The hotel is in the great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere and is convenient to the central area of Songpan. All of staff was welcoming and the manager, ‘Xiaozeng’ was accommodating right from the moment we took off the train and arranged the driver to pick up us from the station. Do not worry!!! if you can not speak Chinese, they can communicate with you via the app, Wechat and help you check in through easily. Breakfast was simple but delicious healthy. Our room was very clean and convenient. The hotel was well designed, it blended traditional and modern style together. We really enjoyed our stay and highly reconmended.

Overall, a really unique and special stay. While it looks close to the main road, you should know that going down to the city center might only take 5 to 10 minutes walking downhill but it's a steep hill going up. The staff was really helpful and knew how to use translation apps. Our one complaint was that the common areas (lounge and shared toilet) could be cleaned a bit better. Otherwise, we really loved the view and our stay.

Mijn ervaring in het VOCO Hotel aan Chunxi Road in Chengdu was absoluut fantastisch! Stijlvol design gecombineerd met authentieke Sichuan-sfeer, elk detail straalt verfijning uit. De locatie is perfect; direct beneden bevindt zich een bruisend winkelgebied, maar achterin vind je een rustige en comfortabele plek om te ontspannen. Ik wil in het bijzonder Xiaomei van de receptie een compliment geven; haar glimlach is zo warm als de zon van Chengdu. Ze gaf me bij het inchecken proactief een upgrade naar een betere kamer en tekende zelfs een handgetekende plattegrond van restaurants in de buurt, met attente aanbevelingen voor lokale favorieten en verborgen pareltjes in de steegjes. Haar warme service maakte de hele reis tot een aangename verrassing! Hier versmelten de gemakken van het moderne stadsleven perfect met de warmte van thuis. De volgende keer dat ik in Chengdu ben, verblijf ik zeker weer in VOCO en zie ik de lieve Xiaomei weer!

Service: First of all, we arrived at Emeishan Station at 9 a.m. and had booked the pick-up service in advance. The hotel butler came to pick us up in a business vehicle. Although the hotel is just a few minutes’ drive away, this thoughtful service greatly enhanced the overall experience. Le Méridien Emeishan is positioned as a resort hotel with over 300 rooms. Since we arrived quite early, we initially thought we’d have to wait until the afternoon to check in. However, the hotel had available rooms and kindly allowed us to check in right away. The butler even gave us two cups of coffee and drove us around in a sightseeing cart to show us different room types. Although we had only booked a standard room, they upgraded us to a lake-view room with beautiful scenery. We really appreciate the hotel’s excellent service! Additionally, the butler gave us 10 bottles of water upon check-in, which was more than enough—no need to call for more during our stay. Facilities: The hotel grounds are quite large, and the buildings are low-rise. Guests staying in Building 2 may need to walk about six to seven minutes to their rooms. The hotel offers a lobby bar, reading lounge, gym, hot spring pool, swimming pool, and kids’ play area. The facilities are generally comprehensive, though the entertainment options may feel a bit limited for a resort hotel. The children’s play area includes simple slides, swings, and a small ball pit—fairly modest in scale. Location: About 2 km from Baoguo Temple and close to the shuttle bus station for Emei Mountain. Very convenient. Breakfast: Abundant and delicious, with the option to dine outdoors in a beautiful setting. Environment: The hotel is located next to Exiu Lake, surrounded by a scenic park with views of the Golden Summit (Jinding). The environment inside the hotel is also pleasant—perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. Overall: The highlight of this hotel is its outstanding service, which is undoubtedly the most important aspect for a resort. It would be even better if the facilities were more varied.

De kamer was fantastisch, met een prachtig uitzicht. Ik had een suite met één slaapkamer geboekt, die ruim was. Deze had alles wat je nodig hebt, inclusief een keuken, wasmachine en koelkast. Het hotel heeft ook een zwembad en een fitnessruimte, een combinatie van het beste van een appartement en een vijfsterrenhotel. Ik kom hier zeker weer terug de volgende keer dat ik in Chengdu ben!

Ik was absoluut dolenthousiast over het hotel waar ik tijdens deze reis verbleef! De kamer was brandschoon, geen stofje te bekennen, wat getuigde van oog voor detail. Het beddengoed was zacht en comfortabel, waardoor ik elke nacht heerlijk heb geslapen. De service was onberispelijk; van de warme en attente ontvangst bij het inchecken tot de snelle reactie op al mijn vragen tijdens mijn verblijf, het personeel toonde uitzonderlijke professionaliteit en zorgde ervoor dat ik me echt welkom voelde. Bovendien was de prijs betaalbaar, een uitstekende prijs-kwaliteitverhouding en een echte aanrader in vergelijking met andere hotels in dezelfde prijsklasse. Dit verblijf was fantastisch, vooral met het warmwaterbad! Ik zal dit hotel zeker weer kiezen als ik weer in de buurt ben!

Also, when we requested a taxi, if we had any trouble, they told us to contact them on Wechat and followed us until we arrived at the hotel. However, I wish you would have called the taxi company instead of hailing a taxi on the street. I thought I would be able to stay more securely if there was a taxi contracted with the hotel or a courtesy car for sightseeing spots. Anyway, thank you for your help during our stay.

I am very satisfied with this stay experience. The boss used to play antique literature, so the decoration style of the whole homestay is unique, very distinctive and charming. And the boss wife is very enthusiastic with the staff, prepared Rhodiola, oxygen cylinders, etc. in case we have any discomfort. Dinner and the young lady dance performance, the next day we took us to the forest to hike, and also fed the groundhog, very relaxed. I heard from the boss that I can see the horse deer, ride horses, etc. in the future, and I will definitely come again in the future!
