"De duplexkamer met twee eenpersoonsbedden en hangende stoel in Xianxiu in Wangxiang Valley was geweldig! Perfect voor een gezin van drie, je verblijft midden in de geheime vallei, wat de ervaring onvergetelijk maakt ✨
De duplexindeling is super gelaagd, en de hangende stoel beneden is de kers op de taart. Heerlijk om daar weg te kruipen en van het prachtige uitzicht buiten te genieten, pure ontspanning. De twee eenpersoonsbedden zijn breed en comfortabel, het beddengoed is zacht voor de huid, zodat iedereen ongestoord kan rusten met veel privacy. De kamer in houtstijl past perfect bij de bergen en het water. De kamertemperatuur is comfortabel, zelfs in de winter voelde het niet koud aan – er is veel aandacht besteed aan details.
Het hele verblijf was zorgeloos. De butler stuurde van tevoren reisgidsen, beantwoordde vragen direct, je kon snel het park in bij de ingang, en er was een portier om te helpen met de bagage. Inclusief toegangskaartjes en ontbijt. Na het bekijken van het avondlandschap loop je zo terug naar je kamer. 's Ochtends geniet je nog van de rustige vallei, en je loopt zo naar de populaire bezienswaardigheden. Onbeperkte toegang tot het park is super handig. Als je met vrienden reist, boek dan deze plek zonder twijfel. De volgende keer verblijf ik hier weer!"

"This hotel is really fantastic, and we had an incredibly wonderful time here! The hotel's facilities are top-notch. In particular, the clay (pottery-making) facilities are extremely well-equipped. There's a dedicated pottery studio, and we even have instructors who are masters of intangible cultural heritage to teach us. This allows us to fully unleash our creativity and experience the magic of high-quality kaolin clay coming alive under our fingertips.
When it comes to painting colored glazes, it's as if I've transformed into a little painter, using colors to depict the beauty in my heart. The hand-wrapped wontons for breakfast are absolutely delicious. They're not only nourishing but also incredibly tasty. That's why we decided to stay here for three whole days.
The environment is also superb. The ”venting bottles” (a special decorative feature) in the backyard have become my go-to spot for taking photos. The pictures I take there have a great ambiance. The koi fish in the pond are so much fun; they actually follow people around.
The hotel is very close to the ancient street. It's just an 800-meter walk, and you can get there in a few steps. Wearing the hotel's cheongsams (traditional Chinese dresses) for photos gives off a strong vibe of the Republic of China era. I saw many young ladies wearing them. I'll definitely come back here next time!"

"I was completely ‘WOW’ by the services and the cleanliness of my rooms during my stay at Shangri La Nanchang. The cleaners who cleaned my rooms were consistent in maintaining clean and sparkling surface top of my rooms. We were given connecting rooms (2713 & 2714) which made it easier for me to walk over to my children without stepping out of my room in my pyjamas. Manager Mr Hank Zhang ensured my stay was pleasant, convenient and enjoyable for me as he knew that I was staying there for 5D4N with my 3 children. Counter staff Ms Ava Li was friendly and professional in handling my request with thoughtful act and professionalism. Thank you to all the staff in Shangri La Nanchang for making my last lap of the China trip a pleasant, enjoyable and comfortable stay from 21 to 25 December 2024. "Itinerary: 3 days and 2 nites in Nanchang (hotel will be provided)
Location: Close to attractions (you can walk to places like Wisteria Pavilion, Wanshou Palace, Frog Street Nite Market, and Dasi Courtyard), which saves on transportation costs.
Food: There is a whole row of food behind the hotel. Mainly, it's too cold in February, but there are restaurants near the hotel, making it convenient to walk 5 minutes to enjoy the food.
Breakfast: Baofa Gan Cuisine Restaurant, their prices are reasonable.
Dinner: Gan Liu Ji. Jiangxi stir-fry.
Of course, the hotel also offers delicious food, but I didn't get a chance to try it.
Service: Since I arrived at the hotel at 11 PM with a reservation, the hotel staff gave my room to someone else. However, the next day they upgraded me to a room by the window facing the street. I didn't sleep well, so it's better not to do that, even tho I could see the outside scenery. Finally, when checking out, with the hotel's permission, I took the conditioner, shampoo, and body wash because I really liked their subtle fragrance.

"The hotel is nice and a comfortable environment. It's location is a bit out of the way, but not too bad. The rooms are a bit small, particularly compared to similarly priced hotels in bigger cities. (e.g. I came from Shanghai and spent a similar price for a room that was easily 50% larger. Given Shanghai prices, it should have been the other way around.) The breakfast was very underwhelming. Poorly cooked ”western” food that only vaguely looked like what it was supposed to be, and tasted nothing like it. Small selection of lukewarm Chinese breakfast items. Tiny bottles of yoghurt. Very watered down juice."

"We travelled to Lushan as a UK couple wanting to explore the national park. The staff were very helpful and friendly despite the language barriers. At all times they were patient and tried to support us to navigate the hotel and local area. They went above and beyond.
The room was very comfortable and quiet. A little dated but it was clean and the staff tried hard with the little touches like leaving snacks.
It was very appreciated that a shuttle bus was available given the hotel is quite a distance from the main areas. It would've been nice if this was on later in the evening to give people a chance to get back after 9.30pm. Other than that it was a great service.
The breakfast was just OK, a range of options available but we had better quality in other places we stayed.
Would stay again."

"Voor het eerst in Kaiyuan Guantang verblijven was de meest bevredigende ervaring van de afgelopen twee jaar. We kwamen rond 11 uur 's avonds aan bij het inchecken. We brachten onze hond mee en ze hebben ons gratis opgewaardeerd naar een kamer aan de binnenplaats De hygiëne van het hotel is erg goed, en de eerste verdieping is ook niet vochtig. De omgeving buiten de hotelkamer is zeer groot voor het maken van foto's. De service is ook erg goed. De sightseeingbus naar de gate is ook erg snel. Het enige spijt is dat het weer niet goed is tijdens de Dragon Boat Festival-vakantie maak zelfs foto's. Het is jammer. Als het mooi weer was, zouden de honden meer plezier hebben in de tuin. Als het die avond niet regende, werden de honden gek en waren ze zo blij. De volgende keer dat je naar Shangrao komt, ben jij moet nog twee dagen blijven😆"

Nancy and the staff were so kind, helpful and friendly - they shared recommendations on where to visit. The food was absolutely delicious; we recommend ordering lunch and dinner there too. The room was lovely; the view from the balcony was stunning and very peaceful. We recommend hiring Master Yu as the driver; He drove us around the various villages (Wuyuan is his hometown, so he knows all the good places to visit). He is so thoughtful and took our picture many times! The afternoon tea was also very special. We had a wonderful trip!

The Huazhu Wuyuan Yueyuan Wufei B&B is amazing! 👍 The renovation of the old house was meticulously done. A professional designer designed the courtyard, preserving its ancient charm while maintaining elegance and comfort. The rooms are cozy and inviting, ensuring a good night's sleep.
The meals are authentic Wuyuan cuisine, and the proprietress's cooking is exceptional, making the specialties incredibly delicious. Breakfast and lunch offer a complete selection of Wuyuan specialties (pocket carp, steamed pork with rice flour, steamed fish with rice flour, Qingming fruit, etc.). The dishes are made with all-natural ingredients, including cucumber, cowpea, green pepper, and river chicken. The whole family devours every meal!
You can also cycle along the rippling river, amidst the gently swaying blossoms. In the courtyard, you can play pot-to-pot together, creating a truly immersive experience.
The attentive service makes it feel like home! 🥰
The proprietress and her family run the B&B as if it were their own home. Every corner of the old house holds history, every visitor has a story, and every dish the proprietress prepares is filled with warmth.
It is better to come here by yourself after seeing and hearing it. Feel the inheritance of this history and the love for life.

Mateja BokanThis was a very weird hotel experience. Firstly, the staff is great and were very responsive to any issues I had. That being said, the hotel has seen better days. I changed rooms, but both rooms had very dirty carpets and bathrooms which had traces of molding on the silicone connections, and the windows were, in my opinion, small. The showers were clean, but the hairs were not removed for a long time, and the water drained very slowly. During my stay, I even saw a small gecko run across the bathroom... The AC unit is terribly loud too, and I couldn't sleep the first night almost at all because of it. I later got used to it, but it still gave me troubles during nighttime. On the third day, around 8:25, the cleaning staff barged into the room unannounced. Even though I was awake, this created an awkward experience... Later, when they came again, they only quickly knocked before coming inside again... The hotel's breakfast is minimal, and poorly prepared. I'd recommend skipping it, and getting something from the street in front of the hotel instead. The location of the hotel is good, being only a 5 minute walk away from the entrance to the Mount Longhu scenic area entrance.

Shangrao Yuexi New Century Grand Hotel Kaiyuan was an absolute revelation! This Huizhou-style garden hotel, nestled at the foot of Lingshan Mountain, with its white walls, dark tiles, and quaint bridges over flowing streams, felt like stepping into a traditional Chinese ink painting. The lobby, a renovated ancient house, boasts old trees and bluestone slabs everywhere, creating an incredibly serene atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and elegant, furnished with wooden pieces and equipped with smart devices. The bedding is super soft, and you get stunning mountain views right from your window. The service was impeccable; the front desk staff were very welcoming, and the shuttle bus was always available on call. Breakfast offered authentic local specialties like Qianshan hot noodles and Dengzhan Guo, which were delicious. We also got to experience Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) for free, and the courtyard was perfect for photos. Overall, it's a quiet and comfortable place that perfectly blends cultural charm with a relaxing holiday vibe. Highly recommend!

The hotel is in the style of the Republic of China. The rooms are warmly decorated and fully equipped. It snowed on Mount Lushan. The staff called in advance to inform us of the situation on the mountain and the time to take public transportation. They would arrange for a driver to pick us up and turn on the air conditioner and heater in advance. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic and recommended a suitable route for the elderly and marked the order of the tour on the map. There is a table in Jiaohe for breakfast.

We had a great stay here! All the personnel was nice and attentive, we were registered pretty easily. The hotel offers a pick up service , which is quite convenient.
We had a room with a skylight and a balcony, which was the best. In the morning and in the evening you can sit at the balcony and enjoy a nice view. The room is clean and the towels are changed every day. They serve Chinese style breakfast from 7 to 9, see the picture attached. Since we don't know much about local transportation, they gave us a ride to the local transportation hub where we could hop on a sightseeing bus. Once you get back from your trip in the evening, you can have a nice stroll from a busy Guling street area, it's down the hill and it takes you about 15 minutes to get back to the hotel. Overall, it was a pleasure to stay in this hotel, I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to have a real mountain view from their hotel room☺️

BeiliThe service throughout our stay was excellent! Our butler was incredibly thoughtful, helping us with our luggage and taking us to the car park. There's even a special express lane for the cable car, so no waiting in line. Our room offered a delightful view from the window, and with performances happening right below, we didn't have to jostle with crowds in the square. Being able to pop back to the hotel for a rest whenever we got tired from exploring the scenic area was a huge plus – it truly is a hotel right inside the attraction! Plus, free admission to the scenic area for stays within three years makes it incredibly good value for money!

Anonymous UserA perfect stay! The service was excellent, the environment was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. I highly recommend it with five stars! The hotel is conveniently located right next to the Jingsha Cable Car entrance, about a ten-minute walk away, and they also offer a free shuttle service. This made hiking with luggage and a child completely stress-free. The surrounding commercial street has plenty of dining options, making it easy to stock up on essentials. The front desk staff were very friendly and even upgraded our room for free. They explained the map and routes, offering great suggestions. Not only are the rooms thoughtful, but the hotel also boasts a large, fully padded children's play area and a constant-temperature parent-child swimming pool. After a day of climbing, the kids could play to their heart's content, while adults could enjoy a leisurely stroll in the courtyard. In the evening, there was a limited-time landscape laser light show, and the night view was absolutely stunning for photos.
