2-Starhotels in Ehime Prefecture, Japan

"I was there at Jan 2024, and only stayed there for 2 days. The staff there can speak English, and were nice. The second day I stayed there, the staff offered me to have hotpot with all the other people living in Fujiya, an unforgettable experience I treasured and will forever remembered. Even though it is a proxy of a Japanese family, it did feel like I have experienced the Japanese hospitality and friendliness. There were some interesting characters, who may or may not frequented Fujiya, whom I had the pleasure to have this hotpot together. The facilities are not the best, but the basics necessities were there and no complaining from me, they have an AC there, comfortable enough for me. The staff did explain that there is only one shower, so we might have to wait for the person to finish. However, since the location is so close to Dogo Onsen, they did recommend to go there instead, and after all, it was why i chose this location in the first place. Location is really close to the Dogo Onsen and the Yuzuki-Castle ruin, which was a lifesaver for me I would say that all other sight-seeing locations are within walking distance as well since I did walk to all those interesting places. However, I do realize not all people like to walk like I do. To counter that, Fujiya is practically next to the tram station, which you can use it to go to many places in the city. tldr, would recommend"

"It was really quiet when I was there, but everything was clean and comfortable. The breakfast is toast with jam and instant noodles. The location is very convenient as well it's close to the train station, you can check in at the restaurant on the first level. They don't speak English but have a written instruction."

"The place is really accessible to Dogo Onsen. It is clean & the front desk staff is kind & welcoming. She also tried her best to talk to me in English. My only problem is that since the divider is so thin that I could hear the loud snore of the person in the room & the sounds in the next room. Hoping they would provide earbuds to their guests or bring your own. Toilets are only two on the 2nd floor, one of them is for both gender which will be troublesome if everyone leaves at the same time. But generally it is a good place to stay."

"The hotel itself feels more like a business hotel, but it's perfect for anyone just looking for a place to sleep, especially since it includes a free ticket to the Dogo Onsen main building and is very reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the area. They also have dispensers for tea and coffee, and the location near the station was very convenient."

"여기는 일단 가격적으로도 메리트가 대박입니다. 저녁이랑 아침도 너무 잘나와요(양이 너무 많고 맛있어서 깜짝 놀람) 밥먹으면 일단 바로 와..여기 가성비 대박이다라고 느끼실거에요. 체크인할때 온천 언제 할건지 여쭤보시고 같이 온 사람끼리만 프라이빗하게 온천 사용도 가능해요. 저는 큰 욕조 썼어요. 물도 따끈해서 좋아요. 그리고 숙소앞이 바로 바다라서 뷰도 넘 좋아요 다만 시내에서 좀 떨어져있어서 차는 렌트하면 좋을거같아요.. 남자친구랑 왔는데 다음엔 가족들이랑 오고싶은 기억에 남을 숙소… 직원분 두분계시는데 두분 다 너무 친절하십니다. 그리고 고양이도 있는데 넘 귀여워요….. 다음에 꼭 또오고싶은 숙소에요"

"Excellent and affordable hotel to stay after cycling from Onomichi to Imabari. There is an onsen, breakfast included, massage chair for free and drinks from 15:00 to 21:00 . Highly recommend although the room are simple . Location is excellent, just across from the Imabari train station. It is my second time there ."

"The most affordable hotel through out my trip! It was extremely affordable, despite its great location, situated close to both the bus and train station (making it a perfect location after a long journey). The staff is polite, the room is spacious enough and it offer all the amenities of more expensive hotel (like a public onsen and personal hygiene products). Despite a limited variety of options of the breakfast buffet, the quality of the ingreadient and what was offered was excelent. Well worth the price."

"Het oude lettershotel is als een warm hotel. Er zijn overal gevoelens van ruggengraat en oude gevoelens, zoals de gangen van de ruggengraat, de handschoenen van de houten trap en de handdoeken van de ruggengraat, maar het is goedkoop, want het is een goedkope, niet-gegeten accommodatie. De badkamer is ook gedeelde １. Als twee mensen binnenkomen, worden ze gesloten. Het gebouw is oud, maar de badkamer is een paardenkast, de windmolens en de kast in de kamer zijn nieuw en schoon. De muur is erg dun, maar de gasten rondom me lijken erg slim en ik kan een rustige en comfortabele tijd doorbrengen op de avond. U kunt kiezen voor een cadeau voor deze handboeien en een goede service. Omdat ik online reserveer, vraag ik of ik een bewijs kan afgeven, maar ik vraag hem om het af te geven. De locatie is dichtbij de haven van vandaag, maar ik kan ongeveer tien minuten lopen van de station van vandaag naar de winkels."
