Hotels met Wifi in Gunma Prefecture, Japan

We had a wonderful stay! We especially liked the location - walking distance to small downtown Shima, yet far enough to have less tourists walking around. The hot springs were great, food was delicious (especially if you want to try authentic local Gunma prefecture cuisine - might not be best for children), and the nightly traditional paper story telling was also great. We took a train + bus ride from Tokyo and the local bus (40min ride) from Nakanojyo station stops right in front of the hotel. We will come back again for sure!

A relax and nice view in Kusatsu. The hotel is located a bit far from bus terminal. However, there is a free shuttle bus service which connected with bus service. I strongly encourage the private onsen package where we can taste three different type of onsen in the hotel. My platinum ring changed colour, may be due to the acidity of onsen water😂. The dinner and breakfast inspired and it is good for family trip with a number of accessible service for elderly with physically limitations.

Het hotel ligt op een goede locatie, vlakbij het busstation en Shiduan Street. De warmwaterbronnen hebben goud- en zilverkleurige baden, evenals openluchtwarmwaterbronnen. Het eten is ook goed en de obers zijn zeer verantwoordelijk.

Ik heb het voor het eerst met mijn familie gebruikt. Omdat het in een woongebied een beetje chaotisch is, maar het gebouw zelf is mooi en breed 々✨ Het weer was erg warm en moe toen ik de nieuwste elektrische apparatuur aankwam, maar de airconditioning werkte, ik ben erg dankbaar. Ja. De projectie kwam ook naar een van de kamers, dus ik was erg blij in de kamer. Elk huis heeft een parkeerplaats, dus het is gemakkelijk om bagage te dragen. Het is dicht bij de bewoners, dus ik moest op het geluid letten, maar ik kon me ontspannen.

This is a fabulous place for an authentic Japanese holiday. The location is beautiful. The outdoor hot spring bathing area is clean and looks like a movie set. The included meals are generous in portion size and are delicious. Our room overlooked the river and it was great. Tatami floors and shoji screen windows. This is an old and historic place and does not cater to western norms. You sleep on futons on the floor. Only Japanese food is available. But it is a wonderful place to spend some time.

We had a very good overall experience at this onsen hotel. The atmosphere was relaxing, and we enjoyed our stay very much. We especially appreciated having an English-speaking staff member available — it made communication much easier and helped us feel more comfortable during our visit.

Kanemidori is a short walk from the bus depot. The staff at the reception and restaurant in the hotel were all very nice and helpful. The futons and bedding in the room are very comfortable and warm for winter. You can also control your own in room heater. The hotel onsen is well maintained with full amenities: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, face wash, face pack, hair treatment, and multiple types of lotion. We booked the room only but added on a dinner and breakfast at the hotel. Both meals were carefully prepared and delicious. The main tourist area is within walking distance of the hotel and you can go around in the yukata paired with the long and short kimono jackets provided by the hotel in the winter.

Great location and overall a good stay. I would consider staying again. However, the soundproofing was very poor. I could clearly hear noise from the hallway and the neighboring room, including an alarm that rang for a long time early in the morning. If you are sensitive to noise, this hotel may not be suitable. 立地がとても良く、全体的には満足でした。また宿泊候補の一つです。ただし、防音がかなり悪く、廊下や隣の部屋の音、早朝のアラーム音がはっきり聞こえました。音に敏感な方にはおすすめできません。
