Een prima hotelervaring, centraal gelegen net buiten het stadscentrum. De kamer was klein, maar comfortabel, met een airco-unit die wel wat lawaai maakte. Mijn kamer lag op de achtste verdieping, maar ik hoorde nog steeds het verkeerslawaai. Aan de overkant van de straat is een foodcourt en er zijn ook restaurants in de buurt. Het ontbijt werd geserveerd in het restaurant beneden, waar eenvoudige Filipijnse gerechten werden geserveerd. De service in het hotel en het restaurant was goed.
Het zwembad op het dak is nog in aanbouw en niet open.

Locatie van het hotel is oke, maar niet op loopafstand van winkelcentra. Je moet een jeep of taxi nemen. De inchecktijd is om 14:00 uur. We kwamen om 11.00 uur aan omdat we een vroege vlucht hadden vanuit Singapore. Als u vroeg incheckt, geldt er helaas een toeslag van PHP 1.200. Daar zijn we niet voor gegaan, het is veel te duur, maar we hebben in de lobby gewacht tot we mochten. Ongeveer 20 minuten later liet de receptie me weten dat de kamer klaar is en dat we niet extra hoeven te betalen. (Misschien werd ze onder druk gezet terwijl we in de lobby waren en ging ze nergens anders heen). We waren erg blij om dat te horen, aangezien we een peuter bij ons hebben. Ontbijt is oke, in een schaal. Heeft waterdispenser @ elke verdieping lobby.

Niet slecht, redelijk goed. Het ligt dicht bij de luchthaven. Het duurt ongeveer tien minuten om er te rijden. De kamer is erg schoon en het sanitair is erg handig in gebruik .

Ik was verbaasd dat dit het oude Hostel 7, dat ik nog nooit eerder bezocht heb, maar ik heb zoveel gehoord. Positieve beoordelingen, ja. Ik woonde hier een nacht. Hoewel de structuur is vrij oud, de schoonheid zeer veel gecompenseerd voor het. Ook de mensen zijn geweldig! Zeer gastvrij, leuk en ingewikkeld. De bar is open 24/7. Een paar stappen van het hostel is een restaurant (onderdeel van Casa Rosario) en een 7/11. Dit is gelegen in de buurt van Saint Theresa's College en ligt op loopafstand van Mango Avenue en Fuente Osmeña Circle. Het zal interessant zijn om hier te blijven voor meer dan een nacht en gewoon het nabuurschap te exploreren.

Toen ik aankwam, was het de t****e dag van carnaval, dus het was er erg druk, waardoor het inchecken iets langer duurde. De portier opende onmiddellijk de deur en hielp met de bagage; de service is waarschijnlijk beter dan in veel hotels in China. Het lijkt erop dat veel lokale Filipino's hier zelf op vakantie komen. De locatie is erg handig voor toeristen, want het hotel ligt dicht bij bezienswaardigheden zoals het Magellaankruis. Er zijn ook diverse winkelcentra in de buurt, dus eten is geen enkel probleem. Bovendien is er op het dak van het hotel een zwembad.

Ik koos dit hotel omdat het dicht bij de luchthaven lag en de prijs redelijk was. Ik moet zeggen dat ik zeer tevreden was, vooral omdat de kamer en badkamer erg ruim waren, het bed heerlijk zacht was en er voldoende stopcontacten en een tafeltje waren. Zowel de kamers als het gebouw waren brandschoon. Het hotel beschikt ook over diverse ontspanningsruimtes, waaronder een zwembad, karaoke, een speelruimte en een prachtig restaurant op het dak met kleurrijke ledverlichting. Er is echter niet veel in de directe omgeving, dus het is het beste om op het terrein te blijven en een taxi te nemen om de omgeving te verkennen. Ik zou zeggen dat de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding bijna perfect was en ik zou hier zeker nog eens verblijven.

Mijn vorige review is nog niet zonlsng geleden. Ik was hier 2 weken geleden ook. Dus lees die eerst even met de 3 extra punten...trouwens ik mocht nu wel eerder inchecken.. 15 min maar .. maar okay... ze hebben het gelezen denk ik.
Ik kan er nu een punt 4 aan toevoegen en dat is dat de koffie op de kamers van een erbarmelijke kwaliteit is.
Vreselijk en dat voor voor zo'n duur hotel.... neem gewoon de nescafé poeder zakjes..klaar.
Verder alles top natuurlijk op 1 foutje na.. dat vergeef ik ze dan maar... mijn kaart werd na 1 nacht om 11am uur gedeactiveerd.. er vanuit gaande dat ik maar 1 nacht zou blijven... ik bleef echter iets langer.

What didn't you like:
A small selection of paid breakfast. There is no buffet and you need to choose from the menu. But you can only choose 1 dish and drink for each one. In other words, don't expect to try even a couple of dishes for prepaid money. Here you can choose only 1 dish for breakfast. The rest is paid. It became clear only on the 3rd day of the stay, as they could not understand how the breakfast system worked.
We were charged 390 Philippine pesos for SPAM (or rather, three slices of local ham). It's expensive for this kind and quantity of food.
•On the last day, the cost of paying for a fruit plate increased. It was 350 pesos, it became 400.
•When ordering tom yam, we asked for additional shrimp (+250 pesos). We were served soup with 7 shrimp halves. We still haven't figured out how many shrimps there would have been without the extra ones we paid for. 🙈We thought they forgot to add additional ones. Then we saw the bill and additional shrimps were deposited.
•Few seafood dishes. Considering that you are 50 meters from the sea. There are also few products with vegetables. We suffered because of this. There was no light food.
•The leaves in each salad were stale.
•Service fees were from everything. We understand when the service fee is for food, but we still don't understand why the fee was for a massage. That is, the fee for the massage + the service FEE for the massage.
•There were also fees for filming shark swimming on our phone. We also did not understand why the fee, if the tour itself cost 7,500 pesos + 300 pesos was a service fee (again, we do not understand why it is not included in the total cost of the tour) + 260 pesos for shooting on the phone;
I was disappointed that when booking an excursion to swim with sharks for 7,500 pesos, fishing was included, but no one offered it to us. They just took us, we swam and brought it back. They say the tour took 5 hours, but it was two and a half hours.
•Hand soap has not been refilled in two days;
• The automatic circulation of water in the pool was rarely turned on, so we swam with flies for two days... trying to catch them from there;
•The performers were an hour late for the first tour, and 30 minutes late for the second. We don't understand why our time wasn't respected.
• One shower wasn't working. There was no water coming out of it;
• Often they didn't bring half of the dish. That is, if you ordered a meat plate with grapes, cheese and crackers, be prepared that I may not bring you crackers, but there will be 3 pieces of cheese. That's for 590 pesos. We ordered this plate twice, and two times we didn't get any crackers. The second time we asked and they informed us. Also, when ordering mashed potatoes with chicken, they brought us chicken without mashed potatoes. We asked and were informed. Everything was already cold. They didn't add a banana to the banana pancakes.
Unfortunately, curtains are not blackout, for those who cannot sleep without them, bring a sleep mask.
I write absolutely all the little things, as I am very careful about the service. I really liked this hotel. In any case, I recommend it wholeheartedly. After all, they communicate politely with you here, there are gorgeous views from a spacious room, and there is a large swimming pool. But I have to write down the little things so that the management can improve the quality of service so that staying at this hotel leaves only positive emotions for absolutely everyone! After all, the hotel is really beautiful!

FFranciluisssWell, I’d go with my honest review here. First of all… I did not expect my room to be this wide and spacious… it’s amazing. Their consistency in cleanliness is impressive as always, as a person who already stayed here in Mandarin for a couple of times (this is my first time travelling solo). Their breakfast never fails, all hits and no misses. The receptionists, housekeepers, security anf staffs are very kind. The hotel is also across from Ayala Center, which is an easy access for shopping and recreation. So far, 10/10. I would love to stay here again when I come back to Cebu. Shoutout kay Kuya Guard who became my friend, we’ll see each other soon. 😌🤝

GGuest UserThe price is very cheap but the place is very clean, they offer good breakfast (silog meals), staff are all well trained and willing to assist. Guard is very helpful. Overall good experience. Will surely book this again when we visit Cebu again. They have a small cafe and you can order good food and drinks. 10/10 :)

BBoris AtamanenkoIt's a mixed bag. The location is excellent, offering a different, good sea every day. For safe swimming, you need to follow the tide schedule. The hotel grounds and plants are very well maintained; they're beautiful and clean. There's a long stretch of beach for strolls. Logistically convenient – there are plenty of cafes, restaurants, shops selling travel essentials, and a market with fresh produce nearby. A major drawback is the large construction site nearby, which can be heard all day, especially in the bungalows nearby. The rooms and bungalows are in fair condition. However, there are some serious downsides: every other day, it was impossible to shower due to low water pressure; when the pressure was low, the water heater wouldn't turn on; and the water had a strong sewer smell. At breakfast, the restaurant won't offer you salt, pepper, or sauces unless you ask. Drinks include juice from concentrate or coffee. Only after a week did we discover they offer tea for breakfast. The breakfast is very basic, and there's no fruit at all, which is surprising given the price of fruit on the island. There was trash on the beach all week, just a little bit, washed up by the sea. It was cleaned up quickly, as it didn't require much effort. But why is the beach cleaned only once a week? The hotel website advertises a shuttle service, but I advise against it. Personal experience: I sent a text message and email to the hotel on time; our ferry departed at 5:30 PM. We arrived on the island around 7:00 PM. We weren't met. We got there ourselves. A hotel security guard met us at the hotel and gave us our room keys. It immediately became clear that the light switch in the bathroom was causing lightning and could shock us, and the water heater wasn't working. The security guard said, ”Take this up with the management tomorrow; my concern is safety.” Information about room problems is not passed on to the management. So, we spent the first night without hot water or power in the bathroom. After we contacted them, they gave us a working room mid-way through the second day. They didn't apologize for the missed shuttle service, and they didn't offer the stated compensation for our independent transfer. Moreover, I received a welcome email from the hotel after only one day of my stay. The hotel has adequate staff, and the people are positive and friendly. However, management, quality control, and leadership are seriously flawed. The rooms are overloaded with text reminders, rules, and restrictions, many of which would be confusing to a normal person. Or does the hotel manager think only people with dementia stay at their hotel? Reminders and restrictions are completely unnecessary if guests are greeted promptly and the necessary information is provided electronically in their native language.

Sea is so clear and filled with life amazing for swimming and snorkeling resort is big and vibrant, staff is helpful and super pleasant. Restaurant in the Coco sunset is very good however the only issue we had was with the restaurant in the coco grove, food was terrible and buffet we had there on saturday night wasn’t worth the money.

Pros:
- It is next to a coral reef and they provide free snorkeling equipment in great condition to use! This is the best reason to stay here, all the snorkeling you want for free and without the need to travel!
- Very cozy environment with about 8 rooms only? You will have lunch and dinner with the same groups of people.
- Food is delicious, slightly expensive but reasonable. From my short experience, the specials of the night tend to be nicer than the normal menu items, but they are all good regardless.
- I love the resort arranged tour. We took a whale shark + secret waterfall tour, and the guide, Alex, was great. It was a personal tour (2 of us) and we had to leave at 4am (we were slightly late and left around 405-410am), and when we reached the whale shark place, it was already quite crowded and we got a queue number of 52 - still pretty good. After taking the queue number, there are a bunch of shops to shop around, but we stupidly forgot to bring any cash, and Alex was kind enough to lend us money for breakfast and souvenirs. He even helped us bargain with the street peddlers when they tried to overcharge us. When swimming with the majestic whale sharks, he used his go-pro to help us take photos and videos, so we just need to enjoy ourselves and pose. Personally, I think the whale shark experience is pretty basic, not well organized and too crowded, but Alex made the experience unforgettable with his personal touches and help.
Cons:
- The worst part is getting there. It took us 5.5 hours to get here from Mactan-Cebu Airport using the private transfer when we arrived around 1230pm Saturday. There was jam to get out of the airport, jam in Cebu city and road works all along the road to Granada. When we returned to the airport in Monday morning 4am, the trip took about 3 hours.
- The massage is in a room with a nice sea view, but the massage was very gentle and I prefer something stronger to sooth the body aches (from sitting in the car for over 5 hours). So I guess this is up to personal preferences.
- The snorkeling was great, but it could be a bit intimidating when it's just the 2 of us snorkeling unsupervised in a large open sea. We did not face any danger, but also did not dare to venture too far and for too long as we city folks are worried about snakes and jellyfishes. We do see fishes jumping out of the sea in the distance, and this could be a sign of predators nearby.
- Adults only. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously and would love to bring our kids here in the future and spend more time here. However, with their adults only policy, we won't be able to do that.

시시백이I was satisfied with the value for money. On the first night, the blanket had a slight odor. Also, if you're a light sleeper, the motorcycle noise at night might be a bit bothersome. However, the nearby restaurants and massage places were good. I booked this room for the Oslob tour, so it was perfectly adequate for that purpose. Breakfast was delicious. I also had dinner, and it was tasty for the price. The New York steak was great!

KK.G.M.We loved staying in this location. Our room was right on the water, giving some breathtaking views morning and night. Lots of storage space and big bathroom. The hotel has a great diving center that also rents all kinds of snorkeling equipment too until later hours. Pool was clean and there was even a tipsy bar within it.
Our only issue was very low water pressure in the shower which made washing long hair ia bit challenging.
While you are away from the “mail” street in town, walk us about 8 min and there are few other hotels/ restaurants and activity companies located right next to hotel entrance
