Tegenover het hotel ligt het National Highway Passenger Bus Station, dicht bij het Nantou Passenger Transport en het treinstation van Taichung. Er zijn veel restaurants en buurtwinkels in de buurt; het is op loopafstand van de Miyahara Eye Clinic, Taichung Park, de Yizhong-avondmarkt en andere bezienswaardigheden nachtmarkten. Het is echt superhandig. De kamers zijn volledig uitgerust en in de lobby zijn wegwerpbenodigdheden aanwezig die de gasten kunnen ophalen, waaronder: pantoffels, wattenstaafjes, scheermessen, douchemutsen en kammen. Het hotel biedt ook waterdispensers in het restaurant.

Very nice hotel with affordable price. The location was perfect to me. Also contains gym and swimming pool free of charge, I did use them because I was busy. Next visit to Taipei will be in the same hotel.

Everything was great. I loved the location, it’s very close to the train station and bus stops, with a FamilyMart nearby. There isn’t much to eat or see in the immediate area, but a 15-minute bus ride or a 15-minute walk can take you anywhere you need to go (west central district, or any night market!), so we were fine with that. The room was clean, and the service was great. Nothing to complain about.

not bad . location is very good and very near taichung train station. Room is a little old but still value for money. amenities are so so. Overall still good!

I recently stayed at Sky One Hotel, and I must say it was a wonderful experience. The Hotel is located in the convenience transportation Location. Easy for traveling to other areas, close to the hotel also having fast food and convenience store. The hotel itself is clean you can leave the luggage before your check in. I like the common area next to the reception. It's nice and having snack and drink for Hotel guest. Quite impressive. If Having a chance will come back again.

Dit was mijn t****e verblijf. De tweepersoonskamer was klein maar erg schoon. Ik was vooral blij met de vele stopcontacten (8 in de kamer en nog eens 2 in de badkamer! 😆) Super handig; ik kon mijn oplader makkelijk opladen. De douche had een fantastische waterdruk, heerlijk comfortabel! De douchekop had meerdere standen, dus er was er zeker een die bij mijn behoeften paste. 👍 Het tweepersoonsbed was erg comfortabel; ik kon me ongestoord bewegen. Al met al een geweldig verblijf. De receptie was 24 uur per dag bemand en iedereen was erg beleefd en vriendelijk. Ik zou hier zeker nog eens verblijven!

Chance Hotel in Taichung is exactly what you’d expect for the price of a 3-star hotel, and there’s nothing to complain about at this price range. The hotel is clean and provides all the necessary amenities. The most important highlight is the location—it’s right next to Taichung Train Station. There are also many restaurants and convenience stores nearby, which makes everything very convenient. Overall, a good value stay.

The room was clean and seemed newly renovated. They offer free public parking, which worked out great for my plans. Breakfast and coffee in the morning were good enough to start the day. The hotel’s also within walking distance of the night market. The only downside was that my room faced the road, so it was a bit noisy from traffic, and I could hear sounds from the next room.

No bidet spray, hand soap, hair conditioner, shower cap, toothbrush, toothpaste etc. but there’s water dispenser on every level so saved us some money from buying bottled water. Overall it is still provide pretty comfortable stay & good base to be at for exploring Kenting & Hengchun. It’s easy to find this hotel. From Taoyuan airport we took Airport Express Train to Taoyuan HSR (High Speed Rail) station & took HSR to Zuoying THSR in Kaohsiung, then took Kenting Express Bus 9189 at bus stop #2 along the road outside of Zuoying THSR station (need to top up enough fare in your Easy Travel card at the station beforehand otherwise pay cash to bus driver). Alight at Kenting Police Substation bus stop (get ready to press the bell once you pass Kenting Arch otherwise driver won’t stop for you) & walk into small lane walk a short distance to the back door of Kenting Coast Resort. There’s a restaurant called Magic Kitchen for quick breakfast a very short walk to the right of hotel front door. We managed to book half day (4-hr) tour with the help hotel receptionist on both days, just tell the driver where you want to go for sighting/experience/food. We paid NTD 2200 for each half-day tour. We actually checked out early in the morning on the last day & did a 4-hr tour of Hengchun old town with our luggages in the car & get dropped off at Hengchun interchange bus station to catch Kenting Express Bus back to Zuoying THSR. But we discovered actually you can deposit luggages at the Hengchun interchange bus station for a fee then walk around Hengchun old town yourselves without worrying about lugging luggages around haha.
