"Ik wilde al heel lang naar Wangxian Valley en eindelijk had ik de tijd om deze sprookjesachtige plek te bezoeken. Het hotel ligt in het schilderachtige gebied, en na het inchecken waren we snel bij de kern van het景区. De kamer die we boekten was van alle gemakken voorzien, de kinderen vonden het geweldig en mijn vrouw was zeer tevreden. Vanuit de kamer kon ik direct uit het raam kijken en genieten van het sprookjesachtige uitzicht, wat ik persoonlijk ook erg fijn vond. We kwamen tijdens het Lentefestival, en er waren op verschillende tijden prachtige voorstellingen, wat zorgde voor een geweldige feestelijke sfeer. Ons hele gezin heeft een heerlijke vakantie gehad. De duplexindeling is super gelaagd, en de hangende stoel beneden is de kers op de taart. Heerlijk om daar weg te kruipen en van het prachtige uitzicht buiten te genieten, pure ontspanning. De twee eenpersoonsbedden zijn breed en comfortabel, het beddengoed is zacht voor de huid, zodat iedereen ongestoord kan rusten met veel privacy. De kamer in houtstijl past perfect bij de bergen en het water. De kamertemperatuur is comfortabel, zelfs in de winter voelde het niet koud aan – er is veel aandacht besteed aan details.
Het hele verblijf was zorgeloos. De butler stuurde van tevoren reisgidsen, beantwoordde vragen direct, je kon snel het park in bij de ingang, en er was een portier om te helpen met de bagage. Inclusief toegangskaartjes en ontbijt. Na het bekijken van het avondlandschap loop je zo terug naar je kamer. 's Ochtends geniet je nog van de rustige vallei, en je loopt zo naar de populaire bezienswaardigheden. Onbeperkte toegang tot het park is super handig. "This top revolving hotel is well located in the older part of Nanchang. It’s a block from the night “ walking street” & 2 blocks from thousand bless palace food place. Good 10 minutes walking distance to local tourist attraction “ King Teng palace” by the River. Breakfast is good but not spectacular, only one option for coffee though. Top feature was the revolving restaurant though a little aged , is still an attraction. I believe this hotel can do better to enhance its image through a little modernization. Lighting controls in our room is a little confusing. Thermostat cooling was not favourable at times, heating for bathing water can be a little delayed at times. Other than that, all was well."

"I was completely ‘WOW’ by the services and the cleanliness of my rooms during my stay at Shangri La Nanchang. The cleaners who cleaned my rooms were consistent in maintaining clean and sparkling surface top of my rooms. We were given connecting rooms (2713 & 2714) which made it easier for me to walk over to my children without stepping out of my room in my pyjamas. Manager Mr Hank Zhang ensured my stay was pleasant, convenient and enjoyable for me as he knew that I was staying there for 5D4N with my 3 children. Counter staff Ms Ava Li was friendly and professional in handling my request with thoughtful act and professionalism. Thank you to all the staff in Shangri La Nanchang for making my last lap of the China trip a pleasant, enjoyable and comfortable stay from 21 to 25 December 2024. "Our stay was fantastic! The location is a bit hidden, but the staff contacted us beforehand and came out to meet us. The room's aromatherapy was very calming, and the facilities and bedding were incredibly comfortable. I highly recommend coming to the front desk in the evening for a drink with some BBQ – the recommended BBQ ingredients were fresh, and the drinks from the front desk were excellent. The atmosphere was great and definitely worth trying. We came back very late from sightseeing, and they remembered we hadn't returned, calling to pick us up and bring us back to the hotel. When I needed something last minute, the front desk attendant even went out to buy it for me. Honestly, I didn't expect this level of service quality in a small town. Highly recommend!"

"Voor het eerst in Kaiyuan Guantang verblijven was de meest bevredigende ervaring van de afgelopen twee jaar. We kwamen rond 11 uur 's avonds aan bij het inchecken. GGuest UserFirst off, let's talk about the shuttle service. There are too few shuttles, so you end up waiting for over 10 minutes. Also, outside vehicles aren't allowed in; they tell you to go inside to buy tickets. If you're not letting cars in, then at least provide more shuttles! Next, the cleanliness. I moved the trash can, and it was really dirty underneath, with even some leftover watermelon seeds from previous guests. The entire scenic area requires a lot of walking, so I wouldn't recommend it if you have mobility issues; it's too tiring. The worst part is that after all that walking, you can't even order takeout. They say there's a butler service, and outside vendors claim the butler will pick up your order. However, the butler for my room said I had to go pick it up myself. This means if I'm tired and want to order food, I still have to go get it, which defeats the whole purpose of ordering takeout. The artificial landscapes are just okay; I definitely won't be coming back a second time.

CCherry14Extremely satisfied, highly recommend staying here when visiting Wangxian Valley! The scenery is so different between day and night. The room type is very spacious and the facilities are quite new. The twin room easily accommodates four people. It's clean and bright. Staff are enthusiastic and helpful with parking, shuttle service, and check-in. They'll even carry your luggage to your room. Plus, there's a free butler service; Little Bear Butler was very attentive, answering all our questions, which was incredibly convenient. They even thoughtfully provided a bug repellent kit upon check-in.

What I particularly loved was the Huipai architectural style, with its classic white walls, dark tiled roofs, and charmingly arranged courtyards. Check-in and Upgrade: A Pleasant Surprise
Upon arrival, the front desk service was highly professional. Although the hotel is split into two buildings, 'Sanqing Tower' and 'Yunxi Tower,' with some facilities spread across them requiring a walk through a long corridor, the check-in process was smooth. We were fortunate that all rooms booked through Trip.com received a complimentary upgrade, including several with fantastic mountain views. Waking up to such scenery truly delighted the seniors.
Breakfast: A Taste of Local Flavors
Breakfast at the Green Ripple All-Day Dining restaurant offered a rich variety of dishes. What stood out most was the abundance of local Shangrao, Jiangxi specialties. We enjoyed sweet kudzu root juice, sticky fried dough sticks with glutinous rice cakes (youtiao maci), unique taro dumplings, and candied fruits like dried pumpkin and sweet potato. It was a refreshing and appealing spread for the seniors. The noodle station’s freshly cooked rice noodles and wontons were also excellent, perfect for an energy boost before hiking. The restaurant environment was comfortable, and refills were prompt.
Facilities: A Mix of Regret and Delight in the Mountains
The hotel boasts an indoor heated spring water pool, reportedly filled with clear mountain spring water. Unfortunately, our family itinerary was packed, and we didn't have time to take the children for a swim, which was the biggest regret of our trip. Other facilities like the gym and children's playground were also well-equipped.
Dinner: Highly Recommended Sanqingxuan Chinese Restaurant
I highly recommend dinner at Sanqingxuan Chinese Restaurant! All the local specialties we ordered were delicious, especially the local duck and special bean products. The flavors were authentic and received unanimous praise from the whole family. For rooms without executive lounge access, this is also where you can enjoy the executive set menu, offering great value and taste.
Summary
The Hilton Sanqingshan Resort is ideally located, just a few minutes' walk from the Waishuangxi cable car, making it perfect for families planning to explore Sanqingshan. Although the facilities show some age due to its earlier opening, the service is excellent. Coupled with the distinctive local cuisine and generous upgrade policy, our family trip was comfortable and hassle-free. If we return, we definitely plan to experience the pool!

AAaniFacilities: The room was quite spacious, and the TV was projected onto a large screen. There was a huge balcony with a view of lush greenery. There was a swimming pool and hot spring. When we went, it was already quite warm, so we swam but didn't try the hot spring.
Environment: The hotel is located halfway up a mountain, suitable for those driving, but it's centrally located in Wuyuan, so driving is quite convenient. The only problem was that there were no streetlights in the mountains, so we arrived at the hotel in the dark at night. 😂 Considering the hotel's facilities and room size, it's extremely cost-effective. Experiencing the hot spring in winter would be quite nice.

GGuest UserTired of tourist crowds? You absolutely must stay at this Wangxian Valley guesthouse. Ancient trees tower around the courtyard, and layers of lush greenery filter out the outside noise. The moment you step into the small courtyard, your heart instantly calms. The rooms are spacious and airy, always dry and comfortable, with complete and tidy bathroom amenities. A big thank you to our butler, Huanhuan. She was thoughtful and discreet, always available when we needed her, and meticulously planned time-saving routes. She even advised us on the best times to see the waterfalls and cliffside stilt houses, helping us avoid crowds at the main attractions. We truly experienced the valley's beauty, which changes with every season, all in one trip.

There's no hustle and bustle here, only a breathing-like quiet, and lazy moments enveloped in gentleness. As light and shadow shift, life slows to a leisurely pace, allowing the mountain breeze and your relaxed self to truly connect.
The hotel's overall aesthetic is a minimalist white tone, so clean it's instantly captivating. Large areas of blank space paired with transparent floor-to-ceiling windows make the distant mountains and greenery the most captivating decor indoors. ☁️
Curl up on a lounge chair by the pool to sunbathe, or snuggle into a soft sofa in your room with a cold drink. Light and shadow slowly flow with time, and even the air exudes a sense of relaxation.

DDm.sgI stayed at Tea Sage Luxury Wilderness Villa, Wunuzhou Resort ([婺女洲度假区茶圣·奢野别墅]) during the last week of March, which was an off-peak period. It turned out to be a great time to visit because the crowds were manageable and the park did not feel too overwhelming.
I would recommend checking in on a Friday or Saturday, as there are usually fireworks on those nights. It is best to confirm the schedule on the resort website before booking.
One of the best parts of staying here is that the hotel booking includes free entrance to the theme park, which offers very good value. There are many things to see and do inside the park, so it is worth planning enough time to explore.
I stayed in the Detached Duplex with Slide Suite. The room was very spacious and clean, and the slide added a fun touch. The villa is also very close to 抱玉塔, where the main performances and fireworks take place. However, this room type does not have a view of the fireworks or shows. Some other room types do offer those views, so it is worth asking the hotel staff at check-in if they can assign you a room with a better view.
The hotel breakfast was decent, with a typical Chinese hotel buffet selection.
My suggestion is to spend the first day focusing on the night shows and performances. On the second day after check-out, you can leave your luggage with the hotel and continue enjoying the theme park, including the games and NPC interactions, before heading to your next destination.

LLaolindedianChoosing Xixinyuan for our Gexian Village trip was definitely the right decision. The hotel is nestled within the scenic area, backed by mountains and overlooking a lake. Its tranquil and elegant environment, far from the hustle and bustle of the commercial street, creates a wonderful atmosphere. The guest rooms are spacious, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows and a private balcony. During the day, you can admire the lush green mountains, and at night, you can enjoy the dazzling night view of Zhongmiao Pavilion without even leaving your room. It was a fantastic experience.

Selina, one of the staff members, was enthusiastic and patient, always responding promptly to our needs. The breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of choices. The location is excellent, with convenient transportation. Staying here made our trip very relaxing; it was a fantastic experience, highly recommended!
