"i have this trip with my family, but the hotel cannot arrange sames floor for us to stay. furthermore, the pillow was too soft, and we have requested to send a harder pillow for rest. at the beginning it is not successful. this is the first poor experience for me and my family. we never have this kind of experience, the front desk told us they haven't any spare pillow at hotel. further more they told me it is not their style to offer extra pillow for this guest to have a better bed time. after a while, they cannot sent us harder pillow for slepp. it is unbelivable, how a hotel offer this kind of service."

"If you look for a nice quiet place for a relaxing stay, this is a superb ryokan in the area that I would recommend. The ryokan building is beautifully decorated, despite its age. I particularly appreciate the sincere service from the manager and hosts. You can rely on them to take care of your stay. They could also provide pick-up and drop-off service at Utsumi Station. Dinner and breakfast were well-prepared with natural ingredients. Not only are they delicious but also presented nicely. The lobby also provides complimentary drinks and snacks - you can enjoy a little footbath there with a glass of whiskey and some nuts. Of course you cannot miss the marvellous scenery of the beach. The only downside is the public onsen bath was a little small. But in general we loved the stay."

QR check in. May be challenging but getting to room is easy. Hotel does not offer luggage services to another location. Need to go find family mart nearby for assistance. Breakfast is unique. Cafe style instead of the usual hotel breakfast."

Excellent staff service, especially Ms Yamada san, she's super patient, friendly and assures us our luggage will be arranged a few days after our checkout from Comfort Hotel to another hotel in Nagoya so that it will not arrive too early before our arrival as we are backpacking to the other prefectures before returning to Nagoya. Excellent service and nice breakfast too. I fully recommend a great stay in Nagoya... Just that the pillow can be fluffier (too flat) for comfort.

Location is superb at Sakae area, with 24hr Donki just opposite and a Family Mart at the ground floor. Stores around include Uniqlo, GU, Daiso, ABC Mart, 3 Coins +, drug stores etc. It's walking distance around 10mins to Oasis 21 bus terminal for the direct bus to and fro airport, which I find is more convenient than taking the train as would need to exchange subway line at Nagoya station. Front desk service is good and friendly. We love the free Miso soup and drinks provided, and also amenities like facial wash, moisturiser, mask, very thoughtful gesture. They also help to store my luggage when i went for Takayama for a few days before coming back to check in again for another few days. Queen size bed room is considered spacious, bed is comfy. Just that the pillow that they provided is some kind of special functional pillow but is too thin and flat for my liking. Overall a great stay :)

The hotel's location is great, and the front desk staff were very enthusiastic and communicated well in English. The room was a bit small, but the bathroom and toilet were relatively spacious. The only minor drawback was that the washbasin was inside the room, and the sound of running water could easily disturb others sharing the room.

I came for a concert, and the hotel is right behind Niterra, so it was super convenient to just step out. It's also very close to Kanayama Station, which made shopping and getting to the airport easy. For Japan, the room size was decent and had all the necessary amenities. The lobby offered free coffee, and they even thoughtfully wrote a message for concert-goers.

Stayed for 6 consecutive days. The breakfast selection was good, and it's a 10-minute walk from the station. A taxi ride would just be the minimum fare. There are plenty of shopping malls, drugstores, and restaurants nearby. I'll be staying here again on my way back.

Arrived in Nagoya late at night, and it started raining as soon as we got to the hotel. We initially went to the wrong hotel next door, which is part of the same group. The staff were very kind, confirmed our reservation, and even walked us over to the correct hotel for check-in, providing us with umbrellas. There's a convenient store downstairs, which was super handy. The next morning, we walked about ten minutes to Meitetsu Nagoya Station to catch a bus to Takayama. I'll definitely be back next time.

I like this hotel because it's so convenient for shopping and dining. The place is quiet at night. Breakfast is served at the restaurant in front of the hotel but it's not really buffet style. There are 3 sets to choose from. There's a salad and drink bar. Parking is at a shopping center around the corner but there is a parking lot directly in front of the hotel which you can unload your bags: 300yen for 15mins There's a coin laundry on the 8th floor. It's a wash/dry combo which is very good as it saves time and you can even set a code to lock it to prevent theft. Hotel will provide you a discount ticket so make sure you ask for it before you exit the car park. The discount ticket is worth at least 1000yen if you are parking overnight.

Very close to Sakae, about a 10-minute walk. You can find both budget-friendly and high-end shopping there. The airport bus stop is super convenient: turn left out of the hotel, cross the street, then turn right, and it's just a three-minute walk. The subway is also nearby, about a five-minute walk. I booked a twin room, which came with two chairs and a small round table. The space isn't huge but it's perfectly adequate. There's a laundry room, an ice machine, and even a microwave on each floor. The only downside was the long wait for the elevator.

The hotel is located in a very convenient central area, about a 15-minute walk from Nagoya Station. There are plenty of convenience stores and good restaurants nearby, which made it easy to find food or buy anything we needed at any time. The room size was reasonable — not very spacious, but comfortable enough and equipped with all the necessary amenities. Housekeeping was done daily, so everything stayed clean and tidy throughout the stay. The breakfast buffet was simple but good, with a variety of easy-to-eat dishes. It was not overly fancy, but enough to start the day comfortably. The only downside was the attitude of one receptionist. Instead of paying attention to guests, they seemed more interested in chatting with coworkers, and their expression felt quite cold when answering questions. It honestly made me wonder if I had done something wrong somehow =)) Aside from that experience, the overall stay was still pleasant.
