"Enjoyed a very pleasant 4 day trip to visit the historical and revolutionary sites of Yan’an and the trip was made much better thanks to a very comfortable and convenient stay at the Wanda Realm. For anybody who plans to visit the city I highly recommend this hotel. The hotel is located just to the south of the old city of Yan’an in the newly built Wanda City area. It is a 15-20 minute taxi ride to the old center (depending on traffic) and it’s relatively easy to call a taxi with a ride hailing app like Didi. It’s also within walking distance of the Red Street 红街 tourism area that has a theatre, cinema, activities, coffee shops and restaurants. The hotel is new and all of the main public areas are clean and well maintained - such as the lobby, hotel rooms, restaurant and gym/pool. The gym contains my favorite Life Fitness gym equipment (a quality brand) and the multi-lane, 25m meter pool is a dream for anyone who likes to swim. It even offers a good view. The hotel breakfast is very good value for money and offers a high quality selection of Western-style food (bread, eggs, bacon, sausages and cereals) as well as very tasty local Chinese food - especially local Yan’an/Shanxi noodles and dumplings. For any foreigners like me, you’ll get a good sense of local taste with good ingredients. The room was very clean and spacious with nice balcony and great view of the lake and Red Street. Service staff was excellent and many staff speak good English. We even received a nice hand written message and welcome fruits. Especially if you travel with children, this is where you should stay in Yan’an. Thank you for making my holiday more enjoyable."

"During my stay at Crowne Plaza, I found the accommodation very satisfactory. The room was a good size, featuring a comfortable, super large bed, mini fridge, kettle but no milk, this had to be requested. Also, the slow drainage in the shower was messy and inconvenient. Overall the room was very nice. The hotel’s lobby was spacious and attractively designed, setting a welcoming tone upon arrival. The lounge and the 40th-floor bar were definite highlights, offering a cool and inviting ambiance. The breakfast provided met standard expectations and was enjoyable. I’d like to extend a special acknowledgment to Tony, whose help during check-in and arranging breakfast in my room when I wasn’t feeling well was exceptional, demonstrating outstanding service. Crowne Plaza’s prime location adjacent to a mall and the bridge offered numerous options for leisurely walks and sightseeing, adding to the overall convenience. Although I didn’t personally utilize the gym or pool, they appeared to be well-maintained. Best hotel in the city for sure."

"This is one of the best hotels i have stayed at. My second time to Ha thing and the second time I have stayed at this hotel and resort. The grounds a d gardens are brilliant and this makes it a very relaxed place to stay. The service of the hotel staff is perfect without any faults. Riven is an outstanding asset to this hotel. Very helpful indeed. On my next visit next year I will stay here again."

"We booked a 3-bedroom family room. The first floor was spacious, the second floor a bit smaller, suitable for 4 adults and 1 child, or a family of five. The room was in the apartment building, not the main building. They gave us some snacks, and a cake for my father's birthday. It was quieter than the main building, although there were many people outside the window, it was still a bit noisy. The location is excellent, right outside is the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and there are all kinds of shops. The traffic control was a bit annoying; to get a taxi, we had to walk a few tens of meters from the intersection of Ci'en Road, in front of the High School Affiliated to Shaanxi Normal University. The facilities were a bit old but acceptable, and the hygiene was good. The price was reasonable for weekdays, but too expensive during holidays. The breakfast selection was a bit limited and not very special. The lounge could serve as dinner, saving us a meal cost."

"Although it is a new store, no matter the hardware facilities, environmental sanitation from the overall to the details of the room, and the warm service of the little sister and brother, it is really a very good stay experience. Originally, it was a birthday to relax and play, thinking that this place must not have cakes, thinking about forgetting, I didn't expect the store to still put the beautiful pink mousse cake in front of me in the heavy rain, really was a surprise, a hard poke in my heart. "Het hotel biedt echt een luxe boetiekhotelervaring in het hart van Xi'an. Ze bieden alles wat je je maar kunt wensen, zoals een Dyson föhn, een Marshall Bluetooth-speaker, beautyproducten met houten handvatten zoals scheermesjes, haarborstels en tandenborstels, en Le Labo shampoo, conditioner, douchegel en bodylotion. De kamers zijn echt ruim en elke kamer heeft een eigen ingang, waardoor je geen ingang hoeft te delen met andere gasten. Dat vind ik een fijn detail. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De bartenders in de rooftopbar lijken leuk en hebben een uitstekende muzieksmaak, waardoor je je ontspannen en op je gemak voelt. Er is een 24/7 zelfbedieningswasserette, een theesalon, een fitnessruimte en een zwembad op het dak naast de rooftopbar. Ik kan niet genoeg benadrukken hoe heerlijk het eten in het hotel is. Ze besparen nergens op met abalone, premium rundvlees, kaviaar en gerookte zalm bij het ontbijt. Mijn complimenten aan de chef-kok. Normaal gesproken ben ik geen fan van salades en groenten, maar ze maakten het zo lekker dat ik mijn bord helemaal leeg at! Met dagelijkse maaltijden voor ontbijt, afternoon tea en avondeten, hoefden we nauwelijks uit eten te gaan. We voelden ons echt verwend. Ze bieden gasten ook dagelijks een glas rode wijn of whisky aan. We hebben tijdens ons verblijf ook verschillende cocktails besteld en kunnen bevestigen dat hun bartenders echt weten wat ze doen! We zouden graag in de toekomst nog eens terugkomen naar het hotel en vinden het jammer dat we niet langer zijn gebleven! Een paar verbeterpunten die ik graag wil aandragen, aangezien het hotel pas in mei is geopend en we graag feedback ontvangen: - Een wasmand in elke kamer zou handig zijn voor gasten. Er is wel een klein wit tasje beschikbaar, maar daar passen niet veel kledingstukken in. - Hoewel we een rookvrije kamer hadden aangevraagd, was onze buurman een roker en roken we de sigarettenrook bijzonder sterk in de badkamer en het toilet. Misschien lopen de ventilatiekanalen centraal door de kamers, waardoor hun rook onze kamer binnendrong. Misschien kunnen de rokerskamers bij elkaar worden geplaatst en de niet-rokerskamers ook. We begrijpen dat roken een sterke cultuur is in China en dat roken binnenshuis heel normaal is. Hoewel Le Labo een iconisch en luxueus merk is, was de Santal 33-lijn die ze aanboden nogal uitdrogend voor ons haar en onze huid. We hadden het genoegen om de Bergamote 22-lijn van Le Labo te proberen in een hotel in Changsha en die was erg rijk en voedend, wat vooral prettig is bij koud winterweer. Een laatste punt van verbetering zou zijn om een ​​reserveringsservice voor restaurants aan te bieden. Een paar weken voor onze aankomst vroegen we via de Trip-app of het hotel namens ons een reservering wilde maken bij een lokaal restaurant, maar er werd ons verteld dat het hotel geen restaurantreserveringen voor gasten kon maken. We moesten het hotel waar we in Hangzhou verbleven vragen om de reservering voor ons te maken. Als buitenlanders is het lastig om restaurantreserveringen te maken zonder de lokale taal te spreken of een lokaal telefoonnummer te hebben, dus alle hulp zou zeer gewaardeerd worden.
