"Samenvatting: Het is een hele fijne B&B en we hebben ons er heel prettig gevoeld! Ik vind de huishoudster van de B&B leuk. Hij is erg enthousiast, gaf zeer gedetailleerde check-in tips en leverde nauwkeurige service. De kamer is groot genoeg, 88 vierkante meter, er mag geen vocht zijn, het is erg schoon. Ik heb met de winkel gecommuniceerd en hoopte te kunnen upgraden naar een kamer met zeezicht, en het is gelukt om te upgraden naar een kamer met zeezicht. Haha, haha. De kamer was goed uitgerust en de huishoudster was erg attent. Ze voorzag ons snel van alles wat we nodig hadden. Bovendien kunnen de afhaalmaaltijden hier aan huis worden bezorgd, wat echt een pluspunt is voor luie mensen. De kamer is van alle gemakken voorzien, zelfs wasmiddel en muggenspray. Er waren geen wegwerppantoffels in de kamer. Ik vroeg de huishoudster of ze die hadden en hij gaf me er meteen een paar. Hij vroeg om een heleboel dingen, maar werd er niet op uitgekeken, waaronder wc-brillen en scheermesjes. Hahaha. Ik moet Xiaojie een duimpje omhoog geven. Erg leuk. Ik kom hier de volgende keer weer. Over de service-attitude valt niets te zeggen. Je kunt de zonsopgang bekijken terwijl je in bed ligt, maar ik werd laat wakker en heb het gemist. Ik heb nog wat foto's gemaakt en hier geplaatst, hahahahahaha."

We stayed at Uechao Hotel and were absolutely delighted with our experience. This hotel is a great choice both for a relaxing vacation and for an active, experience-filled stay.
The room was very comfortable and clean, featuring a spacious and cozy king-size bed. Housekeeping was done regularly and thoroughly, and everything was well maintained. Welcome fruits and the minibar were a nice and thoughtful touch.
Breakfast deserves special mention: it was varied, tasty, and offered a wide selection of both Chinese and international dishes. Having breakfast included for two guests was very convenient.
A special highlight was the surfing pass. The organization was excellent, with the option to choose wave levels suitable for beginners, intermediate, or advanced surfers. This unique feature really sets the hotel apart and makes the stay truly memorable.
The staff were polite, attentive, and always willing to help. Even with a language barrier, they made every effort to ensure our comfort, which we greatly appreciated.
Overall, Uechao Hotel offers excellent value for money, a high level of service, and a pleasant atmosphere. We would be happy to return and can confidently recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to China."

Facilities and service pretty good as same as before especially excellent experience provided from front desk Kate. She arranged nice room for us, RM#9999, i like this lucky number! Welcome fruits also good, the oranges very sweet, the amazing thing is she arranged the same fruits for my the other normal room. She is professional because she treats the guests equally and not the difference of room types. Also as the repeat guest, the feelings she gave us more like friends, this made me feel a sense of belongling. One suggestion that breakfast should be better and richer, more fresh food and less premade dishes. juice…biscuit(got wet and went soft)…Last looking forward the forth time stay..."

2026 Asia 100 - Scenic Hotels"My ocean view room was good sized and very clean. The frosted glass between the shower and the bedroom was a little weird, because you could make out someone else's body shape behind it. Breakfast buffet had a lot of variety, although the quality of cooked food was just okay. Clientele is almost entirely Chinese, and this is reflected in the 2 main restaurants being Chinese cuisine, and hotel notices being in Chinese without English. We tried both restaurants - Features is way more accomplished than Five Senses, and their service was also better. The two identical gyms are spacious and the equipment felt new. Staff tries to please, although the training and quality is not at international 5-star level. I wish the butler and front desk were more knowledgeable about activities and restaurants in the vicinity. Shimei beach in the Hainan winter is perfect for lounging around in, and for surfing. Signs everywhere warning about undercurrents, and consequently no one swims in the sea."

Unfortunately, the water supply had issues, but the hotel staff promptly helped to arrange us to be able to shower elsewhere. From the moment I raised concerns, the Front Desk Director, Sue, and General Manager, Terence Ng, personally intervened to ensure that all issues were addressed promptly and with the utmost respect. Their dedication to resolving guest feedback and commitment to excellence is truly commendable. I was also touched by the extra efforts they made, such as personally delivering breakfast to my room—a gesture that went far beyond my expectations and made me feel genuinely valued as a guest.
Additionally, I want to highlight the exceptional service provided by Yvette, the Manager of the Lakeside Restaurant. Her attentiveness and warm demeanor during my dining experiences added a personal touch that made my stay even more memorable.

If you’re traveling with a baby or young child, I highly recommend booking a family room. The room is spacious, comfortable, and very family-friendly. We originally booked a room with one bed, but the owner kindly upgraded us for free to a family room, which was a wonderful surprise.
The location is excellent. While it’s not within walking distance to the beach, the ocean view is visible at a glance, and the beach itself is very close. Transportation is extremely convenient — the homestay provides a small shuttle, and all you need to do is send a message in the WeChat group. The staff are always quick to respond and ready to take you wherever you want to go.
Since we were traveling with a child, we appreciated that the homestay is located slightly away from the bar street. It was the perfect balance — peaceful and quiet at night, without any noise disturbance.
The nighttime atmosphere is especially charming — calm, romantic, and truly relaxing.
Also, don’t forget to be kind and take care of XiangShu! The cutest puppy from the homestay!

Gift Seaview Homestay 真的可以说是日月湾数一数二的好民宿，风景如画，让人一住就爱上。
如果是带宝宝或小朋友出行，强烈建议订家庭房。房间空间很大，住起来非常舒适。我们原本只订了一间一张床的房型，老板非常贴心，直接免费帮我们升级到了家庭房，真的很惊喜，也很感动。
民宿的地理位置很好。虽然不是步行就能到海边，但站在民宿就能一眼看到大海，而且实际距离海边也非常近。出行完全不用担心，民宿有接送小车，微信群里说一声，小哥小妹马上就到，想去哪都很方便。
因为带着孩子，民宿位置离酒吧一条街稍微远一点，反而刚刚好。晚上非常安静，不会被吵到，睡眠质量很好。
夜晚的景色尤其迷人，安静中带着浪漫，特别适合放松心情、慢慢享受度假的感觉。
千万不要忘记好好对待享墅（狗狗）！
明年一定还会再来住这里！"
