Fabulous location, if you need the airport. But, you have to bus/cab/drive into Southend/Rayleigh/wherever if not wanting the airport. 15min walk to various eateries, if you don't want to eat in the hotel, like Toby Carvery, Hungry Horse, African, fish and chips. Majority of staff seen were happy and chatty, nice to see. 5* breakfast, would definitely recommend as had lots of choice. Room was clean, included bed, desk, chair, armchair, safe, kettle, iron, toiletries, bath&shower.

Pendelbus naar STN-luchthaven elke 30 minuten. Aardig personeel. Eenvoudig ontbijt. Enigszins gedateerd.

Nice room, very clean and great location. Just beware when booking there are pubs and bars opposite so not quiet but this did not affect us.

I would have given a high score but the sheer noise, disruption and pure havoc caused by disgusting residents having fighting matches in the rooms and corridor close to our room made the stay horrible. The staff were great I trying to deal with terrible guests but the noise still continued and doors regularly slammed hard. Didn’t sleep well at all 

Location pretty grim as it’s next to the Dartford Bridge and Tunnel. But once you are in you can forget about that as the rooms are decent and spacious, the restaurant is excellent for an evening meal and the breakfast is good value particularly if you go for the meal deal for dinner and breakfast. A good stay overall.

Really nice hotel with really good restaurant. All staff members were really amazing, and made my stay really enjoyable.  The only thing they need to sort out the loud noise that comes from the air conditioning in the middle of the night that can’t be stopped from the room. It kept me awake for the most part of my night.

Ideal location. Welcoming and polite check in from members of staff. Didn't get chance to use resteraunt as we were in a hurry for an O2 Arena event. Room was adequate for stay although shower head wouldn't stay in a fixed position, the toilet sprayed water at you when you flushed and it would have been nice to have a bin near kettle to put used tea bags etc in. Checked around the room before leaving the following morning and found dog toys under the bed so obviously not cleaned properly before we arrived.

Staff were great all very friendly Room was spacious wardrobe big enough for a 4 yr old to sleep in ( excuse my humour ) and very clean Evening meal portions great food very tasty & staff looked after granddaughter well with keeping her occupied . Breakfast was a little of a let down as under the warmer food was still cold and bacon very dry … cheese was dried up with the cold meats only I flavour yoghurt I wish I had ordered off the fresh cooked menu of eggs selection ( but I never left hungry ) Despite second paragraph I would defo return

I booked a last minute night away with the children: afternoon tea followed by an overnight. The afternoon tea was delicious and I was really well catered for as a vegan diner. The Grand Hall was a beautiful setting for afternoon tea. The children also loved their food - the sandwiches were much simpler for the children and they got seconds based on how delicious they were. Our room was large and had a sofa bed and a cot bed. We enjoyed playing in the grounds including the play area, outdoor chess, boules, the scavenger hunt and the fitness trail. My son also loved playing football in the garden - he was excited that there were goals set up. We had dinner in The Fox Bar and had drinks and played cards in the Grand Hall afterwards. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. We were really excited to find newts in the pond. They would love to stay again. I would love to come for an overnight with my partner to experience it differently without the children.

Het hotel was vrij goed, maar de slaapkamer was SOOO warm, het was koelder buiten. Gelukkig was er een fan voor gebruik in de kamer. Helaas kreeg ik geen kamer bij mijn reisgenoot, niet eens op dezelfde verdieping, ondanks dat ik op dezelfde boeking was. De sloten op mijn deur (kamer 16) werkten niet goed, dus ik sloot een stoel tegen hem overnachten. Een standaard lamp in mijn kamer werkte niet. De kamer en bed waren zeer comfortabel en schoon en ondanks het feit dat ik op de grond lag, vlak bij het park, werd ik niet gestoord door andere gasten of auto's. Het restaurant was druk en een beetje gemaniek, maar het personeel was aardig en de vegan optie die ik voor het diner heb gekozen was erg mooi. Het ontbijt was oké, maar de optie die ik op planten gebaseerd kook had kunnen doen met het warm zijn. De koffie van de zelfbediening was echt aardig.
