The owners of Lata Hotel are extremely kind and very welcoming ! They came to pick us up at the airport and showed us all the key highlights of Nukuʿalofa !
They also cooked amazing food for us, including lots of fresh seafood, we still remember the huge lobster and crabs we ate there !
Would highly recommend staying at Lata Hotel !

The hotel is in a great location. The rooms are good standard for Tonga, but they could be cleaned better. There were multiple cockroaches in our room and common bathrooms are very dirty. Breakfasts are good and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Si viajas solo, este alojamiento es una buena opción dentro de un precio razonable y de la poca oferta de alojamientos que encontrarás en Tonga. La relación calidad/precio es buena para las opciones que vi en Tonga, si bien, no hay aire acondicionado (dispones de ventilador) y el baño es compartido; pero dar el salto a algún alojamiento que ofreciera estos servicios incrementaba el precio en mas del doble.
La ubicación no es demasiado buena ya que caminando son 50 minutos hasta la ciudad, aunque por unos 10 Panga (unos 3,5 Euros) podrás ir en taxi sin ningún problema; ellos lo pedirán.
El personal y la limpieza bien, agradables y dispuesto a ayudar en cualquier cosa que surja.
En general mi experiencia fue buena.

Wanneer je verblijft bij Tonga Holiday Villa in Nuku'alofa, bevind je je bij de zee, in de buurt van Ancient Tonga en op 3 min. rijden van Interisland Ferry Terminal. Dit pension ligt op 4,9 km van Talamahu Market en op 5,1 km van Koninklijke Graven.
Plezier gegarandeerd dankzij fietsenverhuur of geniet van het uitzicht vanuit een terras en een tuin. Dit pension bevat ook gratis wifi, een televisie in de gemeenschappelijke ruimte en hulp bij uitstapjes/tickets.

As for fruit, there are two large supermarkets in the town. I went to the supermarket and bought some cold snacks. It was very comfortable to eat in the room facing the lake. The room was a lake view room and the scenery was very beautiful. It's a pity that the room only has dinner plates and no kitchen utensils. It would be more perfect if there are kitchen utensils.

JJamesThe hotel is across the sea from a road. There is a more upscale restaurant below. The number of rooms on the second floor is not large and the room is clean.
If you choose a sea view room, it will be better. You can see the first ray of sunshine in the world when you get up early, which is worth it.

GGuest UserIf you're traveling solo, this accommodation is a good option, reasonably priced, especially considering the limited lodging choices in Tonga. The value for money is decent compared to other places I saw in Tonga, though there's no air conditioning (you do get a fan) and the bathroom is shared. However, upgrading to a place with those amenities would more than double the price. The location isn't great, as it's a 50-minute walk to town, but you can easily get a taxi for about 10 Pa'anga (around 3.5 Euros); they'll call one for you. The staff and cleanliness were good; they were pleasant and willing to help with anything. Overall, my experience was good.
