Ik heb een fantastisch verblijf gehad in Hotel Sudu Araliya in Polonnaruwa! De locatie is werkelijk prachtig, met adembenemende uitzichten en een serene ambiance. Het hoogtepunt van mijn bezoek was het zien van de zonsondergang – het was een werkelijk magische ervaring. Het eten was heerlijk, met een grote variëteit voor elke smaak. Het personeel bood uitzonderlijke klantenservice, altijd vriendelijk en attent op onze behoeften, waardoor het verblijf nog aangenamer werd. Als u op zoek bent naar een rustig uitje met geweldige uitzichten, uitstekend eten en warme gastvrijheid, dan is Hotel Sudu Araliya de perfecte keuze. Een echte aanrader! 🌅🍽️✨

My booking was for 3 Double Deluxe King beds with lake views rooms, and I'm not happy because: The rooms I booked were not the ones I got it. They told me the pictures were wrong, but they are still on the website, so be sure you finally get the rooms you booked. Only 1 of the 3 rooms had lake views, the other 2 rooms were not lake views. TV didn't work in one of the rooms. All the 3 rooms need improvement. I attached the picture of the room it was supposed I got it, but I didn't. I contacted with reception desk 24 hours of arrival day asking for safari prices and they answered me one day after at 21 pm, so if you stay only for 1 or 2 days, this is a really late answer. So be sure when you book and paid for the Deluxe lake view room is the correct one. For other hand, the breakfast amd dinner menu are plenty od good and different choices of food.

I recently stayed this hotel and overall had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. The breakfast was also a nice touch—fresh and with a good variety. However, the only downside was the Wi-Fi. It was either very slow or not working at all during most of my stay, which was a bit frustrating since I needed to do some work online. I mentioned it to the front desk, but unfortunately, the issue wasn’t resolved. If you don’t rely heavily on internet access during your stay, this place is a great choice. But for remote workers or those needing reliable connectivity, keep this in mind

The hotel has everything to be great but staff is not yet trained to deal with client. I had in this place the worst experience ever from the time I’ve arrived in the hotel. The receptionist was rude to me, we had to escalate the situation and then manager come to solve it but it totally messed our night with the reception misunderstanding.

Rooms were ok, beds were very squeaky, when asked to change they were quick to resolve. Changed rooms and the bed linen in the new room had stains. Lucky there were two beds one room so just slept in that. Left as soon as we could. Never again

酒店很安靜，綠植很多，前台的女工作人員還會中文。房間中規中矩，乾淨衞生，沒有拖鞋，WiFi有但上不了網。晚餐準時開始，提前一分鐘進去也不行。餐廳沒有空調，衹有掛壁風扇，我坐的位置風扇有問題不能搖頭，所以吹不到風，晚飯吃了一身汗。斯里蘭卡的晚餐自助都一樣，衹有水沒有其他免費的軟飲，水果有，餐食普通。早餐有果汁咖啡什麼的，衹是8點多去食物已經不多了，不部分客人已經用餐完畢。

Every interaction was warm, friendly, and delivered beyond expectations. The food was outstanding, with rich and flavourful bakery items and beautifully prepared curries that made each meal memorable. Our room allocation and room service were handled with elegance and care. The spacious bathroom, generous amenities, and the breathtaking view added a special touch that we will never forget. Loss property service is admirable. I got my valuable shirt back—honest and True Values at Service by the staff. The evening dinner with our family and friends was wonderfully arranged and thoughtfully catered—an experience we deeply cherished. To Sanath, Janitha, and the entire team: thank you for making our anniversary stay both memorable and heartfelt. A special appreciation also goes out to all service staff, security personnel, and support teams for their exceptional dedication. We are truly grateful and look forward to returning.

The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the staff are very friendly and helpful, which makes the stay feel warm and welcoming. The food is tasty with a good variety of Sri Lankan and international dishes, and the large pool and open green spaces create a calm resort atmosphere that is perfect for unwinding after visiting nearby sites like Sigiriya and Dambulla

ZZwe Lin HtetThe hotel is great except the toilet is outdoor so there were many ants, mosquitos and some insects. That's why when you open for a while to go to toilet then some of the insects are coming into the room. The staffs are very friendly and helpful.
