Hotels met Pools in Pest, Hungary

I have stayed at Danubius chain in Budapest before, Helia which is a spa hotel. This is more of a business location being beside the Puskas Arena and the M2 subway line and the 1 Tram line which gives multiple transit options if not using a hire vehicle or taxi. Breakfast was very decent, service attentive and professional. The room was clean with a few minor issues ie bathtub not draining quickly, furniture showing age (I understand so not an issue) and the facilities very good for my purpose - large gym with all required equipment, smaller pool but still permitted laps and a sauna all of which I used each day. As my last day had me leaving before breakfast, I was provided with a takeaway bag. All much appreciated. Front desk very helpful and kind. I enjoyed my stay very much.

All round the Corinthia Budapest is a great hotel with good prices and excellent service from very friendly employees throughout the hotel. Excellent spar. Relaxed lounge areas. The bedroom on fifth floor was very nice clean and comfortable. The heating system is set at a high temperature which can become quite uncomfortable in the middle of the night. Loved the Christmas decorations and Christmas Sunday brunch with free flowing beverages.  Very tasty food in the restaurant. The only issues we would highlight is the problem with the hotel being so big that the breakfast restaurant gets very crowded with delayed self service causing the food to become cold by time you sit down. This is also due to many guests leaving the Bain Marie food service warmer lids open as they are rushing to get food. Also the coffee is machines are not good quality or require servicing as the coffee was warm or cold once milk or cream was added. This was the case everyday over 5 days we never got a hot coffee.  Hot food and drinks are very important and this was unfortunately the only let down during our stay.  Hence the reason for a lower review score.  Aside from this I would recommend the hotel.

We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad in het Lion's Garden Hotel! Het zwembad en de spa voelden als een privé-ontsnapping – we hadden het praktisch helemaal voor onszelf. Het personeel was vriendelijk en het hotel biedt de perfecte balans tussen elegantie en gezelligheid, met alle benodigde voorzieningen zonder al te veel geld uit te geven. Bovendien ligt het vrij centraal, waardoor het gemakkelijk is om veel van de topattracties van Boedapest te verkennen. Ik zou hier zeker weer verblijven!

De algehele indruk is goed. Het hotel is mooi, maar zou binnenkort een opknapbeurt nodig hebben omdat het oud is. De spa is fijn, er is een zwembad om in te zwemmen en nog twee verwarmde zwembaden om te ontspannen, samen met een jacuzzi en sauna's. Het ontbijt is uitstekend. Er is een ruime parkeerplaats, maar daar moet je voor betalen. Zo ga je niet met je gasten om, maar ik weet dat dat de gewoonte is in Boedapest, dus wat kun je eraan doen? 😀

Location is not exactly in the heart of the city, but it is not far away. Very clean and I personally love the facility and design of the hotel, the cherry on top is the heart warming service, overall definitely worth the price if you want a comfy and classy place to stay it's the one, but if you want a room with river view, maybe go with Intercontinental or marriot but their appearance does not look to nice

De locatie van het hotel is een beetje uit de weg (maar ik wist dit van tevoren, omdat ik er al een keer eerder was geweest), maar de prijs is nog steeds goed. Faciliteiten: Het hotel is een beetje oud en de föhn is kapot. Ik heb de receptie gebeld en het duurde lang om er doorheen te komen. Er werd mij verteld dat er onderhoudspersoneel zou komen, maar ze kwamen nooit. Ontbijt: Het is behoorlijk rijk. Maar de reserveringen voor diensten en faciliteiten blijven op peil.

Ik moest dringend een nacht blijven. Moeilijk te vinden omdat er geen bordje stond, maar gelukkig was de dame bij de balie er nog steeds om me te helpen contact op te nemen met het personeel en ze waren aardig. Het hotelpersoneel heeft mijn WhatsApp-gids toegevoegd over hoe je moet inchecken. Maar het zou makkelijker zijn als je de incheckinstructies gewoon via foto's naar WhatsApp stuurt. Om de deur te ontgrendelen, moet je een app downloaden, wat erg lastig is als je geen internet hebt. Het toilet had geen gordijn om water tegen te houden als ik hun badhanddoek gebruikte. De toiletvloer was stoffig. Het hotel bood geen drinkwater.

Heerlijke ervaring, service was beleefd en behulpzaam. Kamers waren erg schoon, net als het hotel zelf. Het ontbijtbuffet in de ochtend was uitstekend en verrassend, maar het eten in het hotel op de bovenste verdieping op de galerij was ook erg goed, we hadden lichte hapjes - salade en drankjes. Erg blij om daar een middag te hebben doorgebracht met ontspannen. Bedankt voor een geweldig verblijf, zal het zeker aanbevelen aan mijn vrienden die naar Boedapest gaan. En ik zou er graag nog een keer verblijven. Het is een geweldige plek dicht bij voorzieningen, bars en vintagewinkels.

Hotel perfecto para pasar con mi mujer e hija de 1 año. Habitaciones espaciosas, estando en la planta 6 con unas vistas excelentes. Personal amable y un hotel con un gran desayuno y grandes instalaciones.

We had a wonderful stay at Kempinski Hotel in Budapest. The hotel is very clean and well-organized, and the staff is attentive and quick to resolve any issues. The central location made it easy to explore the city. Highly recommended!
