This hotel is a great choice both for a relaxing vacation and for an active, experience-filled stay. The room was very comfortable and clean, featuring a spacious and cozy king-size bed. Housekeeping was done regularly and thoroughly, and everything was well maintained. Welcome fruits and the minibar were a nice and thoughtful touch. Breakfast deserves special mention: it was varied, tasty, and offered a wide selection of both Chinese and international dishes. Having breakfast included for two guests was very convenient. A special highlight was the surfing pass. The organization was excellent, with the option to choose wave levels suitable for beginners, intermediate, or advanced surfers. This unique feature really sets the hotel apart and makes the stay truly memorable. The staff were polite, attentive, and always willing to help. Even with a language barrier, they made every effort to ensure our comfort, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, Uechao Hotel offers excellent value for money, a high level of service, and a pleasant atmosphere. We would be happy to return and can confidently recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to China.

This is one of the best places to stay in Riyue Bay. All the hotels on the beach are extremely noisy because the bars put massive speakers on the street and blast music at insane volumes until 3am every night, making it impossible to sleep. This place is far enough from the main strip so you can actually rest at night. And it's clean and modern with A/C and hot showers. The owners are super helpful with anything you might need. Highly recommend.

We originally booked a room with one bed, but the owner kindly upgraded us for free to a family room, which was a wonderful surprise. The location is excellent. While it’s not within walking distance to the beach, the ocean view is visible at a glance, and the beach itself is very close. Transportation is extremely convenient — the homestay provides a small shuttle, and all you need to do is send a message in the WeChat group. The staff are always quick to respond and ready to take you wherever you want to go. Since we were traveling with a child, we appreciated that the homestay is located slightly away from the bar street. I absolutely loved my stay here! I was upgraded to a lovely super big room overlooking the pool garden! It really had everything, and I mean everything. A big comfortable bed, a couch with a projector and a TV (I didn't use either, but they were there), a fridge filled with water bottles and a ton of amenities (even mouthwash - bigger hotel chains didn't even offer that). The shower and toilet are separated, so no wet floor either. Nice balcony. There was no smoke smell whatsoever and smoking is forbidden in all rooms. The whole team was super nice! There's a shuttle to the beach, that is really convenient (you can message them up to 10 p.m. and they come pick you up). 艾伦even went to show me some food options in the village and later picked me up from there. 谢谢艾伦! There was also a delicious breakfast. And the pool is perfect for a quick swim :) The whole vibe of the house was nice and I would definitely stay again.

It was a nice place to stay. The staff were very friendly. They will help you to get an E-bike. The location is very close to the main beach. They have a small coffee shop within the place with a nice view. I’ll come back again.

I recently stayed here as a Belgian Chinese traveler, and even though my Chinese isn’t very strong, I was welcomed with so much warmth. This hostel is a true hidden gem, tucked away from the typical tourist trails in a quiet part of the village. It’s the perfect location: right by the fields and some very trendy coffee shops, yet only a 5-minute scooter ride from the main bay and the best surf spots. The owners, Shuiku (水库) and Xiaoxiao (笑笑), really made my trip. Shuiku immediately helped me sort out a scooter and personally showed me where to find the best waves, while Xiaoxiao’s English is quite good, which made everything so much easier. They also pointed me toward some local restaurants that were all absolutely delicious. The vibe of the place is just great. It’s incredibly clean because the cleaning lady and Shuiku himself clean the place several times a day. I loved the design of the indoor chill-out area, though sitting outside to enjoy the tropical weather was just as good. There’s a washing machine which is super handy, and you can rent surfboards for a very fair, cheap price. Because the owners' friends drop by almost daily, there’s always a lively, authentic atmosphere. I met a great mix of foreign tourists and Chinese solo travelers trekking around the island by bike or motorcycle. Many Chinese couples and families where staying too, it is very kid-friendly too. I even ended up meeting a French girl there, and we spent a whole week surfing together.
