Hotels met Wifi in New Providence, Bahamas

Beside a daily tax fee of $55, that was never mention, they put a hold on my card for $200. A day for amenities or daily charges, TOTAL $800 BUCKS MANDATORY. I was not on property to use any unless it was to sleep in my room. So on check out they informed me it would be FIVE TO TEN BUSINESS DAY BEFORE THEY RELEASED MY $800 DEPOSIT. Now they have had my money for five days & now they want to keep it for another FIVE TO TEN DAYS.. WHO DOES THAT???

This is a gem within 15 minutes walk of downtown Nassau. The room was clean and the water pressure was strong. There were no coat hangers or hair dryer in my room but they found those for me. Also there was no drinking water provided in the room, I had to get drinking water from the kitchen which was fine. There’s a small grocery store around the corner on the main road. I heard the owner is in the process of putting in a pool which would be lovely during the hotter months.

De gele zou vruchtensap moeten zijn, die is superlekker. Ik drink het zodra ik beneden ben, minstens 1 liter per dag. De rode is vruchtensapwijn, die een beetje alcohol bevat. De smaak is ook erg lekker! 4. Er zijn niet echt veel mensen in dit hotel, dus de vakantiemiddelen die per persoon worden toegewezen, zijn erg overvloedig. I was given an old room that had 20coats of paint to mask the black mold . You could smell it . I checked in at 7:30pm, by midnight I had a sinus infection . I asked to change room at 6:30am. The receptionist put me in a different new building. It help but the black mold had done its damaged, I had sever sinus cold for 4 days with chills and now I’m dealing with a bad cough with chest pain.  When booking ask to be put in the newer building that has 5 floors. The staff is really nice sadly my stay was bad since I was given a room that should have been gutted instead of masking the mold behind the new paint.

In a word, I had a comfortable time. The reception was very kind to try make arrangement about my request. There is no complain for my room except window(It was not cleaned enough). I was surprised that there is a microwave oven in yhe room. In addition, I think this hotel has many other strong points (for example, the location near beach, complimentary breakfast and so on)

Hotel and staff was excellent. However the walls are thin, you can hear everything. Please don’t clean at night while people are trying to sleep

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt for 5 nights. We loved the choice of restaurants, pools, shops, the stunning beach (definitely opt for a sea view room!) The resort is huge. But then it’s balanced out by lots of choice. A few niggles eg. Charging extra for beds next to the pool - these were often left empty (as were all the cabanas) so felt like a waste. They high daily resort fee should cover these costs. Or just have all beds the same good quality?! The room was lovely, spacious and clean. Just missed things like… a sanitary bin by the toilet, amenities beyond shampoo and soap, no cosmetic removal pads, no spare toilet roll. No notepad and pen even - just basic amenities you’d expect in a standard resort, let alone a high end one. All in all, it’s a fab place for couples, families with all ages of kids, it’s great for hosting work conventions - they racially have it all, all in beautiful surroundings!
