"Wonderful place and wonderful family! The best accommodation we stayed in in China. Perfect position very close to the monastery. Very clean.
As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a snack of dried dates, bread, butter and tzampa, accompanied by some delicious tea.
We stayed with this family for two days and they always offered us breakfast, the first day with house tea and fresh bread, the second day with coffee and fried bread.
We spent the evening with them and they always kept offering us food and tea, always making us feel welcome.
The house is wonderful, ******* style, wooden, always very clean.
The beds are really comfortable, and they have a warming blanket. Inside our room we also had an electric heater to warm ourselves, which made the room really warm and cosy.
The bathroom has hot water.
You can fill your water bottles from the drinking water containers they have in front of each room.
We always saw them cleaning the common areas.
The owner, his wife and their three children welcomed us warmly like family.
I will recommend them to all my friends.
Really recommended!"

"Het was oorspronkelijk de plek waar de bewoners woonden. De vier kamers zijn omgebouwd tot gastenkamers, die typisch Tibetaans zijn. De gedeelde badkamer is een klein probleempje. De eigenaresse is erg aardig. De homestay ligt in een steegje. De eigenaresse haalde me op en regelde een parkeerplaats. 's Ochtends vroeg ik om ontbijt, gemaakt door de eigenaresse zelf. Het smaakte goed. Het ligt op 10 minuten afstand van het klooster van Labrang."

De roomservice bij de B&B is prima, en ik raad vooral de kamers aan de rivierzijde aan. Vanuit hier heb je het gevoel dat je baadt in het zonlicht. AAnonieme gebruikerDe kamer was in Tibetaanse stijl ingericht, met de Daxia-rivier direct voor het raam. Je kon het water horen stromen als het raam openstond, en het was erg stil als het raam gesloten was. Het bed was zeer comfortabel en het personeel was erg behulpzaam. De algehele voorzieningen voldeden echter niet helemaal aan de prijs, en er waren veel details die verbeterd konden worden, zoals de badkamer en de douche.

EEduardo112We feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to stay at Shangu. Not only is the guesthouse conveniently located near the monasterybut the hosting family also taught us so much about ******* culture. They generously shared their time, traditions, and delicious cuisine—things we would never have experienced anywhere else. They were always kind and helpful whenever we needed anything. And all the food we ate (a lot) was genuinely local, delicious and had the warmth of homemade food.
Furthermore, the guesthouse itself was absolutely lovely. The common spaces were very tasteful and inviting, and the rooms were clean, well-designed and beautifully decorated. We had a wonderful sleep, and no problems whatsoever.
We will never forget these few days at Shangu guesthouse, and our lovely moments with its family. This stay will remain one of the most meaningful memories of our trip to China.

The stuff is very friendly and as it was so cold during the breakfast in the dining room they offered me to eat in their private room where was worm. I am very thankful for that.

GGastgebruikerFaciliteiten: Er is slechts één openbaar toilet, wat erg onhandig is. Het is lastig om te douchen of naar het toilet te gaan. Er moet nog veel verbeterd worden.
Hygiëne: Omdat het een recent geopende homestay is, zijn er alleen de eigenaresse en haar man aanwezig. Waarschijnlijk zijn ze daar te druk mee en worden de bedden niet op tijd verschoond.
Omgeving: De homestay is onlangs gerenoveerd, de inrichting is zeer etnisch en de omgeving is erg goed.
Service: De bazin is erg aardig. Omdat ik Chinese medicijnen voor mijn kind had meegebracht die gekoeld bewaard moesten worden, hielp ze me enthousiast om een koelkast te vinden waar ik ze kon bewaren. Ze hielp ons ook met het toevoegen van een matras in de tweepersoonskamer. De bediening was heel enthousiast.
Over het algemeen is de baas erg aardig en de service erg enthousiast, maar de hardwarefaciliteiten moeten worden verbeterd. Eén badkamer is echt onhandig en ook de hygiëne kan beter. Daarnaast dient u een belastingfactuur aan te vragen, aangezien sommige gasten een factuur verlangen.

HHaloumaliao整體感覺還是挺不錯的，甘南自駕旅途中入住的第一家酒店，就在拉卜楞寺所在的地區，距離大概三公里吧，沒有在正街上，隔壁是一家很網紅的藏餐店。店家接待非常熱情，早上在二樓藏式房子露台吃着藏式早餐，還挺愜意。老闆特別熱情，願意給到各種有關旅途的建議，拉卜楞寺的觀景台就是他告訴我們的

GGastgebruikerDe eerste nacht dat we in Xiahe County verbleven, lag vlak naast het Labrang-klooster, en de parkeerplaats lag tegenover het ******* Medicine Hospital. Parkeren was handiger, maar de bagage moest naar de derde verdieping worden gedragen en de baas zou de initiatief om te helpen! Ik verbleef in een driepersoonskamer. De kamer was erg groot en het beddengoed was relatief comfortabel. Het koelde 's nachts af, dus pas op dat je niet verkouden wordt als je een bad neemt in de kamer! Voor het avondeten kozen we voor handgevangen schapenvlees. We moeten naar de Shangu B&B in de hoofdwinkel. Het landschap is ongeëvenaard en de portie is enorm enthousiast voor het ongeëvenaarde landschap! Als je naar het Labrang-klooster komt en in de buurt wilt wonen, is dit hotel een aanrader!

TTianshanfeixueZelfrijdende Gannan-reis, ik boekte het Overseas Chinese Hotel in de buurt van het Labrang-klooster.
