De service was werkelijk uitzonderlijk 🥺 De kamer was ook erg groot en ruim. Het bad was zeer comfortabel en ontspannend. De service was uitstekend. Ten eerste had ik mijn paspoort in een taxi laten liggen, en de receptie hielp me contact op te nemen met iemand en heeft het succesvol teruggevonden. Ten t****e had ik mijn kleren in het hotel laten liggen en moest ik een telefoontje naar Mexico plegen; de receptie gaf me zelfs hun persoonlijke e-mailadres om de kleren naar me terug te sturen. De service was echt geweldig! De prijs is ook zeer redelijk voor Mexico!

We had a very good stay. While there was a disturbance in the the middle of the night, the hotel acted quickly to resolve the situation and compensate us for the issue. A special thanks to Wilberth at reception for his excellent service. He and the manager Alejandro clearly stood out with their attitude and hospitality, turning a negative experience into what is now a very positive one.

This will be the fourth time I have stayed at this hotel and I will say that it's getting old. The resort has five pools that were all hot. The surrounding beach in the area is 20 ft deep and seaweed and you can't enter the water. Also if you can imagine the hotel makes you check out at 10:00 a.m. which screwed up my sleeping pattern for the day of checkout. What hotel makes you check out at 10:00 a.m.? By the way check in time isn't until 4:00. So if you're staying for one day you only get 18 hours of hotel. Some of the rooms are redone and some of the rooms have got the original flooring from when I stay there the first time around 25 years ago. My room had the original flooring. The first room that reception gave me was on the first floor at the absolute end of the resort. The room was run down and the floor looked like it was buckling a little . The second room reception gave me had a foul odor. Food and drinks at this hotel are extremely expensive. I want to say that a margarita is around 13 to 17 US dollars give me a break. Do not order an a la carte breakfast there because they pick it off the buffet and it's going to be cold. I want to say breakfast is 550 pesos a person. Breakfast was fine but nothing special. They don't offer cappuccino or lattes as a courtesy for breakfast. By the way it takes reception around 15 minutes per customer to check you in. I have stayed at this resort a total of four times and I would not go back. The beach is infested with seaweed farther than the eye can see there's no place swimmable by this resort. I would say it was quite disappointing. By the way they have a little market in the resort and a $6 bottle of champagne in Los Angeles cost $53 in their ghastly overpriced market. Very bad value for money. My third room was acceptable. I do have to say I think the rooms are big and the gentleman that checked me on did give me an upgrade to a balcony on the lagoon side so that was something. I paid a round $140 USD a night with tax and really it was a 85 US dollar hotel at best. It doesn't meet Westin standards. There was also an area with a little chip paint in my room but I'm probably being somewhat nitpicky. The light in the room is also not very bright and made it somewhat hard to read.

Everything was great. We especially loved the pool in the late afternoon when the sun was blocked by the building — it wasn’t too hot. The food was better than we expected. Loved the kids club, and all the activities were really fun. The only downside was that the beach wasn’t as good and gentle as the northern ones, and when it was windy, umbrellas weren’t allowed. The buffet restaurant was also quite hot and stuffy.

The place is convenient if you're going to Playa del Carmen for a short time, the location is perfect, close to everything and at the same time far from the noise, the Walmart next to the hotel it was a plus, it is close to the ADO but you need to check first, if you go to ADO turista it will be far away, like 15 minutes walking and if you go to the other ADO terminal if will be just a few minutes.

Bungalow direttamente sulla spiaggia, arredato con gusto, molto accogliente e pulito. Ci ha ricevuti Massimo ed è stato davvero gentile, amichevole e professionale, con consigli, suggerimenti e un cocktail di benvenuto. Colazione ottima e anche i piatti che abbiamo assaggiato per pranzo squisiti! Ceviche super! Massaggio con Perla consigliatissimo! Uniche due cose che si possono mogliorare: la location del massaggio e l'acqua della doccia non sempre calda.

Het ontbijt was fantastisch - absoluut het hoogtepunt van de reis! We hebben op het strand ontbeten met het mooiste uitzicht! Het ligt een flink eind van het stadje, maar het strand is prachtig! Een van de mooiste strandgebieden die we gezien hebben en we hebben tijdens onze vakantie een paar keer langs dit deel van het eiland gewandeld - heerlijke, ontspannende muziek en een fijne sfeer zonder kinderen. Goede en vriendelijke service, mooie en schone kamer. Het enige minpuntje was dat we moeite hadden om de ingang te vinden en moesten wachten op het personeel om in te checken. Houd er rekening mee dat de wegen behoorlijk onder water kunnen komen te staan ​​als het regent, maar je kunt er wel doorheen komen.

Het inchecken verliep prima, de man bij de receptie was vriendelijk en het leek een perfecte vakantie te worden, maar later gebeurden er twee dingen... 1. Ik liet een deel van mijn geld in een tas zitten, en iemand haalde er nog 100 dollar uit, waarschijnlijk denkend: die ”gringo” moet dat niet uitrekenen... Slechts één dag voordat ik meedeed, wisselde ik daar en de volgende dag na middernacht was er 1 bankbiljet minder. Natuurlijk kon ik het niet bewijzen, dus het heeft geen zin om erover te vertellen. 2. Ook stal iemand 1 chocolaatje (dat is geen 100 dollar, maar dat was een cadeau, dat hij uit een ander land had meegenomen - als een cadeau van de reis)... 3. En tot slot was er een incident waarbij drie personeelsleden in onze afwezigheid in onze kamer rondneusden. En we zijn te vroeg teruggekomen. Ze kwamen met smoesjes dat ze zich zorgen maakten over de veiligheid. Mijn vriendin had haar jas in de kluis laten liggen. Maar dat is geen excuus voor het feit dat ze onze ruimte binnendringen en onze deur open laten staan zodat iedereen het kan zien. De schoonmaaksters hebben onze kamer min of meer goed schoongemaakt (soms vergeten we het balkon 😅) en ze hebben ons beddengoed nooit verschoond, maar we hebben er wel 17 nachten doorgebracht... De goede locatie, het strand en de touroperator in het hotel compenseren dat enigszins, maar niet genoeg om je veilig en comfortabel te vullen.
