Located on part of the Birmingham University campus in Edgbaston so good location for academic conferences / visiting the university, also short distance to dental hospital, cricket ground, tennis centre etc. Plenty of free parking including blue badge and EV charging. Check-in was quick and efficient. Angela, who checked us in, was friendly and helpful. There is a large bar which serves smaller meals throughout the day and also a restaurant in the evening. The bar food was average price for hotel food (£12+ for sandwich with some soup)  and average quality. Room was clean and tidy, with modern decor. It was very spacious and well equipped with seating and table, ironing board, plenty of pillows, pod coffee machine and plenty of coffee pods, tea bags etc. Black out blinds worked well and there was minimal noise from other rooms / corridor. Would definitely stay again if in the Edgebaston / Birmingham area. 

I had a very pleasant stay at B&B Hotel Birmingham. The hotel is conveniently located, making it easy to access the city centre, public transport, shops, and restaurants. It’s a great choice for both business and leisure travellers. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with a good bed and all the basic amenities needed for a short or long stay. The bathroom was tidy and well maintained, and housekeeping did a good job throughout my stay. The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. The hotel also offers good value for money compared to other hotels in the area. Overall, B&B Hotel Birmingham provides a comfortable, affordable, and hassle-free stay. I would definitely recommend it and would consider staying here again in the future.

Came a long way to stay for couple of days for a wedding. Big reunion w some friends from around the globe. Pros: Hotel is at the great location. Lots of food option at Touchwood Mall opposite the hotel. Hotel food are quite reasonable too. Staffs at the lounge & breakfast are Fantastic. They are friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and bed are comfy. Cons: Reception should be better. We were attended by Josh during check in and he is not friendly and helpful when few enquiry asked. A friend of mine (a couple) was assigned to a room which AC wasn’t working. And when asked for a room changed, he said its not available. He mentioned that it was an ongoing problem and offered them a fan instead. How is that possible they are still selling a dysfunctional room to a guest when they know its an issue! But if they want an upgrade, they can but they have to pay £13!! I think its bizarre! My friends was stucked to the same room till the end of her stay w a FAN! Overall I am happy with the stay but i need to rant about the room assignment. Its common sense.

The hotel is ideally located bear the NEC Birmingham. We were there for an event, and combined it with a visit to our daughter in uni in the city. The amenaties were excelkent. Had dinner in the restaurant both nights. Food was of a high standard and reasonably priced. Woukd stay here again.

Een goedkope en goedgelegen plek om te overnachten. Tot wel 3 personen op 1 kamer. Binnen 15 min lopen van het station. 5 min van de bus. Kamer was schoon. Beddengoed was echter mattig, veel te klein laken voor het bed dat steeds los kwam. Ook zijn er alleen Britse stopcontacten. Dus een adapter is nodig.

Very clean and spacious room with great bathroom facilities also.

We had a fantastic stay overnight. fabulous staff willing to help very caring and understanding very helpful all the time we was there. breakfast was amazing. I’m very wonderfully presented those everything you wanted and all nicely displayed and absolutely wonderfully clean and the staff was great so Wood come back thank you. Thank you for everything bye-bye.

Een waarschuwing. Mijn probleem werd positief opgelost, maar mijn advies is om de reservering te controleren en de vragen te stellen. Het ibis Birmingham Airport heeft twee verschillende accommodaties op dezelfde locatie. Ik heb via Trip geboekt en betaald voor de Ibis. Bij aankomst werd mij verteld dat Trip mijn reservering in Ibis Budget had gemaakt. De conciërge vertelde me dat hij niets voor me kon doen. Ik moest het met de boekingsagent, Trip, bespreken. Ik accepteerde de kamer (ik had hier al eerder in Ibis Budget verbleven, dus ik wist wat ik kon verwachten. Perfect geschikt voor een vertrek vroeg in de ochtend). Mijn teleurstelling was dat ik deze keer een duurdere accommodatie had geboekt en betaald. Uiteraard heb ik contact opgenomen met de klantenservice en na enige tijd, diverse uitleg en foto's, werd mijn probleem begrepen. Ik heb ervoor gekozen de aangeboden compensatie te accepteren.

Exceptional service for a half board stay on weekday that offered a tasty 3-course dinner and breakfast in such a premium hotel with pool, gym room, steam room and sauna! Definitely worth to come again and again!

Alles aan mijn verblijf was geweldig! Het personeel was supervriendelijk, de kamer was schoon en comfortabel en het ontbijt (dat inbegrepen was) was uitstekend. Ik arriveerde iets eerder dan de inchecktijd, maar het proces verliep soepel en snel. Ik had om een ​​kamer met een bepaalde oriëntatie gevraagd en de receptioniste regelde dat graag voor me. De kamer zelf was compact, maar voelde verrassend ruim aan, met een grote tv, strijkijzer, föhn en een prachtig uitzicht over de oude gracht. De locatie was ook erg gunstig. Het enige kleine minpuntje was dat de kamer iets koeler aanvoelde dan ik had gewild. Ik probeerde de temperatuur aan te passen naar ongeveer 22°C, maar het bleef dichter bij 20°C hangen. Het ontbijt was fantastisch – ruime keuze en elke ochtend van 7.00 tot 11.00 uur goed gevuld. Er was alles, van een klassiek Engels ontbijt tot ontbijtgranen en zelfs een pannenkoekenmachine! Het schoonmaakpersoneel was ook erg beleefd en deed uitstekend werk. Al met al heb ik een geweldig verblijf gehad en zou ik zeker weer boeken!
