4-Starhotels in Nikko

The hotel is great! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with many facilities like karaoke, a game center, and more. I visited with my family, a total of 14 people, and they were able to arrange a private room for us for both dinner and breakfast. Both meals were buffet-style and absolutely delicious. The onsen experience was wonderful, and the view from the onsen was fantastic, with a beautiful view of the Kinugawa River. However, there was one issue: when we checked in, the reception took our passports for photocopying. Unfortunately, they missed returning one of the passports to us. It wasn’t until after we checked out and reached our next stop that we realized one passport was missing. We had to go back to the hotel to take it. Despite this, the overall experience was great, and I would still recommend the hotel.

Het hotel ligt op een heuvel naast het Nikko Toshogu-heiligdom. Het ligt heel dicht bij station Kamibashi. Er was echter 's avonds geen plek om te eten. Het kan buiten het seizoen zijn, en er is een Lawson-supermarkt op slechts 15 minuten ' weglopen.

My first time visit to Japan and I was after an authentic Japanese accommodation. I booked a Japanese Style room with futon beds which were very comfortable. The room was beautiful and very clean. My booking also included breakfast and dinner which were always outstanding, beautifully prepared and unique food items. They utilized farm to table dining and the women explained each item served. They provided and encouraged one to wear Kimonos’s /tabi socks / slippers during one’s stay at, “ Nikko Iwaiyado Juyan “. Which further contributed to the authentic Japanese vibe. Indoor and outdoor hot tubs were amazing. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. The hotel is nestled within mountains and the setting serene. Hotel is family owned and they take pride in caring for their guests.

The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the view was great. The free cocktail and coffee services in the lobby were nice, as well as the free drink bar (including one beer per person) near the entrance to the hot spring. The paid massage service was also good. The meals were decent, especially the grilled beef, which simply melted in my mouth. The restaurant staff welcomed us warmly and provided friendly service. Cons: The variety of hot springs was lacking, and the view from the hot springs was almost blocked, which was disappointing. The lockers for valuables used combination dials, and foreign guests often didn’t know how to use them, locking their room keys inside and struggling to reopen them. This was a major inconvenience. They should switch to a key-and-wristband system like other onsen hotels. The room itself felt like an old, once-grand mansion that had seen better days. The furniture had many scratches, and the surfaces were worn and peeling. It made me think it must have been impressive in the past. Still, the room was definitely more spacious compared to other hotels.

Het busstation ligt op het kruispunt en het is nog steeds 6 minuten lopen bergopwaarts vanaf het hotel. Het semi-openluchtbad in de kamer is slechts een badkuip. Er is geen warmwaterbron, maar u kunt wel een bad nemen of uw voeten laten weken. Omdat het echter direct uitkomt op het bos, moet het worden beschermd tegen muggen gevallen bladeren Er werden echter geen grote dieren gezien. Elke dag plaatsen de obers badjassen, toiletartikelen, koffie, theezakjes, etc. bij de ingang. U dient de te verschonen spullen en het afval bij de ingang neer te zetten, zodat ze de kamer niet kunnen betreden. Het eten is vers, maar de porties zijn niet te groot, waardoor mannen misschien niet genoeg kunnen eten.

An extravagant Onsen Hotel experience. I came in Autumn in the depth of fall colours. Every night the wind in the trees lulled me to bed. The rooms with the private tub and terrace are awesome. Dinner and breakfast is luxurious too with a sampling of local Nikko delicacies like Yuba. A hotel for adults looking for calm and solace.

The facility is more likely an apartment . A big space for family traveler- We are family of 4. Our rooms have a onsen bath which is very good. Room was equipped with all necessary cookware. It is good for preparing breakfast.Also very clean! Location is good in case of travelling by car otherwise it’s quite far from Nikko train station. 1 minute walk to 7-11 and 5 minutes drive to big supermarket where you can find everything. Check in process is OK and convenient but you have to read instructions email very carefully, hotel will sent to guest 1 day! prior to check in date.

Nice onsen hotel with a natural onsen. Location wise can be very secluded, accessible only via 1.5+hr bus ride from tobu nikko station, or by car (most locals do this). No convenience stores nearby, but the hotel has its own small and simple convenience store and plenty of vending machines too.

A premium hotel & hotspring in kinugagawa onsen,this hotel also is famous all over japan, because of superb hotspring creation made by a big rock,very new & romantic interior design especially in the lobby,w/ an luxurios chandelier,the outside view is amazing,the famous fureai bridge in kinugawa & river is in the front ,very nice autumn view outside,the room is big,but don't have a telephone & dresser,the food is superb but if you want to drink alcohol,you need to reserve from the front desk during check-in.Intagramable view inside & outside,but don't go here by walking with baggage because of the high stairs in fureai bridge,there's a shuttle bus but you need to pay 300yen.Overall,you can feel the scenic views even you don't go outside,Thanks always Trip.com for very nice booking,more power & God bless always
