4-Starhotels in Toronto

I was initially apprehensive about staying in an ”old” hotel, but my worries came to rest. It was similar to a cottage theme with very clean rooms and adequate amentities. Staff were always very friendly, greeting us everytime we leave and return to the hotel, and responds promptly to our housekeeping requests. 10 minutes from the hotel, there is a park with a calming stream, a great place to rest and rewind from the busy city life. Nearest train station is just 5 minutes walk away, and a 30-45 minutes car ride to downtown. Some downsides though, there are no nearby restaurants besides the one in the hotel, and no nearby supermarkets. Utensils were not provided in the room so be prepared to bring your own set. Hotel lifts seem a bit worn out but had not broken down during my stay. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay given the calm surrounding vibes and amazing service. I would consider returning in the future

We verbleven 5 nachten in dit hotel en alles was prima. Het was een aangename verrassing, aangezien het een lastminuteboeking was nadat onze betaalde Airbnb-reservering niet meer reageerde. We zijn erg blij dat we deze suites hebben gevonden. We vonden vooral de zithoek erg fijn, waar we even konden uitrusten, tv kijken en een afhaalmaaltijd konden bestellen. De magnetron was erg handig (hoewel we een eenvoudige keuken ook prettig vinden!). Locatie: ongeveer 5 minuten lopen van station Queens, er is zelfs een uitgang direct voor het hotel, maar je moet wel weten hoe je de metro moet gebruiken. Dat is handig als het regent. Het is 7 minuten lopen naar het Eaton Centre met diverse restaurants en je kunt de tram nemen naar Chinatown. Ongeveer 20 minuten lopen naar de CN Tower en de haven, maar je kunt ook gewoon de metro nemen. Aan de overkant van de straat is een 24-uurs supermarkt. Service: het hotelpersoneel was erg vriendelijk bij het in- en uitchecken, en een van de schoonmaaksters was ook erg aardig. Helemaal niets op aan te merken. De kamer is modern, ruim en nieuw. Als ik dan toch iets moet opmerken, zou ik het prettiger vinden als het dekbed in een hoes zat in plaats van tussen twee lakens (wat in Canada blijkbaar de norm was?), maar ik vind het niet erg. Al met al komen we zeker nog eens terug.

Was very tired wanted a little rest from home, asked for late check out to catch up on sleep. Regular check out is 11:00 AM we were granted 12:30 PM. At 9:15 AM housekeeping was on the floor banging doors very loud, speaking loudly and knocking on doors while guests were not ready to leave. They had a fire drill and that came with audio music like in the room was very loud and unpleasant. First time experiencing this maybe it’s a protocol.

The hotel is ideally situated of the front of the lake with the ferries to the islands just outside. An underground stop is just across the road with links to Union station and elsewhere. There are also a selection of buses that pass and a hop on hop off stop is about 10 mins walk. You can walk most places in central Toronto from hotel if you wish and are happy walking. You can choose which street suits you best on your walk and change route for variation as only a block apart and will all get you to central Toronto. You are maybe about 15 mins from the Blue Jays and CN tower so hotel is in a great location. Billy Bishop airport is about a 20 min walk and would be convenient if you can get flights to or from there to your destination. The communal areas in the hotel look very nice, as is the entrance if being dropped off by car. However there is work going on around the outside of the hotel and if walking to and from the hotel it isn’t so pleasant on the eye. My bedroom was spacious but felt dated and would be nice to see a more updated look. However the view onto the lake more than made up for that minor irritation. The staff were all great and helpful when asked. There was various things going on from regular activities in the leisure area to free ice cream and wine ( not together unfortunately ) and music in the afternoon. The leisure facilities were great with a pool, sauna, steam room and gym as well as an outside area (5th floor) for sitting outside while the kids could play. There was a tennis court and a basket ball hoop. There was also an oppertunity to use cycles and go for a run possibly with a guide. We didn’t eat at the hotel so couldn’t comment but the did have a restaurant on the top of there south tower that would give great views. We did grab a coffee and snack from across the street and would enjoy sitting on the benches just along from the hotel looking into the lake in the morning. All in all one of the older hotels ( I think) in a great location with great views and facilities which met our needs.

The location is great, among shops and restaurants. The lobby is quite small, with only a couple of couches to sit. There is a restaurant and bar in the restaurant as well, with tables and chairs but the division is not as clear between what is lounge area for hotel guests and restaurant seatings. We were waiting for our room to be serviced and my husband sat at a table to do some work on the labtop and only about 20% of the restaurant had customers with the remaining tables empty. He was approached by a couple of waitstaff and he explained that he's there to do some work and didn't want to order any food. At which point, a manager approached him and asked him to move to the sofa area and not occupy a table and he did and then the manager approached him again, asking what room are we staying in as well as other details. There's not much work/lounge space in the area at all. I feel that they could have let him sit at a table, considering many of the tables were not occupied. I've seen people sit there on a previous day with their laptops and not order anything. So it was kind of unpleasant that that happened. Also, our room had absolutely no natural light, which made it very depressing. I don't know if I would recommend this hotel for a stay in Toronto.

Great location, easy check in / check out, amazing views from very high floor of a 50-story condominium. I was able to check in at 3PM and the place was very clean. 24 hour security at the lobby and 24 hour concierge on 5th floor. There is a large public parking lot right across the street that is safe and easy to use. Starbucks & Tim Horton’s is right downstairs, and Dundas Square is literally a 6 minute walk away. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to others!

In welk hotel kan ik een paar dagen verblijven? De prijs is gematigd, de locatie is geweldig, de service is attent, het heeft een stedelijke uitstraling en er zijn overvloedige commerciële voorzieningen omheen. Het heeft stijl, mode, ziet er goed uit en kan ook aan bepaalde zakelijke behoeften voldoen alsof het niet gemakkelijk te vinden is! Ik heb echt in veel hotels in Toronto verbleven. Simpel gezegd: de hotels in het stadscentrum zijn zeer gunstig gelegen, hebben een sterke stedelijke uitstraling en zijn zeer uniek alleen moet je ver weg parkeren, best duur! Hotels in de buurt van de luchthaven zijn over het algemeen betaalbaarder, met handig vervoer en parkeren, maar er zijn veel gasten die komen en gaan en die relatief luidruchtig zijn. Voor andere hotels zijn ze bang voor een slechte locatie, een ingewikkelde omgeving of lage kosten elke keer had ik het moeilijk totdat ik het Pan Pacific Hotel in Toronto ontdekte.

I was somewhat disappointed by the lack of prior communication regarding the check-in procedure. Upon arrival, we entered the loby area, and we were welcomed by the security officer who explained to contact the company for instructions which included sending photos of my ID along with a separate image of me holding it. After paying a deposit, we were finally granted access to the apartment. This process took nearly an hour, and we were surprised to find that our unit was located on the 48th floor of the tower. While this didn’t bother us, it would have been helpful to know in advance, especially for those who suffer from vertigo. Reliable Wi-Fi is essential, as a lack of connectivity can be quite problematic. The apartment itself was small and cosy, offering impressive views of the CN Tower. However, upon our arrival, the driver was still drying towels and bedding, which I found to be inappropriate. The small balcony had very dirty glass that had not been cleaned, and the kitchen was not entirely tidy. Additionally, the bedroom carpet was heavily stained, and we were required to remove our shoes. Upon checking out, we had to take out the trash and wash the towels, bedding, and dishes, which consumed another hour of our time. I couldn't help but wonder what the cleaning staff was doing. It’s worth noting that a deposit was taken, and failure to adhere to the rules would result in its forfeiture. Although I generally avoid complaining, We felt overwhelmed by the expectations, especially after paying for our vacation. Furthermore, if extending the stay for a few additional hours, there is a significant extra charge. The elevators were consistently busy, and during our departure, the security personnel in the concierge area were rather rude, insisting we leave the lobby despite the presence of chairs and tables. We simply wanted to arrange our next ride without having to do so on the street. Overall, I enjoyed the experience, but the apartment could benefit from more thorough cleaning, and the rules could be more accommodating for guests.

房間乾淨整潔 明亮舒適 設施齊全，窗外就是yonge街，對面就是超市，非常滿意。入住衹要按照房東的指引還是比較順利的。有地下車庫，出門旁邊就是地鐵，不管是自駕遊還是自由行都非常方便！
