I had to lay out the bedding myself, but I actually liked that it allowed me to check the condition. There was also a separate kitchen that looked spacious and nice. "We arrived late in the day to 24 hr check in. Free parking in the lot, which had space for our vehicle. Rooms were average and had the amenities most people use. Shower head positioned sideways so hard to change angle for tall people. Bed had wooden bar in between mattresses (and had cookie crumbs from other guests). Small patio with view of volleyball court. Quiet hotel."

"We hadden een kamer met panoramisch uitzicht en ik kan die van harte aanbevelen. Het terras is groot, de kamers zijn mooi en de badkamer is prima. Het resort is niet bepaald nieuw, maar de locatie is fantastisch en het uitzicht is prachtig! Er is een mooi, groot zwembad, veel rotsachtige strandjes en er zijn mooie stranden aan beide kanten van het resort, evenals een winkel en restaurants op het terrein. Het bleek veel beter te zijn dan het op het eerste gezicht leek."

"Mooie omgeving! We stonden dicht bij zee. De camping is echt niet veel bijzonders. Plekken zijn behoorlijk oneffen. Verder zijn de voorzieningen beperkt. Water moet je echt uit het toiletgebouw halen. Er zijn zover wij hebben gezien geen aparte tappunten op de camping beschikbaar. De ligging van de camping is prima. Je hebt het niet het idee dat relatief dichtbij de stad Pula bent. Pula is zeker de moeite waard om een aantal keer te bezoeken."

"We had a great stay in the Amfiteater Hotel. The location was perfect. Just walk out the front door of the hotel, look to the right, and the amphitheater is right there. It takes about 2 minutes to walk to. We were also really close to all of the historic sites in town. We could walk to all of them easily. Plenty of restaurants were nearby too. Our room was spacious and clean. We were there for a few days and had plenty of space to just sit and relax. All of the staff members that we interacted with were friendly and welcoming. We had a rental car, and they have a small lot to park in which was nice as not all hotels in the area offered parking. I saw another review that mentioned the apartment building behind it and how no other reviews mentioned it, I wouldn't have even thought to mention it if I hadn't read that review. It's probably important to note that Pula is a truly unique city in that you can see the whole history of the city in just one glance. This hotel was probably built in the 19th century. The amphitheater is from ancient Rome. The apartment building behind the hotel looks like it is leftover from communist Yugoslavia. And the entire town looks like that. Take a few steps and you'll see ancient Rome, a few more steps and you'll see tenement buildings from the former Yugoslavia, a few more steps and you're back in the 1800s. Personally, I found this juxtaposition fascinating. There's history all over Croatia, but Pula was the only place where I felt like I could see layers and layers of history all in one place. So keep that in mind when booking this hotel. It's in the middle of 2000 years of history - literally. "

"We returned... to a room with a balcony and a sea view. Still a rustic hotel with a pleasant ambience. In the morning and evening, when the day guests leave, peace and enjoyment of walks around the beautiful island. During the day, it is easy to find a place in the shade on the beach without crowds. The staff remains friendly, but something else distracted us. The choice at breakfast and dinner is somewhat smaller, in the morning there is a long line for coffee in the dining room, where only one machine works (breakfast for the Istra/Neptun/Karmen hotels), and the waiter directs us to drink Nesscafe coffee and this in a 3/4* hotel, where half board costs over 300 euros. Everything is more expensive, including bike rentals, which have been transferred to concessionaires. The service is worse than in the past. It has become overpriced, if we return, we will return mainly for the nature."

"The structure has a vintage decor, let's say 60s, but it has its charm, everything is still very clean. There is no mini bar and air conditioning, but they provided us with 2 nice fans and it was enough: The terrace overlooking the sea is amazing, very relaxing and pleasant. Breakfast is served in another structure but everything is very comfortable. If you are not looking for a modern hotel I recommend it without a doubt, welcoming staff especially Mr. ANTONIO, always very kind and helpful."
