Hotel situado en el corazón del Gjirokastër antiguo.
Hicieron gratis una mejora de la habitación y me prestaron el cable de cargar teléfono que me había olvidado.
Las indicaciones de Google Maps para llegar son algo confusas, mejor preguntar al estar ya en parte antigua. Es un hotel muy conocido.
El personal es amable.
El desayuno no está listo a la hora, por lo que tuve que irme sin desayunar porque no había nada preparado.
Supongo que fue porque era un día con poca gente alojada y no se imaginaron que una huésped quisiera el desayuno nada más abrirse, teóricamente, el comedor.
Me fui sin desayunar y sin tomar café.

Clean room, comfortable bed. Small hotel room. Tv was pointless, couldn't login to Netflix or any services. No kettle in the room, fridge is outside your room which was nice. Good location, market across the road and restaurants all around. Parking included was nice.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Kalemi 2 in Gjirokastër! The hotel itself is full of charm, beautifully combining traditional Albanian architecture with modern comfort. The breakfast was absolutely delicious — fresh, varied, and served with care in a lovely setting.
A small tip for travelers arriving by car: Google Maps can sometimes make mistakes when guiding you to the hotel, so it’s best to double-check the route or contact the reception for directions — the staff are very friendly and always ready to help.
Overall, a fantastic place to stay in Gjirokastër — cozy, authentic, and with great hospitality!

Lovely small family run hotel, nicely situated in the old town but way from the noisy crowded streets. The room was large enough for two with a spacious bathroom. Everything was new and very clean. Breakfast was supplied, though on the room description, it stated no breakfast. Moreover, the breakfast was very good and was brought to our table, a very nice touch with freshly made breads and omelettes. The family run hotel really took care of us from early check-in to providing information and made sure we got on the local bus, which stopped outside the hotel. I would definitely recommend the Palroto hotel.

Apart from the great location, the hotel is very clean, the food in the restaurant is great, the service is very professional and the staff is very friendly. We stayed at the Deluxe room, the room was clean, with a great view and comfortable bed. We ate three meals at the hotel's restaurant. The food was delicious, very well served and the prices were very good. We had a free meal (breakfast) which was served outside with a great view. We had a pleasant stay. Highly recommend.

Joni was a great guide showing us the way to the house and also helping us in the evening when we were lost. Gjirokaster was one of our favorite places in Albania❤️we also had a very good breakfast in the morning.
