"The Pullman Weifang is always my hotel of choice in Weifang, The European menu in the Cafe is a life saver serving anything from German sausages to burger or pizza to steaks. The buffet is equally good in the main restaurant where I enjoyed great lamb chops and drinks are included in the price which is a welcome relief. The hotel is located next door to a nice shopping mall and the rooms are large and spacious. The gym is extremely well kitted and the pool is amazing."

"I have no complaints about the hotel. We liked the interruption at your place. Very friendly, kind staff. The rooms are clean and everything is functional. You even asked during the cleaning of the room, usually in other hotels the cleaning comes by itself and knocks on the door, while the guests sleep. Your hotel respects the rest of guests and it's nice! Lunch tea and other bonuses for guests are also pleasant. We put the fruit in the room and changed the refrigerator on time. There were queues in the canteen in the morning, but now there are holidays and there are a lot of people in the hotel, it's understandable. There is a lot of food in the dining room, in most cases it is Chinese, but foreigners can also find something to eat for themselves. Thank you for your care and good rest🙏🏻💞"

"I found what looked like an engorged tick or bedbug crawling up my bed. The hotel is pretty and I booked it for 1 night as a luxury treat so I could get a good rest for my layover stop to another destination. My room smelt like stale smoke unfortunately, though I had asked for non-smoking. I paid extra on my booking for breakfast and had to wake up at 6am, eat breakfast at 6.30am and go to the airport at 7.20am. My room had a bathtub so I took a bath before bedtime and went to bed at midnight, I got up to go switch the lamp off at 1am and found this bug crawling up the side of my bed going towards me. I think it's either a tick or a bed bug, the body was full of blood. It had 6 or 8 legs, difficult to see but I took a video which doesn't allow me to upload. I don't have any problems with normal bugs such as spiders, but if it is a tick or bedbug it is a big problem. I was really worried there were more hiding inside the bed, I called reception for help and they looked at the bug which I caught in a glass cup. They apologised deeply and changed my room, so I had to move at 1.30am. I explained I was already tired and have to wake up early. In the new room I was unable to sleep as I kept worrying about bed bugs. I got up multiple times to check my bed. And there was a noisy couple next door talking loudly until very late so I couldn't sleep. For a luxury hotel you should not need to loose a whole night's sleep because you are worried about bedbugs or ticks biting you. Nor should be able to hear noise from other guests through the wall. I was extremely exhausted the next day and did not have any appetite. I asked if they could refund the extra I paid for breakfast because I couldn't eat it, but they said it wasn't possible. So I forced myself to try eat 1 egg and some small rice porridge but couldn't finish it. Really expensive to pay for breakfast and hardly eat, it's a shame they couldn't refund the breakfast considering I had no sleep. For a 5* hotel, I would like to have good rest and peaceful sleep. But it was not like that. The staff were very kind and helpful, but it's not so easy to travel here alone. It was not easy to book a taxi for the following morning to the airport and it took 40 minutes of assistance, the man was very kind and helpful, but the hotel should make an easier system for foreign guests to book taxi. When I first arrived in Jinan airport, I had no idea how to get to the hotel. There is no ATM inside the hotel so you cannot withdraw cash, and you cannot pay with foreign card to book a taxi. The shangri-la website did not provide any details for public transport. It simply said bus transfer was available but did not say which number bus. I would give the details here but I have forgotten the route name and bus number now as it was hectic and I was very tired, sorry. I had to waste a lot of time trying to ask for help at the airport as the staff did not speak English. Luckily someone helped me. The bus will cost 20yuan and take you into the centre where you will see the intercontinental hotel and a large shopping mall on the left side of the bus, get off at that stop, it takes 1 hour. From there it's only 5 minutes walk to shangri-la. For a big hotel they should provide easy instructions on the website to guests. The staff apologised deeply for the bug on the bed, and offered 10% reduction of the room rate. Although when I checked out no refund was given and they didn't mention anything about it, I think they just charged full price. Personally I think 10% is not enough anyway. Nobody wants to change rooms at 1.30am because of bugs crawling on the bed. I didn't get any sleep at all and felt itchy because I kept thinking about bugs and couldn't eat the breakfast. I was absolutely exhausted the following day so I was unable to do anything at my next destination and had to waste 1 day more to rest. Unfortunately not an easy experience at the shangri-la."

"Our trip to Daming Lake was in December and a low season for travellers to this part of China. The hotel was located within the lake scenic zone and thus you need to arrange for the hotel for a transfer. After that from the hotel it is just a few minutes walk to another parking lot where you can easily get a didi ride. Note these are two different carpark. Free parking is available. From the our room terrace we could see the occasional boat moving past on its way around the daming lake region, note it is not noisy at all. The from the hotel you can easily access the lake’s sight and just a couple of minutes away from the pagoda where in the evening you could see lots of people in hanfu taking pictures as the lights get lit up level by level. From the hotel there is a short walkway whereby you can reach the main road where you can find all kinds of eateries , supermarket, spa , shopping etc. it sure beat staying in downtown Jinan. Strongly recommend this place if you are a tourist planning visits to the major attractions in Jinan."

"De incheckervaring is erg goed. Het hotel ligt op een goede locatie en is goed bereikbaar met het openbaar vervoer. Er zijn veel bezienswaardigheden in de buurt, waardoor u tijd bespaart met taxi's en files. Een standaard vijfsterrenhotel met complete faciliteiten, goed onderhouden en unieke accenten. Deze keer verbleven we in een kamer aan de noordkant met uitzicht op het Damingmeer in de verte. Het uitzicht was heel weids en maakte ons blij. Het is ook de moeite waard om te vermelden dat de service van het hotel geweldig is. De receptie is zeer efficiënt, de kamer wordt snel beantwoord en de kwaliteitsmanager Connie is hartelijk en gastvrij, waardoor mensen zich op hun gemak voelen en zorgzaam zijn. Als ik in de toekomst naar Jinan kom, zal ik nog steeds voor Jinan Luneng Guihe InterContinental Hotel kiezen"

"Het grootste probleem met dit hotel is dat het water warm en koud is tijdens het douchen. Het water is warm, maar verandert vaak in puur heet water en verbrandt mensen. Ik hoop dat dit in de toekomst zal verbeteren. Het hotel ligt op ongeveer 500 meter afstand van het metrostation. De instructies zijn niet erg duidelijk. Het algehele serviceniveau van het hotel is relatief hoog, vergelijkbaar met dat van een vijfsterrenhotel. Bijna al het servicepersoneel is relatief goed, maar toen ik contact met hen opnam, had één persoon een groot probleem. Maar later nam het hotel ook enkele overeenkomstige maatregelen om de mensen tevreden te stellen. Een ander ding is dat de ramen van het hotel erg vies zijn, waardoor je het landschap moeilijk kunt zien, omdat ze inderdaad bedekt zijn met moddervlekken na de regen. Het lijkt erop dat de meeste hotels hier in Qingdao zo zijn, maar deze voelt meer... Om het nog ernstiger te stellen: je kunt het landschap eigenlijk helemaal niet zien. Kortom, als je het landschap wilt zien, is dat echt niet mogelijk. Dat ik hier vooral voor het uitzicht blijf, kan gezegd worden dat ik enorm teleurgesteld ben. Maar omdat er geen probleem is met het hotel zelf, geef ik het toch een goede beoordeling."

"Ver boven verwachting! De kamer, de service, de omgeving. Vooral de knappe man bij de ingang van de lobby was van hoge kwaliteit, enthousiast en attent bij aankomst en tijdens het wachten op een taxi. Hij gaf gedetailleerde informatie over het hotel en lokale toeristische attracties, en hielp ons met het regelen van taxi's tijdens het Chinese Nieuwjaar. Het fotoshootpakket van het hotel was ook geweldig en het proberen waard. De make-upartiest, fotograaf en retoucher waren allemaal professioneel en enthousiast, en ze namen alle tijd voor ons. Dit heeft zeker bijgedragen aan een nog betere sfeer tijdens het Chinese Nieuwjaar. De Chinese stijl van dit Marriott in Qufu is zeer smaakvol ontworpen."

"We stayed at this hotel while accompanying our child to a concert. Perhaps because it's newly opened, there was still a lingering smell of paint. The facilities were okay, and the toiletries were plentiful and easy to use. The downside was the inconvenience of dining options nearby. Even in the residential area about a kilometer away, restaurants with good takeout options weren't available for delivery, so we had to eat at the hotel. However, ordering food at the hotel was cumbersome; the QR code was on the TV, requiring a Marriott membership registration first, and there wasn't a separate ordering interface for the Rizhao Marriott after registration. This needs improvement. By the way, the gym was good, with complete facilities, disposable wet wipes, water, and towels, but there was no swimming pool."

"As an international traveler also a local group of companys owner I would like to express my appreciation to the newly established local hotel the Wyndham. It's beautiful French style renovation, and the friendly hospitality the staff had offered was quite amazing. Really enjoyed my short stay there, furthermore, the Taishan mountain view and the little duck is perfect for those who enjoyed a little smoke and a great view at the same time. Special recognition and appreciation to Jason Bai, who provided thoughtful and warmly service of my late night arrival."

"Excellent stay experience. A hotel brand stands true for its reputation. My request for early check in was considered without any hassle. Was pleasantly surprised especially after a long journey. Could not use other services such as spa, gym etc. breakfast varied and really delicious ! Loved the design of room balcony and the view very much ! In room dining was quick and pleasant."
