"I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days over the weekend, and I chose this accommodation close to the port for my trip to Naoshima, which was great!
- It's right in front of the airport limousine stop.
- Hyogomachi shopping arcade is just across the street, making it easy to visit day and night.
- The port is only a 10-minute walk away, which was perfect for going to Naoshima.
- JR and local subways are also close by, so you can just walk and take them.
- Rinkai Park is also within easy reach, just 3 subway stops and 200 yen away.
- There are various Udon restaurants.
- I even bought two parasols for only 590 yen at a JR shop – they were so cheap, haha!
I'd love to come back again. The location is excellent!"

ZZhentianThis is definitely the hotel to stay at in Takamatsu! It's right next to the JR station, and the lobby is very luxurious. Even though the room is compact, it's still quite spacious. The breakfast is also delicious, and you can enjoy views of Takamatsu Port through the large window. It's the perfect choice for island hopping!

GGuest UserWe stayed in a triple room this time, which had a balcony. They helped us set up the futons for dinner. The room was clean and tidy, and the sodas and snacks in the room were complimentary.
Both dinner and breakfast were kaiseki multi-course meals. The ingredients were fresh and very satisfying.
There were two free massage chairs on our floor, and a stargazing area on the rooftop. We could actually see stars at night, and it was incredibly quiet and comfortable.
The hot springs offered both indoor and outdoor baths with a beautiful environment and full amenities, including free popsicles.
In the lobby, there was a self-serve marshmallow roasting station with unlimited marshmallows. There was also a souvenir shop.
A special reminder: the latest dinner time is 7:30 PM, so you must check in early. We drove there, and it was already dark. Be careful to turn at the intersection by the road, as there aren't many lights, and you might miss the entrance.

JJesse CCCToyoko inn has always been a reliable stay for me. When you don’t want to do a love hotel or hostel but for whatever reason don’t find it sensible to book something more luxurious you can find a brand hotel like Toyoko at a reasonable price. Those who stay regularly know the perks (free face wash haha) - but this one in particular has a very nice view of the sunset over the bay. It’s also right across the street from the train station. Solid.

There are also flower hot springs and all-you-can-drink Japanese sake. It is an extraordinary experience. Highly recommended!

DDaily happyDuring my recent trip to Japan, I had the pleasure of staying at a hotel that also serves as a wedding venue — and from the moment I arrived, the level of service was simply impeccable. The staff were not only gracious and professional, but also went out of their way to assist me at every turn, despite my lack of Japanese language skills. Their warm hospitality left a lasting impression and made me feel truly welcomed and cared for.
Though the room was compact, it was exceptionally clean and thoughtfully arranged. As a solo traveler, I found the space more than sufficient — cozy, comfortable, and a fantastic value for the price. It truly struck the perfect balance between affordability and quality.
A special mention goes to the amenities: the hotel provides a well-stocked amenity station at the reception, where guests can freely pick up whatever they need — a detail that reflects the hotel’s attention to guest convenience.
While the location is a little removed from the city center, this wasn’t an issue at all for me, as I had a rental car. The added bonus? Free parking on-site, which made my stay even more convenient and budget-friendly.
Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in so many ways. With its blend of elegant ambiance, exceptional service, and thoughtful touches, it became a peaceful and comfortable base for my journey — one I would gladly return to and wholeheartedly recommend to fellow travelers.

GGuest UserIt was a simple all-you-can-eat buffet of strawberries, so if you like strawberries, you should definitely go. They apparently grew their own strawberries, and they served five varieties at dinner and three at breakfast. They were simply delicious.
It's rare, isn't it? Normally, it would be too expensive, so it feels original.

Service - Receptionists are friendly and welcoming. Staff working for breakfast buffet are diligent and friendly;
Hygiene - Hotel room was generally clean and up to hygiene standard. No smoking smell among the entire hotel.
Size - Hotel room is not so big but still reasonable, with all necessities ready for use such as a kettle with tea set, slippers, bathing clothes, toilet accessories. Dedicated space for opening suitcase is provided.;
View - A window with a city view. You will have either sunrise or sunset view as a bonus of your stay!
Breakfast - Plenty of Japanese and Western choices of quality food and drinks which kicked off your morning with great satisfaction!
Dinner - We did not eat in the hotel restaurant. But a 5 to 10 minute driving will give you plenty of restaurant choices with good food;
Onsen bath - Although it is an artificial onsen bath, it is definitely a bonus for the stay, especially when you are paying similar price for a nearby hotel with no onsen bath.
Our two-night stay was better than expected and this hotel is definitely underrated in this price range, possibly due to the location being far away from Takamatsu city centre. Again, this hotel is highly recommended if you are having a road trip!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is fantastic. It's a 10-minute walk to Kochi Station, and the airport shuttle bus stop is right outside. The famous Love Bridge is also just behind the hotel. The shopping street is only a few minutes' walk away, making it super convenient for eating, browsing, and shopping. Hirome Market is also nearby. The front desk staff were very patient and thoughtful. The breakfast was good, and they had delicious bonito. Plus, the room windows actually open! I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kochi.

WWenWen Hovery happy stay! staff very helpful we are very appreciate, just the staff only can speaks little english, we use the apps translator so still very smooth. from airport to hotel, you can take the limousine bus, ticket buy ar the machine, bus stop just right outside at No.2 platform, has airport staff might guide you, travel time about 20-25 minutes can get there, the stop just right at the hotel, the market street just behind the hotel, Takamatsu shops testaurant closed quite early, most of that closed about 8, just some abit late.. if you want to find dinner restauant must go earlier. many Izakaya (居酒屋) around the hotel but they needs to book reservation, walk in almost full!! Car park is ¥1400 per night, outside car parks is more cheaper but inside the hotel that convenient if you bought some stuff 😆 but only few inside, no advance resersations, its first come first served every night, so u have to go early to get the parking
