"Als u een centrale locatie zoekt, is dit uw plek. Op de top van zijn uitstekende locatie was de dienst die we kregen tweede tot geen enkele. Omar was vriendelijk en flexibel en niets was te veel moeite. Het ontbijt was heel goed en de dame die het bediende was heel aardig en voldeed al onze verzoeken. De kamer was schoon en de matroos was erg comfortabel."

"The classic example of state management that is valid in every country. The island is one of the wonders of the world but the hotel.. 🤦🏻 I believe that the last "fixed up" was done by Tito at the end of the 70s. Dilapidated conditions to say the least, disconcerting bathrooms, hospital-style lunch and breakfast buffets. It's a shame because the staff is fast and friendly. All for only 3/400 euros per night!!! Important note: pay attention to the trap of parking "reserved" for hotel guests: from Saturday morning at 11am to Sunday at 8pm ONLY €55... a hundred meters away (in front of the beach bar) €21 for a week... a complete scam rule.. I repeat that the location is dreamlike, too bad it is in the hands of absolutely incompetent people. It could be the pearl of Croatia! I will definitely come back but sleeping in Fažana."

"We booked a room for 3 people with a terrace and sea views. Initially, they gave us a smaller room, but later they gave us the one we had booked, which was larger, with a sofa, an extra bed, and furniture on the terrace. Spectacular sea views from the hotel. Comfortable bed, fairly large bathroom, spacious room. We didn't like the buffet; both breakfast and dinner were barely replenished, we literally ate the leftovers. And the restaurant staff were curt, at least those who served us. They knew we were guests and still charged us a supplement. We also didn't like that a child was left sitting for hours in the seats on the terrace facing the sea, without ordering anything, while the rest of the guests couldn't use those seats. The child was saving them for his family, and on one occasion, he was angry and occupied a six-seat area for over five hours. The waiters did nothing. Attentive and friendly reception staff. Attentive and very friendly cleaning staff."

"Voordat je reserveert, moet je een paar dingen duidelijk maken. Het hotel is oud, dus zo oud. Dat merk je bijna elke detail, de houten vloer, deuren, ramen, gele wanden en vooral in de oude badkamer. Maar het is schoon, de bedden zijn in zekere mate modern en de muren zijn gerenoveerd. De hangs voor het donker of als oogbescherming in de avond bij het licht bestaat helaas niet. Inchecken en ontbijt zijn in het hotel Neptun, omdat de receptie en alle andere openbare ruimtes in de Karmen waren gesloten. De medewerkers zijn bijna allemaal zeer aardig en helpend. We hadden een kamer (nr. 334) gereserveerd met uitzicht op zee en het uitzicht op het balkon is echt dromend. Dit uitzicht en de hele prachtige gevoel op het eiland laten ons zien over de toestand van het hotel. Het zou waarschijnlijk niet meer betaalbaar zijn voor iedereen in de herstelde toestand. We hebben een dag fietsen geleend en ook de rustiger delen van het eiland verlaten. Maar 27 euro per dag voor een normale wiel zonder loopverbinding zijn niet aanvaardbaar. In de hoofdreizigertijd tot 30.9. ontvangt hotel gasten 50% korting. Waarom als hotel gast na 30.9. de volledige prijs voor de wielen moet betalen, is het ons echter niet duidelijk. We zullen in ieder geval terugkomen, ondanks enkele kritiekpunten. "
