間換衣服（入住時就已經告知，我們也理解，第一天忘記了，我們直接回去換了衣服，後面再也沒有穿過無袖進餐廳），但是用餐的時候還是能看到其他人穿無袖在餐廳用餐。
其他：
1. 酒店的瓶裝水非常難喝，喝起來味道像tap water
2. 吃飯的時候蒼蠅有點多，而且會有鳥搶食物（海島蟲多可以理解，但是依舊有很多酒店可以把蟲子治理的很好；鳥的問題，餐桌上還好，自己注意點就好了，但是看到有鳥飛到餐枱區，直接吃餐枱區的麪包，還是有點不衞生）

Wanneer je verblijft bij La Vieille Cheminee in Chamarel, bevind je je in een regionaal park, in de buurt van Nationaal park Black River Gorges en op 1 min. rijden van Rhumerie de Chamarel. Deze plattelandsaccommodatie voor families ligt op 28,8 km van Flic-en-Flac-strand en op 3,1 km van Watervallen Chamarel.
Loop vooral de recreatieve voorzieningen zoals een buitenzwembad en fietsenverhuur niet mis. Deze plattelandsaccommodatie in koloniale stijl biedt ook gratis wifi, een open haard in de lobby en een picknickplaats.
Gasten van La Vieille Cheminee kunnen iets lekkers halen bij de kruidenier/supermarkt. Dagelijks kun je tegen betaling genieten van een lekker ontbijt met lokale gerechten, dat geserveerd wordt van 07.30 uur tot 11.00 uur.
Enkele van de voorzieningen zijn meertalig personeel, een wasserij en een kluis bij de receptie. Ter plaatse heb je gratis parkeerplaatsen.
Trakteer jezelf op een verblijf in één van de 6 individueel gedecoreerde kamers met een open haard. Alle kamers hebben een gemeubileerd balkon of terras. De keukens beschikken over een koelkast, een oven en een kookplaat. Er is wifi (toeslag) op de kamer als je op het internet wilt surfen.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful resort. The team surprised my wife with a lovely birthday celebration even though we never informed them — a thoughtful gesture that truly reflects their hospitality.
After spending 10 days in Mauritius and staying in 3 different resorts across the island, this was by far the best. If we return to Mauritius, this will be our first and only choice.
The resort is calm, comfortable, and offers great privacy. The staff are extremely professional and kind. There are four diverse restaurants, a spa, and several excellent facilities.
Simply the best — highly recommended.

The room had a wide bed with a comfortable mattress and pillows, a wardrobe, and tea and coffee were left daily. There was a kettle, but no water was provided. The room was well-lit. The shower and plumbing were old, but there was always hot water. Beach towels were provided. We only had breakfast, but there were no vegetables at all. Fruit options included apples, pears, oranges, watermelon, and pineapple. The hotel is close to the beach. The grounds are very beautiful, but there are a lot of coconuts on the palm trees, and they fall. The hotel staff was very friendly. We rented a car for the entire vacation, and there was always parking. The WiFi was good. Overall, the hotel is not bad; they could add vegetables to the breakfast menu, remove the coconuts from the palm trees, and replace the showers and plumbing. There are also a lot of cats on the grounds; if you go, bring cat food.

CChistyaHotel is beautiful! And the beach and water are probably the best on the island!!! The dinner in the hotel is always different, not to say about breakfast. Choose a room with a view to the beach and your trip will be even better! There are many activities in the hotel - sapa, kayaki, catamarans, too you can travel to snorkeling even every day, but it is pre-recorded. All this is included in the cost of accommodation !!!

JJuliyaIf you want to take a break from the hustle and bustle, then this is the place for you. A small and cozy hotel surrounded by greenery. The staff is friendly. Breakfast is ordinary, you won’t go hungry, alcohol and water are paid, order from the menu. Beach towels are available for a fee.
There are no cafes or restaurants near the hotels, no shops, 10 minutes walk from the main road. The location will be convenient if you plan to see the sights of the southern or western part of the island.

1. When checking in, my boyfriend asked the staff to take him to find out where the restroom and gym are, but the staff said he was too nosy (my boyfriend's English is not very good, maybe the staff thought he couldn't understand).
2. When I asked the waiter for ice cubes during dinner, a waiter named Gopee refused to give it to me.
3. I wanted to make a cup of instant noodles in the evening, so I went to the restaurant to ask if there was hot water. Both staff told me that the coffee machine at the bar could get hot water. Suddenly Gopee appeared behind me (I didn't see him when I entered the restaurant, nor did I ask him, I don't know why he knew someone wanted to get hot water), and didn't let me use the coffee machine to get hot water, because ”the coffee machine is too fragile for hot water”.
4. Many waiters like to say ”you are not allowed...”, which makes people uncomfortable. I spend a lot of money to stay in a resort hotel, and I still need to be allowed to do sth everywhere?
5. In short, the hotel is very close to the whale-chasing pier and the bird park, and Sugar Beach is the most expensive of the nearby hotels. I chose this hotel because I would expect such a hotel to have relatively satisfactory services. It is undeniable that the hotel still has very enthusiastic and good-mannered employees, but overall, compared with many hotels of the same level I have stayed in, the service of this hotel is the worst I have ever experienced. The hotel management is chaotic:
1. The restaurant does not allow you to bring your own drinks. It is not direct, but roundabout, and many waiters in the restaurant do not know the restaurant's rules: I stayed at Sugar Beach for three days, and I brought my own drinks for dinner. When I checked in and had meals in the first two days, many waiters saw our drinks, but no one ever told us that we could not bring our own drinks for dinner. We booked a room with ocean view, its terrace goes straight to the road, but no noise at night.
