Highly recommend this guesthouse suite! Beautifully decorated, incredibly comfortable, and with plenty of rooms. The rooms are clean, spacious, and fully equipped. The bed is very comfortable, and the soundproofing is decent. The location is convenient yet quiet, making for a perfect stay – a truly therapeutic experience!

⭐ 5/5 — A Truly Exceptional, Warm-Hearted Stay at Zengcuo’an Village ⭐ I travel often and have experienced many different types of hotels and accommodations over the years. From 25 Nov 2025, I stayed at Hua Cai Xiao Zhu · Florich 民宿 (环岛南路曾厝垵店) for 12 nights, and extended my stay by another 3 nights because it genuinely felt like home. That alone says everything. 😊 From the moment I arrived, the experience was not just comfortable, but deeply warm and reassuring, thanks to the owner and housekeeper who went out of their way to make sure every detail of my stay was taken care of. 🙏 I stayed in the Huacai Balcony Tub Room on the 5th level. I believe this is the only accommodation in Zengcuo'an that has an elevator. The room was very clean, modern, and thoughtfully equipped. The large bathtub and giant HD projector made every evening wonderfully relaxing. The balcony overlooks Zengcuo’an Village and is just 50 metres from the village church. I even enjoyed a beautiful sunrise at around 6:30am right from my room. 🌄 The location is outstanding. It’s about 200 metres from the main entrance of Zengcuo’an Village, surrounded by everything you could possibly need. There are countless eateries nearby, including my personal favourite right in front of the accommodation — 福鼎肉片小吃店, run by the warm and amiable 美金姐, a 56-year-old local lady (highly recommended!). 😋😋 Convenience stores, fashion and accessory shops, souvenir stalls, luggage shops, spas, travel agencies — and even a McDonald’s — are all within easy reach. 👍👍 Several attractions are also within walking distance, including Pearl Public Beach and Music Square. One of the smartest ways to explore Xiamen is the CNY 50 hop-on hop-off sightseeing bus (24 stops), with the bus stop conveniently located right in front of the village on the right side. It’s honestly the most affordable and efficient way to see the city. What truly made this stay exceptional, however, were the people. 👬👭 The owner, 许老板, is incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. He patiently gave directions, recommended places to visit, pointed out nearby essentials like the bank and pharmacy, and even allowed me to store my luggage while I was away for a few days. When I checked out, I was down with a cold — he not only helped with my luggage, but also personally drove me to the airport, making sure I arrived safely. That level of care is rare. 💯💯💯 The housekeeper, 秀容, is equally wonderful. Always smiling, always attentive, she made sure I was comfortable every single day — from providing extra water, tissues, and towels to quietly checking that everything was in order. Her warmth made the entire stay feel effortless and homely. . One last tip: don’t miss the sunset. Walk across the overhead bridge from the village and enjoy the beach scene between 4:30pm and 6:30pm — it’s absolutely unforgettable.🌻🌷 Overall: highly, highly recommended. It is located a few dozen meters away from the Huaiyuan Building parking lot. There are two parking spaces at the door of the B&B that can be used, so there is no need to drag suitcases of various sizes along the stone road. B&B owners also operate their own restaurants, which solves the problem of dining out. Take a few steps in from the entrance path to Huaiyuan Tower. Then along the stream, you can pass by Yunshuiyao Ancient Town with its big waterwheel and big banyan tree. After walking for more than 1 kilometer, you will reach Hegui Tower. Chatting with the landlord was like family, very cordial. We originally agreed to pay 10 yuan for breakfast per person, but ended up giving away breakfast for the two of us without charge. Each person has a bowl of hot porridge, a meat bun, steamed buns, eggs, and a plate of side dishes. Although it is an ordinary home-cooked meal, it is full of heart. For those who eat greasy meals out, this light breakfast is more considerate. There is a tea field at the door of the B&B, and corn, ginger, and green onions are planted... It is simply used to save the cognition of children who grow up in reinforced concrete houses. Falling asleep to the sounds of insects and frogs at night is like going back to childhood. Each room is equipped with screen windows so no mosquitoes can enter. If you have the chance, you should come back and wander around in a daze.

Two months later, while browsing Ctrip, I suddenly realized I hadn't written my January review, so I'm adding it here. The room was clean and tidy. Dongshan Island is very cold in January, and the room even provided thick blankets. The people at Hai Le Xin are incredibly kind. My roommates from Xinjiang and Chengdu, along with Da Huang and Xiao Hui, went to see the sunrise. A young man even took me to Aojiao on his electric scooter. The owner is also incredibly kind. I want to shout out to the owner! The first night, I couldn't ride an electric scooter, so he lent me his bicycle. When the bicycle broke down halfway, he came to rescue me on his motorcycle and recommended good restaurants along the way. The next day, my electric scooter ran out of power at Aojiao, and he brought me batteries. Later, he took me to other attractions, and when I was leaving, he even took me to the nearby bus stop. I originally expected to spend the New Year's holiday alone and lonely, but my experience here made me feel incredibly pampered. The sea breeze on Dongshan Island in January is icy, but the people at Hai Le Xin are warm and welcoming. When will my next holiday come? I'll definitely come back to Hai Le Xin! 🥰🥰🥰

The room was clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, and the room smelled delicious. All toiletries, including the bath towels, were disposable, so they were safe to use. Any needs were met, including a pick-up and drop-off service, and you could rent an electric scooter. When the owner picked us up at the station, he offered us milk tea after we'd missed our meals. During the May Day holiday, he gathered everyone for a barbecue and chat, and his hands were practically spitting out sparks from the skewers he was skewering. The only downside was being woken one morning by the sound of firecrackers outside. 😂

Really grateful for the free airport pickup. Added their number to my wechat and called them using wechat. Was given directions where to be picked up and asked to send a picture of how I look like. waited at the pickup point and even message them at exactly which location I'm at. Received a call later to ask where am I and also messaged me the car plate number. As the pickup point only allow 8mins of wait time, the driver was pretty pissed when I arrived. I mean, couldn't you have sent a picture of the car and the car plate number earlier? Driver was smoking all the way while driving and I'm unfortunately seated behind him, breathing in all his smelly smoke. He opened his window but that didn't help, the wind has kept blowing the smoke into my face. Luckily it was a short drive. I feel that the hotel should educate their drivers not to smoke while driving. This is so selfish. I got upgraded to a bigger room because they wanted me to give a good review. My room has a big window with the street view. Room was clean and nice. Slippers given. Toilet was badly designed. the shower head faces the toilet bowl and the sewage system is not good. After showering, the toilet flooded. I only realised the next morning that there are some buttons that you can switch on for ventilation in the toilet. The toilet was still flooded in the morning but I think if I have known about the buttons earlier, it would have been dried in the morning. The buttons are in chinese characters. Ask for help to decipher them. The room has a projector but nothing was watchable. You need to have accounts to sign on to their various content provider. The hotel is near a small street market with awesome and cheap food. There was also some supermarkets opened late into the night. Cannot expect much from sound proofing as dead into the night, you can still hear food delivery rider delivering their food to occupants. The driver in the morning did not smoke but when I told him that nobody asked me which terminal I'm going to, he insisted that it is impossible for them not to ask. I also cannot be bothered to argue. Why would I sabotage my own departure plans? Suggest that before the driver drives off, stressed which terminal you are going to. Terminal 3 for International flights, Terminal 4 for domestic flights. And they are not close to one another apparently. Otherwise, the bed was quite comfy. The socket above the bedside table is almost falling off the wall.

This is an apartment located a 6 min drive to the port to kinmen. The area itself is enclosed in like a yacht club boating area. Depending on the season many things maybe closed but it's good if you want to walk along the pier enjoy nature, have a ferry or plane to catch. I am going to review this as an Airbnb style apartment. Since it is an actual apartment your renting. They were a little confused at check in giving us two rooms and having us find our visa in our passport for them to take the photos. The apartment overall is very good for a short stay with a nice view, great TV and quite a lot of space. My husband's phone was able to connect to the internet and it was very good my phone however wouldn't connect. Typical problem with non Chinese phones. Bathroom is also very updated and nice. The bed was also very nice. So as this is an apartment somethings could be improved for longer stays. 1) while there is a huge fridge they don't provide you a second key so the fridge will actually stay on when you leave. Typically I leave one key in and turn off everything manually but they said not possible. So if your staying for awhile everytime you leave your fridge will go off. 2) While there is a stove which is great there isn't any way to cook no small pot pan plate nothing. Which is strange because why is there a stove then. This is clearly an apartment which could be better supplied like an Airbnb. 3) While there is a washer which is amazing and washing powder which is a huge plus there is no way to dry the clothes. There is no drying rack, no fan and the two windows don't provide enough air for drying. There was only 6 hangers as well. 4) While it was quite clean the cabinets in the kitchen, the insulation inside the fridge were not clean at all. You could tell they had recently mopped and we arrived nearly 8pm. The ceiling in certain areas had visable black mold which could be a bigger problem. The faucet in the bathroom also was very loose. However the apartment is great and could be able to accommodate longer stays if these areas are fixed. Modeling more of an Airbnb type stay. As someone who's lived in Airbnb the past 7 years I'm just trying to help. So it you are going for a night or a week and these things don't bother you I can recommend it. For me it was great for short stay.

From booking to check-out, the whole process was very smooth and pleasant. The environmental condition of the hotel is impressive. The boss seems to be newly renovated. This price can live in this grade, which is very good.

I rarely say this on my reviews, but I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this Minsu. When I come back to Quanzhou for another family holiday, I will book this place again. Firstly, the location: It is unbeatable. It is near enough to be in the midst of the action in Quanzhou (near the walking street, eateries, restaurants, shopping etc etc), yet very quiet for us to enjoy a good night’s rest, or a good conversation at night over tea. Second, the nice balance between an authentic cultural home and modernism. We had the entire Minsu to ourselves, 6 rooms in total. Renovated about 3-4 years ago, the Minsu gave us the experience of living in an authentic Chinese inn, yet the amenities were modern….comfortable beds, modern toilets, refrigerators available etc….The courtyards were also beautiful. The entire Minsu was tastefully done…..plus it was spotlessly clean. Thirdly, the owners. They were so friendly and helpful. They met us at the drop off point, and brought us to the Minsu when we checked in, helping to move some of our luggages (and they did the same thing when we checked out). They went out of their way to help purchase traditional puppet show (木偶) tickets (at a small discount somemore). After we checked out, my son left his hoodie in the room. The owners assisted to courier the jacket to the next city we were heading to (we were already in the train at that time). And lastly, every morning and every night, either Mr Du, his son or his daughter in law would invite us to join them for tea. They would then proceed to serve tea the traditional way, while having a conversation with us. They also taught us certain traditions, protocols and rules when serving tea. They have a cat called TangYuan (汤圆), in which the kids in the family enjoyed playing with. The only thing to note is that public transport (via taxis and buses) only can drop you off at a spot about 5min walk away. Also, they provide disposable towels, not the regular towels given at hotels. If it is an issue, just bring your own towels. Otherwise, this place deserves 5 out of 5 stars.

I absolutely loved my stay at Yunhai Yuxi Hotel Apartment! The room was spotless, so clean and beautifully maintained. It felt incredibly cozy, with a calm, home-like atmosphere that made it hard to leave. The view from the apartment was stunning day or night, it’s something you’ll always remember. What really made the experience special was the owner and the staff at the reception, so gentle, kind, and genuinely hospitable. From the warm welcome to the small thoughtful gestures throughout our stay, it felt less like checking into a hotel and more like being cared for by friends. And honestly, for the quality, comfort, and experience, the price is far below the value you get here. It’s a hidden gem that deserves more recognition. Highly recommended I’ll definitely stay again! 🌸
