Absolutely magnificent hotel! Staff were very helpful, tending to any and every need. Rooms are clean and spacious. And big plus point is that it is connected to the Annapoorna restaurant, a must visit for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Can't wait to be back.

Travelled with Family, Took the Family room, decent space and courteous staff. The room has separate Toilet,Bath room and Wash basin etc , convenient since there are multiple guests in the same room.

De airconditioningventilator in de kamer waar ik verbleef liet op de derde nacht een penetrante geur vrij. We moesten overal parfums en kamerspray spuiten om de scherpe geur te overheersen.
Handdoeken verlaagd van 2 handdoeken naar 1 handdoek vanaf dag 2.
Douchegels en shampoo werden niet aangevuld.
Vuilnisbak in het toilet werd vanaf dag 2 pas opgeruimd toen we uitcheckten.
De toegangskaart tot de kamer blijft bederven, dus elke dag moeten we deze vervangen door de nieuwe.

As always everything was good from the beginning... the check in till check out. The breakfast which wasn't quite the usual during our last stay there were totally opposite this time... understood there was a face-lift refurbishment work carried out at the restaurant the last time and as such it was excuseable..This time around the hotel had exceeded our expectation for both the service standard and eloborate buffet breakfast readied for the guests. We would like to thank all the restaurant staff in particular the restaurant manager SK Allarakha for making every morning as a start of a pleasant day with all the courteous services extended to us by him and his lovely team..This has prompted my family to celebrate my 60th birthday in the morning of 16/1/2026 before their departure for flight.Thank you for a great and courteous service shown to my family and i.We will definitely choose to stay at the TRT again the next time around. Way2go all... Cheers!

This is my 2nd stay in this hotel its location is very good traffic will depends an the time you travel
Early morning check out to airport like 8 am flight
The hotel breakfast starts at 7 am no way u can have break fast for 8 to 9.30am flight as u keep at least 40 mins to an hour to travel to airport
As for the rooms its all ok for me

Very Good
Room is very clean and front staff are very kind. The breakfast is very delicious beffet with indian food and some western food. Room rate is higher than other hotel but worth of it. I will stay again!

I am a solo female doctor, travelling to south India for the very first time. I rarely do reviews online for accommodations during travel, however this was an excellent and exceptional 5 night stay, which was way beyond my expectations. This guesthouse has been renovated with careful thought towards long term maintenance and sustainability, cleanliness, and comfort of guests from all parts of the world and walks of life. It is truly international in standards, despite being locally affordable. The rooms are mostly tiled, with good speed fan, cool air conditioning, with curtains and doors shading light and heat to maintain cool environment despite outdoor heat. Water is clean and rooms are insect repellent. Large bed, clean beddings, solid wooden furnitures, and no unsightly stains or smells in the building. Outdoor common spaces were aesthetic and carries a cultural and vibrant feel. There are cleaners on site till around 5pm. The other highlight of this place are the 24/7 staffs. These young people are not only receptionists sitting at a counter. They truly work to give this place its personal feel. Their care, attentiveness, and personal effort goes way beyond what is required of them as staff. Just to name a few examples; 1.Helping to book rides to and from temple which was extremely difficult during fullmoon roadblocks, all the way to temple doorstep. 2.Helping to order food on Indian app for days when the heat and tiredness from walking took its toll. 3.Never missing a call at the reception for when help is needed 4.Maintaining consistent care and effort to multiple guests at the same time during the full moon crowd and demand with smile and heartfelt hospitality. 5.Receiving and sending off guests with so much love and thought. I received a beautiful photo of the presiding diety of the town, which I truly cherish and am thankful for. Thank you again viknesh, abinaya, keerthana, and the MD of the guesthouse. I have already recommended the guesthouse to friends and family personally. All the best to this guesthouse in maintaining comfort, safety, peace of mind, and a satisfying spiritual journey in the long run for pilgrims and spiritual seekers visiting this temple and ashram town.

Ibis is really a nice place to stay. The location is in the city center where you have all easy access to wherever you want to go. The transportation system in the area is very friendly. You can get a toktok motorcycle to bring you anywhere you want to sight seeing.

GGuest UserFabulous setting up on a hill about a 20 min walk down to the town(definitely get a rickshaw back). Didn’t realise we could order eggs for breakfast until our second morning (not offered them on the first morning). Cake at breakfast was yummy.
Bathroom hadn’t been cleaned on arrival and there were splatters marks on the wall above the tea/coffee area. We also returned to our room late afternoon to find maintenance working on our balcony - did feel this could have been done after checkout!
Fabulous shower.
We ate in the restaurant one night and the food was very good. The high taxes in Tamil Nadu added to the price (almost 25%) so bear this in mind . Cocktails weee excellent.
We did the morning ’hike’ which was well worth getting up for.
We were brought a hot water bottle on our second night which was a lovely surprise.
Tea & biscuits served between 5 & 5.30pm which was a nice touch although more of the breakfast cake would have been good.
Would recommend staying here as rooms, location & restaurant are excellent.

I have been staying in this hotel every time I visit Chennai! The location so ideal that you could just walk, take an auto or drive to pondy bazaar & T Nagar! I loved the smart room concept that it become my benchmark whenever I stay in any hotel!😜 Their variety of breakfast simply not to be missed!!!! The sky roof restaurant view is so thing not to be missed!🤩 Will I come back again? You bet 👍

My initial stay at this newly launched hotel was excellent. The modern facilities were in perfect working order, and the room was impeccably clean and comfortable. It was a promising start that convinced me to return. Unfortunately, my second stay was profoundly disappointing and raised several concerns. The first room I was assigned had a strong, unpleasant odor. While I appreciate the staff promptly moving me to a second room, it only partially resolved the issue, as a faint strange smell persisted. The second room had multiple functional problems: * Non-Functional Power:** The USB ports and power sockets on the wall faulty. * Inconsistent Hot Water:** The water heater took an excessively long time to heat up, disrupting my routine. * Purify water contamination:** There's particles and oil from the purify water. It seems contamination from central filter. Most alarmingly, at approximately 6 AM one morning, a **very loud alarm sounded from the door area.** This was highly disruptive and concerning, as it was unclear whether it was a security breach alarm or a triggered fire alarm. The lack of any immediate information or follow-up from the hotel staff regarding this incident left me feeling unsettled and concerned about the emergency protocols. While the front desk staff were helpful in changing my room, the combination of maintenance failures and a confusing safety alarm indicates a significant lapse in operational standards. For a new hotel, this is troubling. I hope this feedback is taken seriously to ensure the safety and comfort of all future guests.

Staff at the reception are nice and friendly, crews and bellboys helps with your stuff. However, got harassed by one staff at the bar. We were being forced to leave where we are seated to a sofa near the bar and embarrassed my friends while we are waiting for the coffee we ordered at the bar. Tirelessly, even to the point of heated argument he never stopped until I made myself clear that I am going to report him. I had been a guest for this hotel since 2019 and unfortunately treated like this. This staff must be removed for inappropriate action.

We stayed at this resort last weekend, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. Based on my stay, I have highlighted several positive aspects and a few areas for improvement. Positive Points • The resort has an excellent atmosphere, spread over nearly 1 km with lush greenery throughout. The internal roads are well-connected and well-maintained. • More than 10 shuttle services operate within the resort, making it very convenient to travel between different areas. Shuttle service is available right at your doorstep at any time, which is a major advantage. • The swimming pools for both children and adults are spacious and well-maintained. My kids thoroughly enjoyed their time there. • The children’s indoor play area is clean and well-organized — ideal for kids under 5 years old. • The rain dance and bullock cart ride experiences were fantastic. • The spa service was very good and relaxing. • The restaurants served delicious food, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of tasty options. Areas for Improvement • The rooms are slightly dated. When we first entered, there was a mild odor, but housekeeping responded promptly and freshened up the room.
