Hotels met Pools in Vientiane Province, Laos

DO NOT STAY HERE! If you read the reviews you will see that many people complain about items being stolen from there bags. I have a strong suspicion this is the cleaners and instead of cleaning they are going through people’s bags. Upon check in we were warned by the receptionist not to leave any valuables in our room and to take them everywhere with us. Which is not what you want to hear at check in. Anyways luckily we listened to the receptionist as we had seen concerning reviews before staying here. Without surprise our bags had been gone through. Luckily nothing was stolen from us as we were smart enough to remove our valuables. However, still leaving an unsettling feeling knowing items were moved in our bags as they got searched, they even left the zipper in the incorrect position after as seen in the image. Despite this issue there were also a lot of ants in our room and the room wasn’t properly cleaned any time the cleaners entered the room as there were stains left on the counters and floors and I expect the cleaners were too busy trying to steal stuff. Despite these issues it is not the worst place and the location is good but I think if they just got new trustworthy cleaners then this place would be so much better.

Excellent location- few steps to 7-11, mini mart and ATM; plenty of cafes and local food shops along the same street, 5 min to night market. Great breakfast- 5 types of fruits and decent portions of eggs breakfast to choose from. Coffee, tea, juice available during breakfast time. Reception- helpful, English speaking staffs Cleanliness- considered very good, washroom and shower room are clean and not wet. Vibe- mostly teenagers to westerners aged 20’s, who seem get along and enjoy spending time at lobby area during evening till late Downsides 1)AC off from 10am to 6pm; renovation of swimming pool started from 8am and it’s hard to chill or relax at lobby area during my 2 days stay. 2)Sleep- my room is the nearest to lobby area, the guests were loud talking, laughing the whole night till 2am + on my first night( I couldn’t fall asleep at all) the 2nd night karaoke and music bombarded from 9pm to 11pm, thereafter guests continued talking and laughing loud till late. Perhaps earplugs and eye mask could help with coping the downsides, given the overall consideration, it’s not bad for a quick night stay.

This stay truly exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right in the city center. There are plenty of dining options, shopping, and attractions nearby, so getting around is a breeze – you can go anywhere easily. The hotel environment is also very comfortable. The room was clean and tidy, making for a relaxing stay. My favorite parts were the pool and billiards area; it was great to unwind there in the evening, creating a wonderful vibe! Breakfast is served on the 5th floor from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM. It's super convenient to have it right in the hotel, and the variety was good, really starting the day off right. The hotel has 8 floors in total. If you want a more comfortable stay with better views, I highly recommend choosing the Deluxe View Room. The scenery outside the window is truly beautiful and makes for fantastic photos. If you're on a budget, the Economy or Standard rooms are also great value for money. Regardless of the room type you choose, you still get access to the hotel's public areas like the pool and breakfast area, and you can still enjoy the mountain views surrounding the hotel. Overall, the experience is excellent. Overall, it's perfect for a vacation or a trip with friends. I'll definitely be back next time, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

De locatie is erg goed. Je kunt de minibus nemen vanuit Vientiane en uitstappen bij de locatie. Het ligt heel dicht bij het hotel en je kunt er naartoe lopen zonder dat je apart een taxi hoeft te nemen! De service is erg goed. Hoewel ik de taal niet versta, hebben ze mijn problemen zorgvuldig en geduldig opgelost! Het hotel kan tot 19.00 uur een motorfiets huren voor 150.000 yuan, en voor ongeveer 50.000 yuan moet je zelf tanken. (Waar je hier ook een motor huurt, je moet zelf tanken) Ze hielpen me ook met een taxi naar het treinstation voor 70.000. Het ontbijt is erg goed, inclusief fruit, brood, melk, gebakken rijst, pap, enz. Al met al ben ik zeer tevreden! Vergeten foto's te maken!

De kamer is een container, geschikt voor jongeren, want er is een openluchtbar met muziek tot 23:00 uur 's nachts. De receptioniste is een Chinese en een lange West-Afrikaanse buitenlander die in Hangzhou, China, naar school is gegaan. Hij spreekt erg goed Chinees en is erg eenvoudig. Het is een dikke duim omhoog waard. De kamer wordt ook op tijd schoongemaakt. Twee biertjes worden gratis aangeboden aan de bar. Er is ook gratis mineraalwater en cola op de kamer. Het enige nadeel is dat het lawaaierig is als het op het dak regent, maar het is zeker een aanrader. Ik geef het een dikke duim. De ophaalservice van de luchthaven is erg punctueel, een dikke duim omhoog. Ik zal vrienden aanraden om hier de volgende keer te verblijven. Je kunt een ballonvaart boeken in het hotel, wat erg goedkoop is, goedkoper dan buiten! De prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is supergoed. De knappe man uit Guizhou, China, heeft je ook de attracties van Vangrong laten zien, en fietsen zijn gratis te gebruiken! Aanbevolen hotel van Chinese mensen.

A great place if you want to socialize but also if you feel to take your time and have your space. The food is excellent, the location is great, the swimming pool has a great view! The 4 bed room was nice, the toilet in the room made it also comfy, the cleaning was done thoroughly. The guys at the reception were always helpful! Wifi was great too!

verbleef onlangs in het Oudomsin Hotel in Vang Vieng en had een fantastische ervaring. De locatie is uitstekend, waardoor het gemakkelijk is om de omgeving te verkennen. De kamer was ruim, schoon en ongelooflijk gezellig, en bood een comfortabel toevluchtsoord na een dag vol avontuur. Het personeel was buitengewoon behulpzaam, altijd bereid om te helpen met een glimlach. Het hotel beschikt ook over een heerlijk zwembad, perfect om 's middags te ontspannen. Het ontbijt was een hoogtepunt, met een verscheidenheid aan heerlijke opties om de dag te beginnen. Ik heb enorm genoten van mijn verblijf en zou Oudomsin Hotel zeker weer kiezen voor mijn volgende bezoek aan Vang Vieng. Een echte aanrader!

I stayed here for two days. The first day was very good. You can use the pool and enjoy talking to other traveler’s. The second day there was a guy snoring very bed, so I couldn’t sleep. Other then that it’s a very good hostel.

Great Value with Excellent Service & Prime Location The room was clean and comfortable for the price—definitely not a luxury hotel, but the service felt luxurious! The staff were incredibly friendly, and the receptionist went above and beyond to help, even arranging a tuk-tuk for me to the railway station at checkout. One of the best perks was the convenience—the hotel offers bike and scooter rentals, as well as a variety of day tours. Whether you're interested in paramotoring, hot air balloon rides, kayaking, hiking, or exploring caves and lagoons, they’ve got you covered. If you’d rather book elsewhere, the location is perfect, with plenty of tour operators right next door. The area is packed with different restaurants, and my personal favorite, the night market, was just steps away. There are also several laundry services nearby, making longer stays hassle-free. The only downside was noise—the walls and doors are a bit thin, so you might hear doors closing or noisy neighbors. My room was on the first floor (right side), so if you're a light sleeper, I’d recommend requesting a quieter spot away from high-traffic areas. Overall, a fantastic stay for the price, with outstanding service and an unbeatable location! ps. You can also enjoy a quick swim by the pool before going to your room!
