"Amazing hotel with so nice and kind people. They treat you like a family. Hotel is so close to the beach, aprox 3min by foot. Room is very clean and comfortable. Hotel provide beach towels. Hotel have a nice pool. They serve breakfast every morning. Breakfast is fabulous, every morning they serve freshly juices (papaya, mango, passion fruit, pineapple), scrambled eggs, pancakes (rice or coconuts), some local dishes ( sorry, but I a am forgot the name), fresh fruits, coffee and tea, avocado, marmalade with butter and much more. Food is so delicious. They prepare dinner for us, few time, and dinner was amazing. For dinner they made fish or curry, depends what you want. The menager is excellent, he does a good job. We staying 12 days, and they arranged for us, a free trip to Marble beach, it was amazing experience. Hotel is very clean. If you choose this hotel, you will not regret it. I had the best service in this hotel so far, and I have stayed in many hotels. Last but not least, last day, manager mother made cookies for us, for the trip. ❤️ Like I am said, I never feel kindness like in this hotel. Thank you team for everything, you are amazing. I hope so we will see again!"

"Positives - I booked a night in this hotel because it is only a short distance from the local airport and I was catching a small plane to Colombo with Cinnamon Air. The hotel was on the waterfront with great views across the harbour. It had kerbside appeal and looked good on arrival. There was a restaurant in the hotel, so it was easy to get a relatively cheap and tasty evening meal and the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. They booked me a tuk tuk to take me to the airport the following day, they were careful with the food they prepared ensuring it didn't contain any chilli (allergy), and came promptly to replace the kettle when it fused the electricity in my room leaving me without power briefly. Negatives - There didn't appear to be any lifts and there were a lot of steep narrow stairs which would have been difficult with suitcases - luckily I only had a rucksack When I arrived, I saw that there was a small temple opposite, which I initially thought was a nice part of the view. However, I had obviously unknowingly booked during a festival and the extremely loud music and celebrations went on all night! I wasn't warned about this and the hotel had little sound proofing. The staff said that their other guests were ringing them at all hours to complain about the noise and the fact they couldn't get any sleep. I always carry earplugs with me and they blotted out a lot of the noise so l did get some sleep. If you want to stay here, I would check in advance with the staff about any festivals that may fall on your chosen dates. Overall it was very reasonable for the price."

Daarom hebben we in de vier dagen dat we er waren, voor de afwisseling, een ontbijt in een nabijgelegen café genomen. Zeer vriendelijk personeel! Al onze problemen zijn opgelost. Speciale dank voor de zeer vroege check-in zonder extra kosten. Veel restaurants en een paar kleine winkeltjes in de buurt. Ongeveer 7 minuten lopen naar een mooi strand."

"De locatie is mooi. Vanuit je kamer loop je zo het strand op. Maar verder ontbreekt het aan een hoop dingen. Personeel is vriendelijk maar niet behulpzaam. Ontbijt is slecht. Ze komen iedere keer als je je bestek neergelegd hebt vragen of je al klaar bent. Dus op je gemakje ontbijten is er niet bij. Avond eten is prima. Kamer is schoon. Stroom valt alleen voortdurend uit. Stopcontacten zijn ook erg slecht. Kortom, er zijn denk ik betere resorts te vinden met een vergelijkbare locatie voor dit geld. "

"De omgeving en locatie van het hotel zijn erg goed, maar de service is niet goed. Vooral het restaurantpersoneel is erg onvriendelijk. De houding van de zaalwacht is niet goed en ze discrimineren Chinezen. Er gebeurden ook een paar vervelende dingen tijdens de maaltijd, wat onze stemming beïnvloedde. We hadden een buffetdiner in het hotel. Voorheen werd het buffetdiner in Sri Lankaanse hotels samen met de kamerprijs afgerekend. Sommige restaurants moeten een paar dagen na de reis ook apart worden afgerekend, maar dan brengen ze je halverwege de maaltijd de rekening en vertellen je dat. Dit restaurant is goed, er is veel bedienend personeel, geen service, en ze vullen je water niet bij of iets dergelijks. Niemand bracht de rekening halverwege en aan het einde van onze maaltijd. We dachten dat de kamerprijs in rekening werd gebracht, dus we vertrokken natuurlijk. Toen hield de ober ons in paniek tegen, alsof hij een dief achtervolgde, en riep dat we niet hadden betaald. Het was erg onbeleefd. Niemand wilde opzettelijk niet betalen, maar het gedrag en de uitingen waren zeer discriminerend tegenover Chinezen en het was erg frustrerend. Bovendien probeert het bedienend personeel je alleen maar aan te sporen om wijn of andere drankjes te kopen (het Sri Lankaanse buffet serveert geen drankjes). We bestelden limonade, maar ze vertelden me dat het niet beschikbaar was. Ik zei dat mineraalwater prima was, omdat ik echt geen zin had in drankjes, en toen vertelden ze me dat het ook niet beschikbaar was (ik had duidelijk gezien dat de ober eerder mineraalwater aan een tafel met blanken bracht, pure discriminatie). Uiteindelijk dacht ik dat de ober misschien geld moest verdienen, dus bestelde ik drie glazen sap. Maar het proces was erg onaangenaam. Dit is het enige hotel waar we een recensie over willen schrijven na in zoveel hotels te hebben verbleven, juist vanwege deze onaangename ervaringen."

"Over het algemeen is dit een goede plek: ruime kamers, 30 meter van het eindeloze woestijnstrand (door het gebied van het nabijgelegen resort). U kunt de ligplaatsen van dit resort gebruiken. Grote ontbijt. Air conditioning en WiFi werkte geweldig. De mensen zijn aardig en waarschuwend, de problemen zijn snel opgelost. Het belangrijkste probleem was bij de inchecking toen de eigenaar zei dat hij mijn reservering niet zag. Het bleek dat hij alleen infrastructuur had onder Bucking.com en Agoda. Het was nodig om nerveus ..."
