"Impromptu stay in Jitra for one night. Found C Hotel to be the cheapest on Trip (under RM100 per night inc taxes). Room was decent, quite clean although there is a few dust on bed. Also gave you shower and shampoo gel so no worries. Got towels as well. The bathroom was good. Water pressure on shower, sink and toilet are running just great. Water heater was working well, as well as the aircond. Overall 4/5 star for a cheap room 👍🏻 Oh and they got swimming pool too."

"Excellent hotel at a very low price. There is everything you need. The room has a refrigerator, TV, comfortable large bed, air conditioning! At the exit from the hotel there is a dispenser, there is an ironing board with an iron and a microwave oven! Registration at the hotel is electronic, remote, you do not need to leave any deposit! The only small drawback is the location of the hotel. It is some distance from shops and attractions! But if you have a car or scooter, for you this will not be a problem! I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone! Especially suitable for a quiet family holiday near nature!"

"Great location for seeing the sights. Modern hotel with room comfortable but a bit tired in places e.g stained shower tiles. However good value for money. The food in the restaurant was tasty but we had to ask for it to be heated up. Breakfast had a reasonable selection for westerners. Staff very helpful."

AAbdullah AyedhRWonderful Stay at Rebak Island Resort
We had a wonderful stay at Rebak Island Resort & Marina Langkawi.
The location is excellent, peaceful, and very suitable for families who are looking for privacy and relaxation. The resort services were excellent, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and all the staff were very kind, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay.
The private beach is beautiful, clean, and offers a great level of privacy, which makes it especially suitable for families. We also really enjoyed the food at the hotel restaurant. It was excellent, varied, and offered many good options to choose from.
I would also like to share one recommendation that could make the resort even better: it would be great to have more security cameras covering all areas of the resort, including the swimming pool, beach, rooms area, and walkways. It would also be very helpful to have lifeguards or safety staff monitoring the beach and swimming pool areas. This would make the resort feel even safer for children and give parents more peace of mind while their young kids are playing or swimming.
Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this resort to families looking for a quiet, clean, and relaxing island getaway.
GGuest User⭐️ (Strongly Not Recommended)
My stay at A Coral Reefs Resort from 21–23 March started off acceptable, but what happened after check-out was deeply disappointing and raises serious concerns about the hotel’s professionalism and integrity.
After I had already left the property and arrived at the airport, I received a call accusing me of being involved in a missing RM1200 reported by three foreign guests. This accusation was based solely on a vague CCTV clip showing me sitting in the lobby and putting something into my pocket.
Let me be absolutely clear: such an allegation, made without concrete evidence, is irresponsible and unacceptable.
The hotel’s account of the incident was inconsistent and unreliable. I was first told the money was left on a table, and later it was claimed to be inside a pair of pants. The inability to establish even the most basic facts seriously calls into question the credibility of the entire claim.
Even more concerning is the timeline. If the alleged incident took place on 21 March, why was I only contacted on 23 March, after I had already checked out and reached the airport? This delay reflects either poor internal handling or a lack of proper investigation.
The CCTV clip provided was incomplete and unclear. It merely shows me placing my own personal belongings (my phone and medicated oil) into my pocket. There is absolutely no evidence that I handled or took any cash.
Relying on such selective and inconclusive footage to imply wrongdoing is not only unprofessional, but also unfairly damaging to a guest’s reputation.
We have formally requested the full CCTV footage to ensure transparency and proper verification of facts. Failure to provide complete and unedited recordings will only further undermine the credibility of this accusation.
If this matter is not handled appropriately, we will not hesitate to escalate it through formal complaint channels.
Guests should be aware that without clear evidence, this establishment is willing to cast suspicion based on assumptions rather than facts.
KKirstennnHonestly, we found it to be quite a disappointment. We had a rainforest chalet, but we didn't like its location. The service is excellent, as they pick you up when you call, but sometimes there can be a wait. The chalet is a bit on the small side and also somewhat in need of renovation. You wouldn't want to sit on the balcony in the dark. We found the resort too busy/crowded, but that's a matter of taste. We don't like that. Because it was so busy, there were no loungers available by the pool. We also only just managed to get the last loungers on the beach. It was also difficult to find a table during breakfast.
There's not much to do at the resort. For older people, that's fine, but not for us. The restaurants are okay. We ate at the restaurant on the water. You have a beautiful view during your dinner there. We thought that was very nice. If you like crowds and hustle, just want to lie in the sun all day, and eat on-site, then this resort could be a good option. However, the value for money isn't entirely okay in our opinion. You pay top dollar for a tiny, secluded chalet, and if you want to lie by the pool, there's no lounger available. If you have to fight for a lounger and a breakfast table every day, we would be very frustrated. Luckily, we only stayed for two days. We felt that was sufficient.
GGuest UserWe had a wonderful time in July. I particularly want to highlight the friendliness and hospitality of the staff. It's so lovely when everyone smiles at you, always and everywhere. The few issues that arose were resolved incredibly quickly.
However, there are a few things to consider when planning your trip.
A significant plus is the long, expansive beach stretching to the left of the hotel. The beach is quiet and calm. It's not the most popular section of the beach; it's a more secluded part, which was a bonus for us. No hustle and bustle, no crowds. There are several surf schools here because this part of the coast has waves during the season. For us, having surfing available was a fantastic bonus. For 10 days, there wasn't a single day with a calm sea. Every day had waves of varying intensity. Because of this, the water was always (!) murky.
In July, the sunset isn't over the sea, but behind a neighboring island, yet it's incredibly beautiful on a clear day.
Many families with children stay at the hotel. The main pool is noisy. But a major plus is the 18+ infinity pool on the 5th floor. This is where you'll find relaxation and quiet.
My main complaint about the hotel is the constant smell of food from the restaurant in the main pool/beach area, even by the sea. It's a persistent smoky, unpleasant odor of fried oil. This bothered me significantly.
The hotel has absolutely no private grounds for walking, just a small lawn near the restaurant and that's it. It's a 5-minute walk to the lively street with amenities.
No complaints about the room cleaning; it was spotless every day, and our housekeeper Salim did an excellent job.
The breakfast was quite varied, with many Asian dishes and a selection of European options. The yogurts and fruits were delicious, but the pastries were weak and not very tasty. The freshly squeezed juices were great. The coffee was average quality. The hotel also has a premium restaurant, Lancava. It's luxurious. All the dishes were outstanding, and the service was polite, attentive, and pleasant.
GGuest UserIf you're traveling with kids, book a room by the pool. Just slide the glass door and you're right in the water. The breakfast is really good, with a lot of protein. Refill service is super fast. Even during busy season, the buffet stays well-stocked through breakfast. The beach has plenty of sun beds, and the spot itself is fantastic. That said, in my experience, the jet skis and other activities make the beach and nearby area feel more commercial than private. It’s not your typical huge resort with buggies and all-inclusive, but it’s perfect for a quick two-night stay, good breakfast, clean beach, and sunbathing.. Cenang Mall is about a 15-minute walk, and there are lots of small restaurants nearby. Keep in mind, when we stayed there, there was construction next door, so the views and noises weren’t ideal for a holiday.
MMUHAMMAD HAZIQ BIN IBRAHIMI had a wonderful stay at Ombak Villa Langkawi. The room was comfortable, the surroundings were beautiful, and the overall atmosphere made for a relaxing staycation. The facilities were great, and I truly enjoyed my time here.
However, there are a few areas that could be improved. The check-in experience was disappointing. Although I had booked my room four days in advance, I still had to wait almost an hour before my room was ready. What made it more frustrating was that no apology or explanation was given by the staff for the delay.
Another area that needs improvement is the Wi-Fi connection, which was quite unstable during my stay.
Overall, I had a great experience and would still recommend Ombak Villa Langkawi. With better customer service during check-in and a more reliable Wi-Fi connection, the experience would be even better.
AAnonymous UserThe front desk staff were pleasant and welcoming, taking the time to explain the facilities and amenities available around the property. However, the check-in process felt somewhat disorganized, as our passports were collected and we were asked to wait at the side without much further guidance.
The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised to find the bed beautifully decorated with towel art, along with a complimentary dessert after we made a special request, despite having no expectations of receiving anything from the hotel. My husband and I truly appreciated the thoughtful gesture, it made us feel warmly welcomed.
Unfortunately, the breakfast experience did not quite meet the standards we would expect from a 5-star hotel. The staff appeared somewhat inexperienced, and service was inconsistent. When we arrived, there were no available tables, yet we were instructed to enter and find a table ourselves. This left us feeling awkward as we stood around waiting for other guests to finish their meals. What made the experience more disappointing was that a family who arrived after us was promptly escorted to a table, while we were left to continue waiting, which felt unfair. We also had to repeatedly request utensils as some tables were properly set while others were not. While these may seem like minor issues individually, together they affected the overall dining experience and fell short of the level of service we would expect from a hotel that positions itself as a 5-star property.
Overall, we enjoyed the room, hospitality, and thoughtful touches provided by the hotel. The stay had many positive aspects, but improvements in breakfast operations and service consistency would go a long way toward delivering the luxury experience that guests expect.
TTatsiana ProninaThis is an excellent, slightly secluded hotel with its own large beach area, located at the end of a long sand spit. It boasts a gorgeous green territory and a huge pool with 4 sections, including one that's 2.5m deep. Breakfasts are decent, but there's not much meat – only chicken ham and sausages. Plenty of fruits are available, but they're simple ones like watermelon, melon, apples, and pineapple. There was some minor noise disturbance from a construction site next to the hotel. The rooms and furniture are a bit old but functional. The furniture is worn out. Across from the hotel is the fantastic Cactus cafe, where everything is delicious, from barracuda to spaghetti bolognese.
GGuest UserWe booked standard twin room. The bed in room really small, if you turn your body side way, you will fall on to the floor. It would be useful information if the bed size specify in the room description.
Never trust what you see as posted. Bed look big but actual size super small.
AAnonymous UserEverything was okay except for the unstable TV channels. I called room service and they came to fix it quickly. But the TV still wasn't great... probably because of the internet.
