We had our own car (ideal if possible) and alongside visiting Labrang Monastery and walking in the nearby hills, we also enjoyed driving around the backroads into Qinghai and immersing ourselves in the landscape. "De ervaring was erg goed en de service was uitstekend. Persoonlijk vind ik het geweldig om in zo'n omgeving op het grasland te kunnen wonen. Ik zag wel wat negatieve reacties in de reacties, maar als ik het met vijf sterren zou moeten vergelijken, is het echt niet te vergelijken. Het enige wat ik hoop, is dat er noodmedicijnen zijn. We wonen tenslotte in de buitenwijken. Die nacht had mijn baby koorts en de winkel die we belden had geen thermometer. Mijn man reed rond elf uur 's avonds naar de provinciehoofdstad en het kostte hem veel moeite om koortswerende medicijnen te vinden en te kopen. Het duurde meer dan een uur om heen en weer te gaan. Ik raad vrienden die hier komen aan om hun eigen medicijnen mee te nemen."

"Een echte aanrader! Ik vind deze B&B de beste in Xiahe County! De kamer was van alle gemakken voorzien en volledig intelligent. Er was een slim toilet, een douchekop met temperatuurregeling, een föhn en alle benodigde toiletartikelen (een scheermesje, een tandenborstel en een wegwerptoiletbril) – het was echt compleet! Het was 's nachts zelfs behoorlijk warm, zelfs een beetje heet. Ik heb geen foto's van de kamer gemaakt, maar hij was precies zoals afgebeeld. De lakens en kussenslopen waren brandschoon en de kamer was brandschoon, met aparte natte en droge ruimtes. De eigenaar was ongelooflijk gastvrij! Ze waren zo aardig! Ze gaven me zelfs een paraplu toen we op een regenachtige dag uit eten gingen en belden ons zelfs om ons op te halen als we geen taxi konden krijgen. Ik was zo ontroerd! 🥹 Het hotpotrestaurant dat ze aanraadden was ook heerlijk en een echte aanrader (ik ben de naam vergeten, maar vraag het gerust als je interesse hebt). Het lams- en rundvlees waren ongelooflijk vers! Zelfs als je er veel van eet, zul je je niet vet voelen! Kortom, kom gerust! Het ligt ook vrij dicht bij Labrang, dus je moet er wel even voor rijden."
